Hello,I am working on the LIS2DW12 accelerometer, and I need to use the bypass-to-continuous mode for the fifo buffer. The idea is that the accelerometer is in bypass mode when it is inactive and not moving. When the accelerometer is moving and active, it goes into fifo continuous mode. Then the fifo threshold interrupt starts triggering which tells my application to read the fifo.Reading the fifo buffer when there is a threshold interrupt works just fine for what I've done. My problem is I can't figure out how to tie the bypass-to-continuous trigger to an interrupt of choice. I have sleep state configured for my application, so I would preferably have sleep state "active" as the accelerometer's queue to exit bypass mode and start outputting its data to the fifo buffer in continuous mode. Then the accelerometer would revert back to bypass mode when the accelerometer goes to sleep state "inactive." Hello everyone,i have STEAL-STWINKT1 board. It has some sensor on it. I want to see these data live on screen and save these values. I dont need to plot fft. How can i do that without using coding with hal libraries. Thank you

Does anybody know if there is any difference between these two MEMS Microphones. The IMP23ABSU does have some Ultrasonic characteristics, but my understanding is the MEMS mics would have ultrasonic bandwidth anyway.Thanks

Hi, I'm optimizing the decoupling capacitors of the board using PDN analysis with ansys siwave tool.And I need to set the requirement for the IC.Do you have a recommendation for that?For example, the IC needs: 0.1ohms between 0 and 10MHz, then 0.2ohms between 10-20Mhz, and so... Thank you.

Hello Everyone,In STWINKT1B, I need to enable the IIS3ZDWB sensor (vibrometer) and should be able to measure vibration of the given object with my phone via Bluetooth but the ST BLE Sensor Classic app is only showing the environmental parameters.Can anyone help me in this please?

Hi,I bought the STEVAL-STWINKT1B hoping to be able to store and plot real-time data from my accelerometer, both in the time domain and in the frequency domain (performing FFT) for the purpose of developing my project. I bought it thinking that it would provide a more ready-to-use solution to collect this data and analyze it in real-time. Can it really do that with USB streaming? I would like to connect it via USB, give the command to start, continuously store the data, and see the generated graph in real-time, similar to a serial plotter. And when I want to stop, I would give the command to stop. Can someone please help me?Thanks!Best regards,Thales Vignoli

Hi,We confirmed that it is due to vibration sensor (IIS3DWBTR) only because when we removed sensor IC and tested remaining board the consumption was 7.4uA with micro controller (STM32) , memory also. But after placing vibration sensor and making it into sleep mode consumption is 280uA which is very high.

We are juat about to launch the production and sales when we faces a weird problem.Suddenly the accelerometer starts reporting values like 0, 4 and -4, instead of normal values somewhere around 1000 and 0 when not moving the device.In error situation the values don't change even when rotating or shaking the device.Register writes and reads are successful and WHO_AM_I (0x0f) register value matches to 0x33 so there's no address conflict.I tried to fix the problem by resetting the registers to initial values. This didn't fix the problem. Also I tried to assert the BOOT bit of CTRL_REG5, which didn't help either. (I'm not quite sure what that is supposed to do)Powering down the accelerometer is the only thing that helps. Too bad we don't have that possibility in our device. Removing the battery is the only possibility, which can be done only with opening the device using screwdriver.The error i

I have an issue with current consumption of a IIS3DWB using the STEVAL-MKI208V1 kit.I have previously discussed it in this issue, but I've traced (i hope) the issue to the VDDIO pin.I'm using a STM32WB55CEU6 as SPI master.To measure current I'm using the X-Nucleo-LPM01A.When the ISS3DWB is in low-power mode it should use 5-16uA, but I'm measuring ~265uA.Schematic: Measurement of ONLY the STEVAL-kit VDD-pin (ISS3DWB in Low-power - VDDIO pin connected to MCU VDD): Measurement of the STEVAL-kit VDDIO-pin (ISS3DWB in Low-power - VDD pin connected to MCU VDD):Measurement of STEVAL-kit VDD + VDDIO in low-power-mode I'm not sure I understand why VDDIO is drawing so much current - isn't it supposed to be the SPI voltage reference?Any ideas?Regards

Hello,I am having issues with my acceleration data being output from my LSM303AHTR. I have configured it for 2G Full scale making the "sensitivity" 0.061mg/lsb.I have tested two LSM303AH chips on two of our custom PCBs. I am getting similar results on both chips, but I am not getting the same exact values on both chips.I evaluated all axis at +Gravity, -Gravity, and 0 Gravity. All of the expected 0 Gravity values are being seen, however, I am getting less than 90 degrees for positive and negative 1G positions.My method for obtaining degrees from counts follows. I believe it is correct because it works for other projects' accelerometers:Register Value * Sensitivity = mgG = mg*1000arcsin(G)We can abstract out my method for obtaining degrees and just focus on counts. The issue still remains. When I am reading an axis that has full gravity exposure, I should be getting +/- 16,383 counts.For X +1G I am getting -16,900 counts, which converts to 90 degrees, but this is slightly off scale.For

