I understand of course that this is somewhat not the right question, but I would like to know if it is possible to somehow lower the s2-lp transmission/reception frequency to 100 MHz, maybe lower, as part of training and research only, not for commercial purposes. Hello,I have the tiny STUSB4500 kit (EVAL-SCS001V1), the nucleo + GUI for NVM programming, and the STM32G071B-DISCO packaged kit.I plugged the kit (as a port capacities reader) on 3 Dell laptops. According to the ST kit the laptops are:Compatible to USB-PD 2 or 3Able to output 5, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 19-20V @ 15WI have flashed the NVM memory of the tiny STUSB4500 board, modifying the PDO2/3 to 9, 12, 15 and 20V and 0.5/1A + POWER_ONLY_ABOVE_5VUsing theses different configurations, PDO2/3 are never reached and the Vbus is still 5V. Another question I have is: can the STM32G071B-DISCO be used with STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD when both USB-C connectors are used (spy mode)? The kit is not recognized by windows when in spy mode, CubeMonitor don't see any board. Cubemonitor only works when only the white cable is connected and the mechanical door is closed.Regards,Thanks

Hello all,I am using a Teseo-LIV3 module on my board and curious about performance with regards to cold start. The board is 1 oz copper. The trace going to the U.FL is 36 mil wide and is 218 mil in length from the module to connector. There are no traces running under the module, just copper layers: GND,PWR, Bottom. The ground vias are placed pretty much as per the HW manual's reference for designs. Both power into the module and power from the RF antenna supply out use a 47nH inductor and a 47pF capacitor (0402) For the trace to the U.FL, I use an online tool to calculate the trace width and it worked out to 36 mil for the frequency, copper weight and epsilon of the board type. The antenna is a Molex 2066400001 (DK WM21807-ND) . It appears to be quite sufficient in gain and bandwidth to handle the common GNSS bands. 1/4" below the PCB (on standoffs) is a thick aluminum plate so this should be an adequate ground plane.In cold start the module occasionally takes up to 65 secs to acquire

Hello,I am doing a project in which I have to receive bytes via SPI from a U-Blox GNSS receiver, specifically the NEO-M9N. I am using the STM32F0308 Discovery development board.For the NEO-M9N to constantly send information, it must receive a continuous SPI clock.I have tried to implement an SPI communication using block mode and another with interruptions. In both I have obtained the same result, I do not receive data from the GNSS chip.In the case of interruptions mode, I call the function in 'main' for the first time: HAL_SPI_Receive_IT (& hspi1, spiRxDataBuff, 82).In the callback function:void HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback (SPI_HandleTypeDef * hspi) {   HAL_UART_Transmit (& huart2, spiRxDataBuff, 82, HAL_MAX_DELAY);   HAL_SPI_Receive_IT (& hspi1, spiRxDataBuff, 82); }That way I get to transmit the buffer via UART and call the SPI reception function again so that data is constantly received via SPI (supposedly).UART works perfectly. Hello there. Just bought an STEVAL-IDB011V1 for a small beacon pet-project. I dont have Keil or IAR IDE's so I choose a Wise Studio for programming and debugging. I've found that almost every BLE example in STSW-BNRGLP-DK has a Wise Studio project files exept one: BLE Beacon FreeRTOS. That is the most important example for me, because it combines 2 main topics at the same time: BLE routine and FreeRTOS implementation. Is it possible to get this example (BLE Beacon FreeRTOS) for Wise Studio? I have some difficulties of porting this Example from Keil to a Wise Studio project (I'm missing some dependencies). Thanks!

Hey,Im using the STEVAL-BCN002V1 Along with a nucleo board connected to it.i've imported the example projects into trustudio as i couldnt get them working in stm32ide.The problem im having is im unsure on the process to setup the debugging (after building) , the setup sheet doesnt really go into detail on the process just on how to connect up the two device.im planning on buying the addon for this board as well, but is there a clean process to get the live debugging going on truestudio ?Thankyou,Andreas

Hello,I can't find any example code of flash write or read using LL_drivers, only HAL drivers. I work with Blue NRG and I do have rf_drivers_ll_flash.c with functions that looks like those in rf_drivers_hal_flash.c. But I can't make flash working with LL functions... The only meaningful difference is HAL_Init(), which I can't find any LL drivers equivalent. The other differences are locking the access of the flash during write. Is there something obvious I am missing? (clock init? )Is there some example code using LL drivers for flash? Even MCU different from Blue NRG will be fine, I'll adapt it.Thank you !

