Hi ST community! I have been using BlueNRG for the next version of product in our company. I have a problem with pairing this module with phone. Once I paired with device, they are supposed to be connected even after phone restarts, but it is not the case with current SDK. Could you please guide me on this? I am using Keil and BlueNRG SDK for it. Thank you.

I am in the process of migrating from spirit1 to S2LP, I am stuck in the calibration of the frequency, before in spirit 1 it is mentioned in the datasheet of spirit1 via equation 3 fc=fbase+foffset+(fxo/2^15  ×CHSPACE)×CHNUMOn the other hand in the S2LP datasheet in equation 6 it's mentionned => fc=fbase+(fxo/2^15  ×CHSPACE)×CHNUMSo I want to know where is the foffset on the S2LP equation 6

Hi,Three weeks earlier, I connected for the first time my STEVAL-FKI868V2 to the Sigfox backend and used the S2-LP_SigFox_DK-GUI (v.1.7.0) tool to send test messages to this Sigfox backend. Everything worked perfectly.Now since 6 days I try again to send test messages with this tool, but nothing is received on the backend.What I already tested:See if the token was still valid (-> yes it was).Try to send a message by command line and by pressing the button, as proposed with the tool (-> error returned but still no message on the backend)See if the SPI communication was working with the S2-LP (-> yes it was)See if the power supply voltages were good (-> yes they were)Contact the Sigfox operator in my country (-> it's not a connexion problem)Try to send a message in different places (-> still no message on the backend)I don't know what to do, where the mistake can be, and if this problem has already appeared to other people.I hope someone here can help me.Laurent

I'm using a X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 shield on a NUCLEO-L476RG board.I am able to advertise 16-bits and 32-bits services using aci_gap_update_adv_data(), but trying with a 128-bits service always ends up with a "BAD PARAMETER" error. What am I missing? (I'm calling aci_gap_update_adv_data() with a single AD_TYPE_128_BIT_SERV_UUID_CMPLT_LIST command).

Good morning,I have been struggling with a custom board that contains the Teseo liv3F. When debugging the module with Teseo suite pro, i can see good signal levels from 3 GPS satellites but the Fix Mode is set to NO FIX and the Lat = Long = 0.How can I get a valid position from 3 sats ?

1.In my schematics, my RF section is designed without Capacitors placed(open) , is capacitor need to be added, what capacitor value would you prefer .!2.Is we need to initialize and config for setting parameters in TESEO-LIV3F for GPRMC and GPGLL.Please let me know about your feedback. A call to the GATT Update function aci_gatt_update_char_value gives me the return value 0x20 which is not defined in bluenrg_def.h - so what does it mean? The update fails.

I'm looking to port a prototype from an STM32WB55 Nucleo board/custom daughter board combo to a single custom board using an STM32WB5MM module. I've done some digging but can't find a recommended footprint for this module. Does anybody know if one exists from ST?Cheers,Roger

I'm working on a custom board with a BLUENRG-2. I'm able to flash and erase with the UART and the SWD pins, but none of the programs work. When I debug it step by step, I find out that all programs hang on this line, when it writes on the BLUE_CTRL register:  Anyone knows what could be causing this issue?

I'm trying to use a KSZ8863 Ethernet PHY with the STM32F746G. We have used the RMII interface to connect with KSZ8863 and running at 50MHz frequency .RMII pins are connected to KSZ8863 based on MAC mode interface.To test the KSZ8863 ,We have used stm32 LwIP example code,First I trying to read the value from config registersI have changed the PHY address and SMI interface frames based on KSZ8863 datasheetbut I couldn't read the value from config registers.Please suggest me,if there is any reference to interface Ksz8863Please help me in this issue

hi all i am using blenrg2 m2sp chip as network mode. its operating as peripheral device and communicating with host controller through UART with 115200 baud rate .I received BLE read characteristic request , i did not response till 1 second after that i getting some junk data , after that ble got disconnected . may know the reason . here attached logic analyzer images