I would like to calibrate 2 magnetic sensors concurrently with MotionMC library. However, the functions from the library  for MotionMC_Initialize,  MotionMC_Update and MotionMC_GetCalParams do not need inputting an ID. If calibrate 2 sensors in the same time or power cycle,  whether will HI_Bias[3] and SF_Matrix[3][3] coefficients be overwritten?I do appreciate any idea for calibrating 2 magnetic sensors in same time with MotionMC library.Qingshan

Hello,Overview: STM32F4 talks to an ISM330DLC (SPI serial interface) using the ST library. (https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/hal_st/blob/master/sensor/stmemsc/ism330dlc_STdC/driver/ism330dlc_reg.c)Problem: I have 5 boards, device at zero level, 4 of the boards output an angular rate X dps around 0.5 dps and 1 of the board output an angular rate X dps between 3 dps and 4 dps. Datasheet says angular rate zero level should be within +/- 2 dps. Hello all,I am using LIS2DW12 accelerometer for single-tap and double-tap detection. I also want to use the wake-up interrupt simultaneously, but when both these interrupts are enabled, double-tap and single-tap are occasionally missed because both the wake-up interrupt and tap interrupts are routed to the same pin(INT1) and the wake-up threshold is low.Is  there any way in which I can route either the tap interrupt or the wake up interrupt to INT2 pin ?I am aware that we can route INT2 interrupts to INT1 but can it be done the other way around?Thank You

Hi all,I would like to send sensortile.box data over BLE to my application, what is the best project from which I should start?

I am trying to run the default BLESensors application that comes with FP-SNS-STBOX1 but getting errors with the out of the box application code.The application compiles and loads to the STWinBx fine, but as soon as you click on "Environmental" in the iPhone app I get an error:  "Error at 238 at ...../STWIN.box/Applications/BLESensors/Src/BLE_Implementation.c"It's the call to HAL_TIM_OC_Start_IT that fails.  My debugging has been unsuccessful so far.  The first time static void NotifyEventEnv(BLE_NotifyEvent_t Event) executes it is successful, but it immediately runs again and fails.I didn't change any of the ST code and have spent an embarrassingly long time trying to figure it out with no luck.  Any debugging tips would be greatly appreciated.One last note:  On the iPhone ST BLE Sensor App v5.0.0 build 170 I get the error, but running the iPhone ST BLE Sensor Classic v4.20.0 it successfully shows the environmental information.  iPhone app issue?

I recently received the STEVAL-STWINBX1 and plugged it in out of the box and it worked fine.  There was a firmware update which I did successfully. Next, I downloaded FP-SNS-STBOX1 v1.5.0 to test it out.  As per the readme I imported the "STM32CubeFunctionPack_STBOX1_V1.5.0\Projects\STWIN.box\Applications\BLESensors" into STM32CubeIDE and built the application in release mode.  Following UM2965 I programmed the binary via USB DFU mode.  It programs successfully but when I go to use the ST BLE Sensor app on my iPhone it can see the STWinBX device but fails with a "Cannot connect with the device: STWinBX" error message.In the iPhone ST BLE Sensor application I noticed that it still reports the default firmware on Bank 2.....it doesn't seem to show the new BLESensors app.  Screenshot and programming log attached for reference.Any troubleshooting tips?  I didn't change anything in the BLESensors app, just imported, compiled, and programmed.  Don

Greetings all,Just received a STEVAL-STWINBX1 multisensor evaluation board and I was able to connect to it through STMCube32Programmer (Win64 version) and am trying to see the real-time sensor data from the iOS app (ST BLE Sensor v5.0.0 on iOS 16.5.1). The board paired fine with my phone and was even able to get a firmware update (board firmware is now STBOX1_BLEDefaultFw v1.5.0 on Bank 2, HAL 1.1.0_0) but no sensor data comes through at all on either the "Environmental" or "Plot Data" sections. Any suggestions? I don't see any other items I can configure.

Hello, We want to operate the LPS22HB pressure sensor with the i2c protocol. The pin legs of the sensor are connected to the SCL - SDA 4.7k ohm pull-up resistors. Sa0/GND   Csi / 3.3  RES / GND. This is how connections are made. This way we can't get data from the sensor. What is the reason of this?
