I'm using stm32l476jgy6 MCU, it has 3 SPI busses, I'm using all of 3 SPI busses for different peripherals. If peripheral on SPI1 fails to communicate with MCU, will it cause any effect on other SPI busses? I've a scenario where I'm using BLUENRG-MS on SPI1, lsm6dsm and lsm303agr sensors on SPI2, external SPI flash on SPI3. all of these peripherals are not working, but when lsm303agr removed from the board, rest of the components started communicating to MCU. there is no code blockage, controller is running continuously. I'm using Sensor tile as a base hardware design, ALLMEMS as a base firmware.Need help understanding the issueThanks

Hi.I am working on the BlueNRG-M2SP Bluetooth chip, It operates a slave and host acts as a Master. Here master is mobile app, When the chip connects to mobile app, The mobile app status shows the "CONNECTED", When any event sent to BLE module, If the BLE module doesn't send the data. The mobile app status shows "DISCONNECT". But the BLE module is still connected to Mobile app. If we connect once again it will not connect to BLE module.Please can anyone solve the above problem.

My general understanding is that the BLE standard supports characteristics with a lenght of up to 512 bytes. I'm using the BlueNRG-MS chip from STM but there the function call to add a characteristic has a uint8_t value for the length parametertBleStatus aci_gatt_add_char(uint16_t serviceHandle, uint8_t charUuidType, const uint8_t* charUuid, uint8_t charValueLen, uint8_t charProperties, uint8_t secPermissions, uint8_t gattEvtMask, uint8_t encryKeySize, uint8_t isVariable, uint16_t* charHandle);So this would allow only a maximum characteristic length of 255 bytes. According to this document the stack itself supports 2 bytes with FW 7.2 or higher. I have 7.23 so this should be fine but I cannot find any reference or example of a BlueNRG-MS middleware that would support a call withcharValueLenof typeuint16_t. I also downloaded the latest STSW-BLUENRG-DK and the examples also only supportuint8_t charValueLen.

Hi alli am using blenrg2 m2sp chip as network mode. its operating as peripheral device and communicating with host controller through UART with 115200 baud rate .I received BLE read characteristic request , i did not response till 1 second after that i getting some junk data , after that ble got disconnected . may know the reason . here attached logic analyzer

Hi,I have a project with BlueNRG-M2SP and I want to use it in custom PCB with X-CUBE-BLE2 lib.When I add this software pack to Cube MX, it make my other spi and quadspi bus down. Also, the ble spi line seems to not work at the same way : there is no clock signal on any bus. I use Basic HCI_TL and UserBoard HCI_TL_INTERFACE with controller and utils. What's the best way to include X CUBE BLE2 in existant project without disabling the other communication buses. I have also another spi ic in the same bus as BlueNRG-M2SP but they are not supposed to work at the same time.Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad englishAxel

HI all I am using blurenrg2 m2spa blue tooth chip . Its operates as a network mode . it communicating with host controller through UART 115200 baud rate . here i configured chip as peripheral role and st ble sensor app acts as a central device , when i mobile ble adapter is disable and enable , its failing advertise and even the sensor app forcefully crashes its failing adverting. how to resolve this issue , when i do normal connect and disconnect its working fine . i used the below api , check link status aci_hal_get_link_status () after app crashing and ble mobile adapter disabled , its always give the information , its connected as slave role . can any one suggest how to solve this issue .

I´m using the STEVAL-IDB008V1M board, and the BLE_Throughput example code provided for it.I would like to increase the throughput in this example, how can that be accomplished?I have tried a lot of different things to accomplish this, but still in the aci_gatt_notification_event() I can´t get bigger packets than 20 bytes.-I have tried changing the config file to use BLE_STACK_FULL_CONFIGURATION instead of the original BLE_STACK_BASIC_CONFIGURATION.-I have tried explicitly calling the hci_le_set_data_length() function.-I have tried many other things also.I also tried using the BLE_Throughput_EXT, which should enable bigger packet size by default. But the same problem occurs there. In aci_gatt_notification_event(), the variable Attribute_Value_Length is just 20 bytes.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish higher throughput using the BLE_Throughput example?

In order to keep track of the Time of Day I would like to implement a time tick.None of the timers run (other than the virtual timer) when the bluetooth module goes into low power mode. I would like the CPU to only wake up when there is an external event or one of the virtual timers expire. Hi,I have a NUCLEO- F401RE board with the X- NUCLEO-S2868A2 expansion shell and i want to test the examples, provide by ST, that the X-NUCLEO-SUBG2 folder contain.I import the border router and both of the udp's projects to see how they works (one by one of course) and in every of it i have the same errors. Hi,I am planning to make subGHz Border router by using Contiki border router example. For Internet, I would like to integrate the Wifi, GSM and Ethernet. I don't want to use Rpi or Beagle bone. I am planning to use STm32 and make my own IPV6 Internet router. Is there any design notes available? I am going to integrate subGHz radio to main STM32 with SPI for receiving the IpV6 UDP packets. Extract the data. Connect to internet using GSM/wifi/ethernet. prepare the Json and send it to cloud using MQTT. Is my understanding is correct?Any suggestions.

Hi,I started importing X-CUBE-SUBG2 software in to STM32cubeIDE 1.6.0. I am getting lot of errors when I compiled for Nucleo-F401re. Binaries works as explained in user manual. But, whenever I import the project, I am getting errors. It looks like tools issue. Any idea?Naveen

We've measured the start-up current on BlueNRG1 at around 4mA for 60mS. We've been exploring the cold_start_config and we think the biggest part of the delay is HS oscillator settling time. I believe a few hundred uS is typical for XTAL startup For a low power device this is a huge current_x_time product, at least compared to the average current once settled into a low duty cycle operational mode. If we disable cold_start_config completely the time is reduced to 2.3mS. Can anyone advise on if/ how to reduce this initialisation current / time please? Many thanks!

I am evaluating the STUSB1602 in combination with a STMF103 in a dual-role port, UFB (usb-device) application. In source mode, the device should provide type-c current 5V 3A or 5V 1,5A. Do I have to connect the BMC interface to advertise power sourcing ability?Unfortunately, the datasheet is not clear to me about the BMC interface. In addition to my main question, if I do need the BMC interface at all for my application, I can not find any information about the SPI CLOCK frequency the STUSB outputs?Best regards,Jakob
