Hello,Looking at the documentation of the M2SA module, I noticed that the function of the same pins (21, 22, and 23) differs between the datasheet and the application note. Does anyone know the exact function of these pins? M2SA - application noteM2SA - datasheet pinout

Hi,I am working on the LIS2DU12, but unfortunately it does not yet work as I expected. I do a reset and wait with the status bit of reset until it is done. The system is therefore in power-down.  I then set the drdy. This immediately triggers the interrupt because the drdy bit is 1. I see that the DRDY never resets on a reset. So the reset doesn't work?How is this possible?.

   I can't get my L9663 SPI working. My understanding is that any 32-bit data I send to MOSI will return a 32-bit data from MISO. However, I am not getting any response; MISO remains low the entire time.    I am now using a QFP32 general adapter board to solder the L9663, so I want to use the minimum connections to get the SPI on the L9663 to work. According to the manual, only VB and VDD power supplies are needed to make the SPI work. Are there any other connections that could affect SPI communication?  Now I am planning layout a PCB to solder and include some filter capacitors. Here's my plan. Can anyone help to check if it's complete design (at least the SPI will working well).   VB=VAS=12V,VDD=5V GND1-GND2-DGND connect togetherTM,CLKIN tied to GNDVASSUP tied to GNDBH1,BH2 tied to VB100 nf capactor between VINTD and DGND100nf capacitor between VDD and DGND2.2uf//100nf between VB and GND1      

Hi,   I'm interested to learn if the BlueNRG-LP chip 355AC can be set in dual mode (which is possible from example code), but over 2 different PHYs. I want the chip to be a central device over coded PHY to connect with sensors and over 1M PHY to talk to a mobile device as a peripheral.1) Is the chip capable of advertising and then maintaining connection over the 1M PHY.2) Will the chip automatically switch radio to provide this functionality? Hi, I am trying to use the BLE (SPBTLE-1S chip) on my STWIN to send acceleration data, and receive some parameters. My first idea was to use a template from X-Cube-BLE1 with the following configuration : HCI_TL : BasicHCI_TL_Interface : UserBoardApplication : SensorDemoBLEAccording to the schematics, I need to use the SPI2 to communicate with SPBTLE-1S. My CubeIDE configuration is the following:Unfortunately after flashing, I can't communicate with the BLE, the void MX_BlueNRG_MS_Init(void) failed because of the function aci_hal_read_config_data(CONFIG_DATA_RANDOM_ADDRESS, BDADDR_SIZE, &bdaddr_len_out, bdaddr). The printf indicate "Static address not well formed". Edit 03/11/2022: getBlueNRGVersion give FW_Version = 0 why ? Hi all,i have an STEVAL-MKBOXPRO that i want to reprogram.I found STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK here https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-mkbox-bledk.html#documentation and specially example BLE_Sensor_DemoI follow "UM3227 STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK software package for BlueNRG-LP", specially Chapter 3.1 BLE Sensor demo ... flash it with RF Flasher Utility ... all seems ok.However, when i restart my STEVAL-MKBOXPRO, no BLE advertising appears and i cannot connect with app. "ST BLE Sensor Classic", no more visible. Using another ST app. "ST BLE Tool" confirms that no BLE advertising exists.I precise that i flash it with the original BLE_SensorDemo.bin provided in STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK\Firmware\BLE_Examples\BLE_SensorDemo\BlueNRG-LP\ReleaseDoes anybody can confirm me that STSW-MKBOX-BLEDK software package is functional with STEVAL-MKBOXPRO ?Thanks in advance, Christian

Hi I have connected Bluenrg LPS eval board (network coprocessor mode) with STM32L476 Nucleo board and both are connected via jumper wires.I'm transferring 30 bytes in a single packet from STM32 nucelo to Bluenrg LPS module what I have seen is, once stm32 sent 1 byte from SPI it waits for interrupt from bluenrg LPS and this wait time is so longer sometime that it gets timed out or timer gets expired(in context of code). And this behaviour happens with almost all packets.I tried the sensorDemo example code (from bluenrg LP DK), sending same amount of data is taking lot of time on this as well. Can someone help me in localizing the problem, am I missing any parameter configuration or is it just because of jumper wire?    

