GNSS positioning

Hi,I bought a Teseo-VIC3DA Evaluation Kit and when I went through the associated documents, they mentioned the concepts of "Teseo-DRAW and Teseo-DRUM". In my application, we do not have access to the vehicle's wheelticks/direction information so I guess I need to use DRUM. But I could not find any information about how to configure the evaluation kit to work in DRUM. Are DRAW and DRUM two different firmware or two different modes?Another question is about the DR calibration. I first updated the firmware to BINIMG_4.6.18.11_VIC3DA_ARM and did not change any configuration. Then I installed the kit to a vehicle and after half an hour driving, I could see $PSTMDR2 showed "system ready" and $GPGGA showed the DR was working with location readings (strangely $PSTMDRCAL did not show up anymore but that may be a separate topic). Hi the Teseo VIC3D datasheet doesn't seem to have very detailed electrical specs and neither does the UM2832 hardware manual. I assume the gpio are push pull referenced to VCC. I'm looking for VIH, VIL, VOH, VOL, any power on or sequencing requirement between VCC and VBAT. Where can I find stuff like that ? 

Hello, I am a newbie on GNSS modules, trying to understand behavior of module. I look at Software Manual and all the commands, PSTMHOT, PSTMWARM, PSTMCOLD command get my attention. When we use these set of commands ?For example I have teseo module with back up battery on, after cold start, module starts to work for some time and I turn the power off. Maybe after 1 hour maybe after 1 month I will turn the power on, not obvious...Modul sometimes should hot start sometimes warm sometimes cold. Module should decide itself by checking itself right ? There is no point in writing these commands. The question,in which scenario should we use these commands ? and also I have been looking for code example that can guide me when understanding how to configure from scratch.And also I upgrade the firmware to 4.6.6.5.6, when I configure with PSTMSETPAR command, it works with problem, fox example I want to open some kind of messages but command open other message types. Hi I'm now using Teseo-VIC3DA through evb.I have a curiosity about which level the sensor fusion btw GNSS and IMU is performed.I can log the data through Teseo suite application.But i can't figure out that GNSS messages such as NMEA GNGGA, GPVTG etc... is the result of fusion or the raw data of GNSS.Those messages is the result of fusion btw GNSS and IMU?And if that data is the result of fusion, Is there any other way to get raw GNSS data?Thanks a lot in advance.

Happy New Year everyone !I am currently trying to get the nmea sentences from the above gnss module (vic3da) i have connected the uart rx/tx and ground (gnd) and am able to ping the gps unit but unable to read any data from it has anyone ever written code that i might have a look at to know if I'm doing some thing wrong as I am completely new to MCUs or can anyone guide me to complete my project successfully ?  with regardsswayam :)

Hello,I am curious whether there are any power sequencing requirements for the Teseo-LIV3R.  I didn't see any in the datasheet.  In particular:Will the module work correctly if VBAT is open-circuited, while VCC & VCCIO are supplied?  Obviously it won't retain time or ephemeris in this configuration, but will it even work at all?  Basically, is the internal 32k clock supplied by VCC OR VBAT, or only from VBAT?Would it cause any hardware problem to leave VCC up and VCCIO down for an indefinite period or time, or vice versa?What would the power draw be if, say, VCCIO was up but VCC was down?Thanks!

Does it is possible to change the Teseo-LIV4F PPS output frequency to a stable (low jitter) frequency greater or equal to 10MHz ?

What is the timing specification of the PPS (Pulse Per Second) output from the Teseo-LIV3R in terms of pulse width and/or duty cycle?  I've reviewed the datasheet, UM2523 (ST Teseo III ROM binary image - User manual), and UM2231 (Teseo-LIV3 GNSS Modules - Hardware Manual) but don't see this specified.

I have a question regarding the Teseo-LIV3.My understanding is that when power is supplied to the IC,the Ant-off signal should go high (H) after a certain period. However, in my case, the Ant-off signal remains low (L) even after powering the IC.Aside from a possible antenna short circuit, what other factors could cause this behavior?

Hi allI have a TESEO LIV4F connected to an STMF411CEU6 via I2C. I am able to read the NMEA sentences ($GNRMC etc.) at 1Hz via I2C.I would like to set the fix rate to the maximum 10Hz as outlined in the datasheet, but i am not able to do so. In fact I am unable to get a response for any of the commands I send via I2C. I only receive the NMEA data like $GNRMCI've read through the documentation for the LIV4F, the software manual (UM3009) says that for the firmware configuration: "The "Factory Setting" can be changed and saved at run-time using specific NMEA commands" and also gives some I2C commands, so I am led to believe this is possible. Has anyone been able to configure the fix rate via I2C commands in run-time?  Here is a code snippet I am using to test my board: //Command message to send//I have also tried $PSTMGETPAR,1231 and $PSTMSETPAR,1190,0.1 with and without the "\n\r" and received no responses.static const char *cmd = "$PSTMGETPAR,1190\n\r"; HAL_I2C_M

Hello everyone!I'm a beginner in hardware design and I'm trying to design a simple smartwatch. For the GPS function I decided to use the Teseo-Liv3r. The fact is that in the user manual they indicate several types of antenna, in this case I have selected one of the recommended ones, the ANT1818B00BT1516S.My questions are:+ Section 8 is the recommended layout, it tells me to use a 50 ohm line, how can I calculate the track thickness correctly?+ On the other hand, section 9.1.2 shows an example layout, does it maintain a specific distance between tracks?+ I understand that surrounding the track path is to ensure the RF path, should I take into account that tracks pass under the path in other layers? Or, if there is a ground plane, would it not affect it?Finally, do you think I should use another type of antenna for my design? I'm looking for something small, but I'm not sure which one to choose.Thank you very much in advance

Hi, I am currently testing the VIC3DA GPS module on my development board. I've tried to calibrate it by following the procedure given, and sending the vehicle speed and direction, but the VIC3DA module never sends me an OK status. Good morning, I want to calculate the power consumption of my teseo vic3DA EVB, unfortunately, the datasheet do not talk about it, I just see in the schematics, it can be powered by 12V, 5V or 3.3V but nothing about the input resistance or the total power consumption.

HI,I am using x-stm32mp-gnss2 evaluation board and interfaced with the host PC through UART to USB converter for utilizing the TaseoSuitePro7_3_3_1 Software.I want to analyze PVT solution using independent satellite signals such as GPS only, NavIC only, BeiDOU only, and combination. I am not able to get any command for this.Request to help to fix this problem.
