The STM distributor is trying to locate the EV-SPC582B programmed with a dedicated firmware but no luck yet. Does the new AutodevKit system have any firmware for the SPC582B_DISC eval PCB? 

Hi everyone,I'm working with the SPC58NN84E7 in SPC5Studio, and the same issue occurs in the AutoDevKit Ecosystem. Simple examples, like controlling an LED with this processor, work without any problems. However, as soon as I add the GTM library, the program freezes during gtminit() at gtm_aux_in_src();. I’m not configuring anything in GTM.Has anyone encountered this issue? Could anyone please help?

Hello all,A very good morning, I hope you all have the good day.I am developing the AVAS project taking the base code(shown in the snippet) from the AutoDevKit.Here my requirement is I need to increase the sound from speed 0 to 20kmph and sound should decrease from 21 to 30kmph. For this requirement I need to increase and decrease the sound gradually. Initially I was using playsound() API where gain is fixed so I was not able to increase or decrease the sound. Now I am using playsoundwithgain() API, where I am changing the gain with respect to the speed this is affecting the quality of sound and I am getting so much of noise.So I wanted to know1. How to increase and decrease the sound linearly which API I need to use?.2. Which parameter should be varied with respect to speed whether volume or gain or something something else has to be done.It will be very useful to me if I get suggestions on my issues.Thanks & Regards,Aishwarya UM

Hi,I have recently started working with AutoDevKitStudio and tried some of the example codes. When I wanted to modify example code and add more pins in Pin Map editor, after saving my changes and generating them I couldn't see newly defined ports in autogenerated components\spc58ecxx_board_initialization_component_rla\cfg\board.h file.I'm using AutoDevKitStudio 2.4.0 and as said I'm pretty unexperienced with it. I followed YouTube tutorial and official documentation but I still can't see my newly added pins. The same happens if I try to modify some parameters of the components defined in example. After saving and doing full build again, i can't see my changes in generated code. Am I missing some steps here? BR,MaraLo

good morning. i just finished my code that makes a led blink. i pinned it on the GUI and wrote the code on the main. before flashing it i want to know what is the problem of my pin: it is written that the symbol can not be resolved even thougt there is no error when i build the code. however, there is an error logo next to my project moreover. i want to know if i can get real tutorials and samples on basics of SPC: use of registers, interruptions, ports... i searched a lot and only got the 8 part videos on Autoddevkit. searching on this forum i saw that other people are struggling finding low level examples to really understand spc5

good morningi want to create a simple led blinking code. for that, i got the path of the led 8 of my aek-mcu-c4mlit1. it is pk1gpio1 and is connected to the branch 25. i connected it on the gui and wanted to code in my main. unfortunately, C recognizes port k but not the pin that i just pinned and the function that makes it blinks. so my 2 questions are: how to make it recognize the pin and how to get functions that work kind regards

Hi,I have an STM32U5 communicating with a L9963E in order to balance a series of cells, although I think I may be underestimating/misinterpreting the functionality of the IC as I have been struggling to get the cells to balance correctly.Assuming I have set the registers correctly (relevant cells enabled, flags cleared, thresholds defined etc.), could someone clarify to me if, when I tell the L9963E to balance a selection of cells, the IC will actively discharge the cells with the higher voltages until they all reach an equal (lower) value?Or is the IC just simply discharging the cells I tell it to and that it is the STM32's responsibility to read the cell voltages and disable the balancing for each cell when appropriate? I am aware that there is a "Timed Balancing" mode where I could set the "balancing" time for each cell, but I do not know enough information about the cells in order to determine these values.Many Thanks

hi community,i my project. i am using PIT and it is working fine. before initialization of the drivers osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() is working fine. but after initialization of the low level drivers, osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() is blocked even though when i had used osalThreadGetMilliseconds() logic . even though it is not working (bolcking the code (PIT also)).is there any alternatives. to add delay's without blocking PIT.Regards E shiva

Dear all,Good morning, I am facing issues with some functions in autodevkit.The functions osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() and osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() are blocking the entire execution.As the Autodevkit driver doesn't support the CANTP(response taken from AutoDevKit Community) so I am sending 8 bytes and then 8 bytes and so on. For this I need delay between each set of 8 bytes for this delay implementation I am using above mentioned function in different ways, but this is blocking entire CAN communication.So Can anyone help me to figure out this issue. Thanks & Regards,Aishwarya 

Dear community members,I have three questions about the AEK-POW_BMS63EN require answers and input from experts:1. After running the example of AEK-POW_BMS63EN, everything is ok; however, the fault LED on  is always high in AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 even thought the F1 and F2 parameters are 0. Is there any issue related to the board or system?2. How to place the NTC sensor on the AEK-POW-BMSHOLD (the manual does not state this clearly)?3. Is there any function to read current of each cell? Any help would be very much appreciated.TH.