Hello Everyone,I am working on a product and recently due to chip shortage I have to change the IMU. I have selected LSM6DS. My MCU is Esp32. now when I send a query of I2C address it responds with 0x7E address while it should be 0x6A. I was using Adafruit library and that is not working with the chip. Can anybody help why this 0x7E or any workaround this? I have attached the schematics. the I2C pullups are 4.7K. thanks

Hello everyone I am looking into the STPM33/34. I only want to use 1 SPI bus for both ICs and select it with the SCS. In the datasheet I cannot see whether the MISO goes into tristate when the IC in question is not active. I also cannot see any information about the galvanic isolation/barrier. Can anyone give me information about this.Thank you in advance.

Hi,during maximum heating tests of our device, we measured a case temperature of +92 °C on the STKNX (on top of the plastic package via thermocouple). The environmental temperature near the STKNX and the PCB was +85 °C.On the borderline, but ok in my opinion.To make things easier, is there perhaps a maximum value for the STKNX case temperature? Datasheet information:TJ =  Maximum operating junction temperature = +110 °CTAMB = Operating ambient temperature = -40 to +85 °C

After creating new project in ST WiSE Studio the created folders and files are like in pictureWhen new project is compared with other projects from examplesit is noticed that some folders are missing.One of missing folder is User. Greetings,  We are currently evaluating the STEVAL-IDB012V1 board (BlueNRG LPS). We're facing some difficulties since we aren't able to debug the SerialPortBLE example in the SDK with Wise-Studio.  Problem 1: We followed the procedure on the user manual (UM2735 rev. 13) in order to setup everything correctly (CMSIS-DAP and debugger selection), but still we've encountered the following error: Error Is there, by any chance, something we are missing?   Problem 2: We'd like to specify that the board works correctly with RF-Flasher_GUI and BlueNRG-LPS_Navigator apps and we were able to test (in part) the functionalities we needed. We used "in part" because the board suddenly stops working (needs to be re-flashed + reset and we have to restart our BT client device before start a new association). We'd like to debug and see what happens in the memory when we try to send an entire 200kB file using our SW using the write_without_response function (does not happen w

I would like to connect the master to these 5 Slaves only, so no other device can connect to them and vice versa. I thought about using a whitelist. I am developing software that uses BlueNRG-2 as a peripheral to communicate with a central device.(With reference to BlueNRG-1, BlueNRG-2 BLE stack v2.x programming guidelines(PM0257))I checked using the iPhone (LightBlue app) and it was able to detect the BlueNRG-2, but I couldn't connect.(Timeout)It seems that hci_le_connection_complete_event() and aci_gap_pairing_complete_event() are not called.(BTLE_StackTick() is being called, but it's not working?)If there are any points I should check, please let me know.

I try to use STM32CubeIDE but I didn't find how to program, run and debugSPBTLE-1S and BlueNRG-M2 modules.I find that WISE Studio is more usefull. I try examples from BlueNRG-XNavigator. I find out that after activating BLE Beacon example module can notbe used for other examples until reseting with Flasher.I stop with my development when I try with my design. I try to do mixture ofUART and GPIO, what I need for one of my project. I have problems with addingneeded includes and files. At the end I got message that binary file is notexist.On this point I need Your help.I will send more information for helping me.

Hi,I'm using the RTC in clock watch mode to wakeup after a long period.I've tested the RTC_ClockWatch project into my dev kit, that works OK, but the RTC values are always lost after a reset.In my case the main power is always ON, so I espect the RTC values was mantained. Anyone can help to figure out if this is possible or not in this BlueNRG?Thanks!

Hello,I'm playing a little bit with your BLUETILE eval kit and with my own board using a BLUENRG-M2SA. both are running at 32Mhz.Using the SensorDemo firmware from the BLUETILE DK, I noticed that the battery voltage sent by both modules were slowly decreasing, whereas both boards were plugged to my PC (so it is not a battery voltage that is discharging, voltage is constant).I checked the device limitation here : https://www.st.com/resource/en/errata_sheet/dm00511358-the-bluenrg2-device-limitations-stmicroelectronics.pdf and I found that ADC is not working properly on 32Mhz so you patched it with the ADC_2411_WORKAROUND by switching clock to 16Mhz and then back to 32Mhz during ADC reading. Hi community,in the example code BLE_SensorDemo_BlueMSapp there are two places where the device name is set, this one looks reasonable for the device name, but I tried to change it, actually this does not affect the device name, which is shown in the mobile, at all. and the other one, this does really affect the device name in the mobile phone.***************************************************************I want to make the code clean and use only one global variable to set the device name, how shall I reorganise the code?

Dear Team,we are going to develop an IO module series with digital Inputs/Outputs.
