Posted on July 21, 2017 at 08:40Hi I am working on SPC560B50x controller and trying to send CAN messages from the controller to the busmaster tool.I am unable to hit CAN transmit ISR breakpoint, but messages transmitted through my controller is getting reflected in the busmaster tool. CAN configuration is as follows-: 1) Using CAN channel 0.2) Baudrate 500 kbps.3) No FIFO being used.4) Lowest Buffer transmitted first5) Max Message Buffers used are 32 for all IMASK1 is enabled ( value given = 0xFFFFFFFF).6) Bus Off, Error, Tx Warning, Rx Warning all are enabled.7) All being done in the freeze mode. In CAN_Transmit function I am setting appropriate code for transmission.I am using 32 message buff to transmit 32 different data, same message ID over CAN bus and clearing all IFLAG1 after transmission. Code snippet is attached. Please help so that I may be able to hit the CAN transmit ISR breakpoint and I may proceed further.

Posted on July 26, 2017 at 16:02I've inherited some CAN driver code and I'm looking at the error handling. Currently the only error that is enabled is BO (Bus Off). When this error is seen the CAN peripheral is reinitialized and all error flags in IR are reset. Anybody have any experience with any of the other error flags? Should I enable any of the others? Maybe it's enough to have just BO enabled because eventually any kind of serious error will trip BO??Thanks.Mike#ir #bo #can

Posted on August 03, 2017 at 12:26Hi,i'm using Hightec Studio/Compiler an i try to set the PIT for a SPC570s µC. InterruptInstall(IRQ_ID_PIT0_CH0, callback, 1)This function set the following:INTC_PSR226 = 0x8001 and set the Pointer to the funcion 'callback' into the vector table. Now my Problem, everytime when an Interrupt occurrs, the programm crashed. In Debug Window, the Controller stops at: 0x00000010:   FF FF FF FF  Unknown Instruction .It would be nice if anyone could help me.

Posted on July 31, 2017 at 22:00 Hi all, I am trying to initialize the FlexCAN1 module on the SPC570S40E1 micro. The CAN module looks like it is correctly initialized, but when I try totransmitusing one of the MB's, the CAN Txline shows no activity and remains in the default high state. Time Stamp and Code field of the MB is showing the correct updated values. An interrupt is generated as well. Any idea what may be causing this problem? Posted on June 29, 2017 at 11:40I use SPC5604B54L5 DSPI module, LTC6804 (Battery voltage acquisition chip) and the microcontroller through the SPI communication, the mode is CPOL = 1, CPHA = 1, but the communication is error.Before I used STM32 and LTC6804 to communicate, it was successful.So I connected a logic analyzer: I found that each time the SPC5604 sends a byte, MOSI will pull high .    in other words, when the SPI is in the idle state, MOSI is high by default.What can I do to make MOSI in the default state is low?I am very very  puzzled why the logic analyzer can analyze the data sent by the SPC5604, but the LTC6804 does not have any data to return. This indicates that the SPC5604 rules for sending data are compliant with the SPI rules. Posted on May 03, 2017 at 18:05Hi, I am using the SPC570S40E1 microcontroller. When looking at the MOSI line on the scope, I am seeing spikes right around the end of a frame even when transmitting all zeros. The device I am trying to communicate with requires a 40 bit message. To achieve that, I am sending 16,16 and 8 bit frames. There is one spike at beginning of the second frame and another at the beginning of the third frame.Also, regarding the Fast Continuous PC mode, which allows masking the Tasc and Tcsc delays, is there a way to enable the masking of delays without  also enabling parity bit transmission.ThanksUpdate: I don't see any spikes if I enable continuous clock, but I am still looking for a solution without having to do that. I tried lowering the baud rate and adjusting the delays( Tasc and Tcsc), but that didn't work.#spi

The bootloader size is limited to 64k and the main application start address  changed to 64K. The jump to the main application from bootloader works fine(jumping to 0x00010000) . But when I am trying to jump to bootloader start address  0x00000000 from main application I am getting the error response as ''Unknown break cause'' in UDE,Please find the attached Error Screenshot.I am using SPC560B54L5 EVK along with SPC5Studio 5.2.3.I am attaching my example test applications for your reference kindly check and provide your suggestion for resolving the issue.Thanks in Advance,With Regards,R.Santhamurthy#spc5

Unfortunately, I am unable to replicate what I have seen at the fair.Currently, I am trying to set up a Project for SPC570S. I have available the Evaluation board SPC570S-DISP.SPC5Studio Version 5.2.3I am loading a demo Project using the SPC5Studio Wizard: select my demo board, select a demo Project 'SPC570Sxx_RLA CAN Test Application for Discovery' and off we go.The Project is created successfully and I want to get started configuring the MCU using the MCU wizard (plugin is installed). But I cannot find it. The same applies to the Clocktree Wizard. The plugin is installed but I cannot find it for my Project anywhere.Can someone give me a hint as to how to get my development started?Best Regards,thomas#spc57

Posted on June 14, 2017 at 13:51Hello everyone, I'm working with SPC5Studio v5.0.I need to  make permanent changes to the values of the environment variables (see picture below): Unfortunately, every time I make a change it only last until the next restart of SPC5Studio (e.g. I change the RLM_LICENSE value to have it pointing to a local license server, and when I restart SPC5Studio I find it reset to the default value C:\SPC5Studio\licenses).Furtermore I'd like to add the files where these variables are stored to my repository, so that they can be part of the commit. Posted on March 09, 2017 at 07:28it's my first Project with a SPC560D40 an SPC5 Studio. I'm trying to generate PWM-Signals on the Pins RA0 to RA5. When I look in the eMIOs Settings of the SPC560Dxx HAL Driver Component, I can only activate eMIOs group 0 (Channel 9..15) or Group1 (Channels 17..23) but RA0 to RA5 should be Channel 0..5. For these Channels I can only activate ICU drivers. #pwm