Hi!I am designing my own sigfox board using S2LPTX module, some sensors and a ST microcontroller. Microcontroller and sensors are working on 1.8 V supply. I know that S2LPTX module can work with VBAT = 1.8 V, but in section 3.2 it mentions VBAT should be at 2 V minimum for it to work in boost mode.Often is the case, that a common supply source VBAT is used for VDDSMPS (pin 1), VDDVCOTX (pin 10) and VDDDIG (pin 15). Since in my design, microcontroller and sensors are working with 1.8 V supply, I would like to use two supply rails for S2LPTX module. 1.8 V - 3.6 V rail for VDDSMPS (pin 1) and VDDVCOTX (pin 10), and a fixed 1.8 V rail for VDDDIG (pin 15). Is this possible/allowed?Shortly speaking, can i use S2LPTX sigfox transmitter with variable 1.8 V - 3.6 V rail for VDDSMPS (pin 1) and VDDVCOTX (pin 10), and a fixed 1.8 V rail for VDDDIG (pin 15)?Kind regards,Gayas

I have BLUENRG-LP chip on my custom board and I'd like to flash beacon example inside. Hi!I have S2-LP connected to S2-LP GUI (only difference - it has no EEPROM on board, so I recompiled CLI firmware with EEPROM_NO define, and it has quartz running at 25MHz). I have to receive packets with 30-50kpbs datarate, but I made slower packets for testing.If I try Running RSSI for OOK or ASK modulation, I get the following: https://prnt.sc/131we39. RSSI level on graph can raise, but cannot lower, it stale at maximum level S2-LP seen in session. If I press Stop then Start again - it starts from noise level again.Second problem - I cannot get it working with OOK modulation. It breaks packets with 'silence' periods. Hello everyone, I would like to know how to read data from pin on STM32F4. I have a small project where I am blinking led (it's running throw Arduino board) and I would like to see throw STM32F4 when it's on and when it isn't. How should I setup pin? GPIO_INPUT or GPIO_ANALOG? I am new to programming so I am sorry for my question. I would like to create something like a simple logic analyzer so I could see in debug the logic of led. I would like to have something whats on the picture I attached. Thanks for any help.

Sorry, but this is not really a question as much as some interesting information.Until yesterday all of my ST applications were working perfectly on a Debian v10.9 installation. Then I started getting this message....../STM32_Programmer_CLI: symbol lookup error: ./STM32_Programmer_CLI: undefined symbol: libusb_get_port_numberand some other very similar messages regarding libusb and libgusb. The ST-Link connects without issues, hardware-wise, but when the CubeProgrammer app is running, a click on the "Connect" button with ST-Link as the connection type results in the app closing immediately with the message above. Any other choice of communication just results in no connection but the 'st_link' choice is the killer. But, on the other hand, I can log into the st_link for firmware upgrades and that function works perfectly. There was some other odd machine-wide USB behavior in addition to the CubeProgrammer issue. There is also no connection to the st-link in the CubeIDE app. Spent hours

However, For similar level translator device like "54AC164245", there is an explicit requirement of sequencing of 3.3V and 5.0V . Please confirm and clarify.Then datasheet of device "54VCXH163245" says VCCA must be higher or equal to VCCB, but for "54AC164245 ", the requirement is exactly reverse(VDD1 (VCCB) must be higher than or equal to VDD2 (VCCA)). Kindly clarify.Also is it ok to tie unused ports of "54VCXH163245" device to VSS(GND)?

As i am new to building my own Microcontroller shield , i want some help ! I want to achieve a high speed USB connection with PC to transfer data from micro controller to PC . Now Do i need a external peripheral with the micro to get the HS connection? HS connection seems to have a lot of pins. The micro controller i am using is STM32H755BIT3 ! Thanks

Hey there community, I am trying to set up a active NFCIP-1 communication between two ST25R3911B chips (X-Nucleo-NFC05A1 Board).I was able to get the communication running without the library (because I can not use it in the following project), in about 50% of the cases the communication just worked fine. But in the other half an additional "one" is added to the frame, which shifts the entire frame to the right and cause a not reversible data corruption.The 0xF0 startbyte become 0xF8 and so on. A simple left shift over the entire frame does not restore the data properly.I think the problem is on the target side, but can also be wrong. Does anyone get the same issue and may give me an advice to fix it?The target function runs as a state machine which is called periodically, the initiator function is called with a 1s delay between. Hello We're using BlueNRG-2 VTimer to be RTC for wake-up the system when it's in sleeping mode.when we set the timer 10mins, it still wake-up the the system every 15 sec.HAL_VTimerStart_ms(0, 600000);But I don't turn on the other timer such as 1 or 2 or 3 HAL_VTimer_Stop(1);HAL_VTimer_Stop(2);HAL_VTimer_Stop(3);the callback function still return the interrupt source is from timer 2.HAL_VTimerTimeoutCallback();is it possible? how do I solve this issue?it increases whole the power consumption for nothing..Elliott
