I have a BlueNRG2 firmware that includes critical application level encryption keys. It is flashed using the bootloader. If I activate the flash readout protection using the bootloader commands (0x82), is the flash protected from readout through SWD as well?

I can't connect to STM32H7B3I on SEGGER or using JLink. Resetting option bytes on JLinkSTM32 fails. If there is somehow irreparable damage, could that have been due to me programming high or low frequencies (1-400 MHz) in the RCC? If not, what could be the cause?

Hi, I'm currently designing a USB sink ( kind of electronic load to test a power bank). I will connect to the power bank using type C to type C cable to my tester load. Using a master MCU STM32H7XX, I'm planning to control the PDO selection 5V/3A , 9V/3A etc.. up to 20V/ 5A . The question is can STUSB4500 support up to 20V/5A. Datasheet mentioned 20V 1A as the limit. I saw a reference design saying we can sink up to 100W , STREF-SCS001V1 ( but not officially released) Please suggest..

I use S2LP at 433 MHz with proprietary narrowband protocol. Crystal 25 MHz 10 ppm XRCGB25M000F1H02R0 from Murata; capacitors 18 pF. Devices operate OK if ambient temperature is positive. When I put them into freezer they stop responding to the base station. Devices are temperature dataloggers. While being in freezer, they continue to log temperatures, and we can see that microcontroller works OK down to -17 C. But S2LP stops responding at temperatures around 0 C. I suspect that S2LP oscillator does not start if it is cold. Did anyone experienced similar problems?

The STUSB4500 and STUSB4500L are similar in nature, however the NVM config for the STUSB4500 is not compatible with the STUSB4500L. Is there a way to identify the part number via the I2C bus? The Device ID Register returns 0x9C for both the STUSB4500 and the STUSB4500L.

Hello,I tried to upgrade STSW-STUSB002 V1.09 (early 2019) which works well with STUSB4500 chips, but doesn't with 4500L ones! Not same register mapping?..I installed STSW-STUSB002 V1.11 (early 2020) but no more "SINK PARAMETERS" on the GUI.Do I miss something on V1.11 installation?Please let me know: NVM settings of 4500 chips DON'T WORK with 4500L ones!Thank you.Regards.

Hello I'm in the development of the bluetooth communication between two bluenrg-2n devices. The bluenrg-2n are connected with stm32f405 through SPI. I'm not new in stm development but new in bluetooth communication. I've already done the init process of µC and bluenrg-2n. Now I'm little confused, whether I should care about the bluetooth process of bluenrg-2n, such as scanning, connection and pairing. If i should, which functions I should use? If not, how should I establish the connection and configure the device which I want to send data or receive data? Are there some references or manual I can refer to?Thanks,Qiyuan

Can I interface these two boards?Can I program X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 without a Nucleo board? I have checked the BLE examples and the documentation provided by ST, but I couldn't find anything related to 6loWPAN over Bluetooth.So is it possible to implement 6loWPAN communication over the BlueNRG-M2 BLE module? Does Bluetooth chip (BlueNRG-2 system-on-chip) support the 6loWPAN? If the answer is yes, where can I find the related document and tools?Best Regards

I have configured the GPIO for I2C1(Alternate function 4) and enabled the Clock for I2C1. After that I am trying to enable the ACK. but not able to enable that.. What are the power levels for the different settings when calling aci_hal_set_tx_power_level()? All I can find for sure is a max power level of +8 dBm in the datasheet. Other tables I find in the BlueNRG-1_2 DK documentation give conflicting answers and none mention the En_High_Power parameter.This question was asked before here: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkfpySAB/which-parameters-are-suitable-for-acihalsettxpowerlevel-with-spbtlerf-but for a different chip. I have a simple project I am trying to implement using BLUENRG2-M2SA. It will connect with a user over BT and download a timer length. Then it will run the timer and blink lights when the timer counts to zero. The user then acknowledges the lights and the timer starts again. It does the cycle a set number of times. Or goes to sleep if the timer isn't acknowledged after a certain period of timeI have a button connected to the reset pin to wake up the device, but was hoping to use the same button to acknowledge the timer. If the device is awake, can a signal on the reset pin trigger a different action in the micro? Or do I need two buttons? One for wake-up and one for user acknowledgement?Code hasn't been written yet - I am trying to lay out the PCB.

Hello,I'm developing a board with the BlueNRG-M2 module. I'm also using an ST-LINK V3 with uVision to debug/program. I'm also using the VCP made available by the ST-LINK V3 for some good old fashioned printf telemetry. The VCP is connected through the STDC14 connector to the ST-LINK V3. When I use the VCP (specifically once I start PuTTY), I get a voltage on the VDD rail of the board of around 2.4V without the boards normal power source active. I wired up some flywires to a 2x7 connector and found that there is 3.3V potential between VCP_TX and VCP_RX and ground when the debugger is connected to USB. The voltage is present when using both a V3 MINI and a V3 SET (no isolation board). Schematic is attached. TX and RX are connected to the module, the STDC14 and the pin header and nothing else. I'm also lead to believe by the BlueNRG-M2 datasheet that there isn't anything going on inside the module either.Questions:Is this normal?To combat this could I put some blocking diodes on the TX an

Trying to build a 433 MHz sniffer based on SDK example "SDK_Sniff_B.c". Im sniffing messages from TPMS sensor and get them on my PC with RTL-SDR. In the message parsed on PC I can read ID of sensor which goes right after sync word. With the help of URH I got signal parameters: frequency, datarate, deviation. I managed to get the message on my S2-LP, but I always find extra bits in this message. For example if I received 0x5955955A which is 0b01011001_01010101_10010101_01011010 this is manchester encoded sensor ID. On S2-LP I get 0x595ACAAD which is 0b01011001_01011010_11001010_10101101. Everything right except one extra bit. And further I find some more wrong bits in the message.If I change physical parameters I get garbage in the message.How can I get rid of this extra bits? How can I debug this?

My main problem is to reduce the power consumption of the HC-05 Bluetooth module. As it may be known, such a module consumes lower and lower energy when it is in the AT Command Mode (between 1.5 and 3 mA current). Since my project requires sending real time data that change every 15seconds, I want to keep the module in the AT command mode in the 15seconds that the HC-05 don't receive any data. I obviously believe that this kind of idea/solution will dramatically save the energy of the module. In other words, instead of keeping the module in data mode permanently, it will be set in data mode during 15seconds, and in AT command mode during 15seconds, after that it returns to the data mode and still 15seconds etc... I want to know is there any solution for that ? For example writing a bunch of C code (since my Hc-05 is directly connected to an STM32 board) to pass for the AT commande mode every 15seconds Thanks in advance.