Hello all,I'm Ali, new to ST Microcontrollers, and I'm seeking some guidance to get started with SPC5 Studio. Previously, I developed custom SDKs where I had control over registers, their addresses, and more. However, transitioning to SPC5 Studio has proven challenging for me.While I can easily import samples from the application library and run them on my microcontroller, I'm struggling with writing a simple LED blinking program. Understanding the schematic, identifying pins, ports, and other details has been particularly difficult.Currently, I've created a project and set pin 1 as GPIO using pinMap editor, but I'm unsure how to proceed further. If anyone could provide assistance in getting started with SPC5 Studio, including basic programming instructions, it would be greatly appreciated.For reference, I'm using the AEK-MCU-C1MLT1 board.Best regards,Ali

I recently installed SPC5 studio and I'm referring to example codes. Hi, I'm an SPC5 beginner. I followed the YouTube tutorial and correctly installed AutoDevKit zip file. When i go SPC5Studio>Help>Install New Software>Add>Local, AutoDevKit does not appears in my unziped folder. I see there are some files in the video (AEK, API, ComplexDrivers etc.). But i can't see these folders in my downloadPlease Help.Thanks a lot))

Hello, I have a trouble when I tried to change AMP I2C adreess on AVAS EVK which is based on AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1(https://www.st.com/en/solutions-reference-designs/sl-ssasf011101v1.html ) like the below. 1. In Allocation pin page, I just do "Delocation" and then "Allocation" without any action.2. After Compile and download, the Amp doesn't work even though it worked very well before.3. When I checked pinmap, the pin map was changed.  - Before - After(Only Blue parts are same with before....) I don't know why the pin map is changed. How to avoid this?? Thanks,

Now I am using SendCanMessage() API for transmitting the data and mcanconf_rxreceive() API for receiving the data. No if I want send more than 8 bytes I need CanTp so I wanted to know that which API's are used to send and receive data in case of usage of CanTp and if there is any suggestions how to implement CanTp in my project .I took "AVAS Compact - Test Application" as my base code(shown in snippet).Thanks Aishwarya UM

Dear community member,I am using L9963E IC on custom pcb board. I send a command to read register address 0x02 of device 1, but in response frame getting address feedback for register address 0x06. also while reading dev_gen_cfg, getting different response if reading it twice.I had changed the spc example code to run on STM32G4, and keep bne polling to read response by dending 0x55 0x55 0x55 0x55 0x55. what could be the possible cause for 1 added extra bit in address feedback section of response frame ?Thanks 

Hello, As far as I known, ST released two kinds of AVAS EVK which one is based on AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1(https://www.st.com/en/solutions-reference-designs/sl-ssasf011101v1.html ) and another is based on AEK-AUD-C1D9031(https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/aekd-stereoavas.html#overview ).I have both EVKs now but I have a issue on #2 case below.AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 with PLS Programmer/debugger tool + UDE StarterKit SWAs you know well, AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 board includes PLS Programmer/debugger tool inside itself. So, Under this environment(PLS Programmer/debugger tool + UDE StarterKit SW), I can write/erase specific NVM part to change WAV file(.hex format) and the way is explained very well on UM2719 like below.    AEK-AUD-C1D9031 with StellaLink Programming/Debugging tool + autodevkitspc5studio SWAEK-AUD-C1D9031 board doesn't include PLS Programmer/debugger tool inside itself. So, I bought a stellalink(AEK-AUD-D1D9031 can support this). Hi, To emulate the behavior of cell added in AEK-POW-BMS63EN board, we used voltage divider circuit (36 V, 10 5ohm resistor)and used the voltage drop of each resistor as input to C0......C14. For some days comm. timeout led was being turn on for 60 seconds whenever power on the supply, and work correctly to get voltage, current, temperature measurement and also balancing was working. But once balancing was turn on (due to voltage divider circuit voltage and current will increase for every i/p c0...c14) after that whenevr we power on supply, comm. timeout led was only glowing for very short duration, and now now no voltage or current measurement is possible as it just timeout before any communication.Is there any way to make its timout time for 60 seconds as it was.or Is the IC got damaged due to cell emulated ciruit. ? Thanks and regards,bitBuddy 

Hi all,I am facing issue with Open Load detection in PLAY mode and it is working fine in MUTE mode.I have flashed and tested  the example base code from STM(Autodevkit), Open Load Detection is not working in PLAY mode in this code(Placed the example code snippet below). In MUTE mode, If either or both speakers are disconnected the signal is updating with value FAULT_OPEN_LOAD_MUTE as shown below-In PLAY mode, If speakers connected or disconnected also both both conditions the value of signal is updated with "NO_FAULT_PLAY" as shown below-The structure member "OPENLOAD_PLAY" of structure "FDA_Errors_t" which is getting value from the registers is itself not updating during PLAY mode.Can anyone help me to come out of this issue. Thanks,Aishwarya UM