I bet mostly everyone who's had their hands on a Nucleo board and an S2LP addon board encountered the lack of support for the CubeIDE integration.So my question is: did anyone get the S2LP-DK or S2LP-SigFox-DK demo projects working with CubeIDE or do I need to move away from the official ST software and install another toolchain (EWARM/MDK-ARM) just so I can get this to work? Hello,I have two custom boards with S2LP cut 3.0, with the same program, but one S2LP can't go in Rx or Tx mode. I tried S2LPPacketHandlerSetTxMode( PN9_TX_MODE ); S2LPCmdStrobeTx(); while(1);I checked the S2LP status ( MC_STATE ), its READY before and LOCK_ST (0x14) after Rx or Tx command. The LOCK_ST is in the S2LPState enum in S2LP_Types.h but it is not mentioned in the datasheet.What does LOCK_ST mean ? Is there a link with STack packet mode (i use this config) ?What could bring the S2LP in this mode ? (I tried sabort command and go in tx again).Thanks.

Hi, I have two S2- LP modul ( Radiocontrolli ) and I would like to test these but I can't start the communication. I use Microchip microcontrollers, the SPI communication is working, TX command OK, I get the nIRQ on GPIO1 ( TX data sent ) , and get back to Ready mode with SABORT command, but it seems the Receiver no response?! I don't know exactly what is the good way for transmitting?! Before TX command I set PCKTLEN0 as well and I load the data to 0xFF Register. I attached the setting file. I use these settings at both side ( TX, RX ).

Hi,To measure distance between two bluenrg module using rssi value.The two devices are loaded with BLE_Beacon example with different public address and few scanning functions are included.Both the device advertising data can be seen in ST Ble APP in the mobile.But at the device side,to scan and read the rssi value,the "hci_le_advertising_report_event()" event function is not invoked during scanning.Advertising is working ,but scanning is not work at device side.Board:STEVAL-BCN002V1B - (BlueTile)Thanks in advance.

I am currently using BLUENRG-M2SP Nucleo expansion board and STM32L476 Nucleo board. When I execute the aci_gap_start_observation_proc function, I get a 0x46 (BLE_STATUS_NOT_ALLOWED) error.Do I need to make any special settings when executing the function? Or, in BLUENRG-M2SP, the function cannot be executed. Please let us know the opinions of those who have used BLUE NRG-M2SP before.

Dear Sir,I kindly ask you what is the quiescent current value of the driver with EN=HIGH (chip enable) and Vs up to 24V; into the datasheet at page 8/14 is written 2mA max @ Vs<=14V, what should be the maximum value with Vs equal 24V?On page 10/14 is written:"Enable ’low’ switches the device into the sleep mode. In this mode the quiescent current is less than 10 mA." but at page 8/14 seems max 10uA (micro) so may be a typo on page 10?Also I kindly request the quiescent current with EN=LOW also with Vs up to 24V.By powering the chip at 24V what shoud be the power dissipated by the chip regarding the internal regulator? This is important in order to define the exact power dissipated and maximum ambient temperature also related to this aspect.Thanks and best regards.F.

Is it possible to use the BlueNRG API to have a automatic characteric broadcasting? Currently I do this manually by calling the functionaci_gatt_update_char_value()for the corresponding characteristic but that's kinda cumbersome. Does the stack provide an automatic approach for this problem?

Hi,we made a board with the same components as the ST75MM demoboard, but we have a strange behavoir. Without signal on the IN+ of PA, we have a saturation (square wave) at the output of PA. Is there anyone who can help us understand why there is this problem?Thanks

Hello,I am currently facing an issue while interfacing through SPI from a TI RM46 Hercules lockstep processor to the M41t94 RTC. The issue is that no matter what data or settings I send to the RTC, through an oscilloscope it just shows the in/output to be high. I have tried many different combinations of settings and nothing seems to work. I am thinking that there is some type of mode that I have to get out of, but I am not quite sure.Thank you,Andrew

Hi, I'm doing the development of the bluetooth communication between two bluenrg-2n devices. The bluenrg-2n are connected with stm32f405 through SPI. The two custom boards(GATT Client and Server) are identical. Now I have the problem when receiving data at GATT Client.​I can currently successfully send data at GATT Server as property "notification"and the data can be read at APP "BLE Scanner". Then I try to receive it at GATT Client. After successfully established the connection I use the function "aci_gatt_disc_char_by_uuid" to find the characteristics, which return with status "BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS". But after that I can't get the characteristics value and the codes cannot go into the callback functions, such as "aci_gatt_disc_read_char_by_uuid_resp_event", "aci_gatt_notification_event"... I have read the codes of X-Cube_BLE2 "Central" and "SampleApp", but it seems like that, what I have done is nothing different from the codes in X-Cube-BLE2.​My confuse is, where did I make it wrong o

So, is there any solution existing to connect my own sensor with I2C bus to this board ?My "sensor" is a 15bits adc converter. I would like to send the values of the adc on the io-link bus.Do you know if it's possible ?Thanks !!

We are using STKNX DC-DC (12V) output for controlling relay.DC-DC output goes down to 4V after some time without any operation on KNX bus.Please suggest the solution.
