Dear STMicroelectronics Community, I am an electronics engineer seeking for technical help. My problem is that I want to reverse engineer an old STi7101 CPU based Set Top Box with HDMI output or say it less complicated, a Dish Antenna Receiver Box. My problem is that I need an Board Support Package for STi7101 board. I already had look for the datasheet of STi7101, and there is written that the CPU supports Windows CE. My plan is to run Windows CE on the box. Is there a way to make it work? Thank you.

I've got a problem with MCU Selection not showing any options.Tried Reinstalling whole program also reinstalling Cosmic, I've got a working license for Cosmic also. Also with my professor we tried copying all files from his computer where it is working without problems (we are working both on windows 11). After that we used Revo Uninstaller to try and download both ST Developer Studio and Cosmic again but that didn't fix anything.We've run out of ideas why it isn't working. Even after connecting STM8S208RB and trying while it is connected didn't do anything.

Hello STM Support Team, I am currently using the ADC1283 to acquire analog data with the PIC32MZ2048EFH100 microcontroller via SPI. I have verified that the MCU’s SPI module works correctly when tested independently. However, when interfacing with the ADC1283, the device is not returning valid conversion data and consistently responds with 0xFF. At this point, I am unsure whether the issue is hardware-related or software-related. I am sharing the following for your review: Firmware source files (.C and .H) (I referred one of your example firmware for ADC1283 from any online portal and created logic).  SPI configuration details Schematic diagram logic analyzer waveform. Could you please review them and help identify the root cause of the issue? Our project is currently in the testing phase, so resolving this issue is quite urgent. Hi ST support team,     I'm using STVD version 4.3.12,  no matter create an empty project or open the existing project.  The MCU selection in Project Setting always empty.  But the same STVD installation package works in some other computers.     My computer is 64-bit x64-based processor, running Windows 11 Enterprise Version 24H2.     I tried re-register dao360.dll in administrator CMD, there was a period when it could be resolved, but I'm not sure if it was due to Windows updates or some other reason. Now it's not working anymore. CMD command:Regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\DAO360.DLL"Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\DAO360.DLL" 

When connecting to a charging port with a USB-C to USB-A cable, the device repeatedly switches between charging and not charging.If the STUSB4500 is supposed to support non-PD sources, how should I configure it to ensure stable charging in this scenario? Thanks!

Title edited to note that this relates to a Blue Pill board.Hello everyone,I'm starting a learning journey into the STM32 world, specifically studying the HAL library (my past programming experiences didn't rely on ready-made libraries).Right now (after tinkering with GPIOs, LCD management, etc.) I'm working on the SPI dialogue. I have two STM32F103CBT6A development boards, one configured for "Full Duplex Master" and one for "Full Duplex Slave."When trying to send 10 static bytes (10, 20, 30, 100) from both the master and slave sides using the "HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(&hspi1, TX_Buffer, RX_Buffer, 10)" function, I expect the oscilloscope to see the MOSI line equal to the MISO line without any offsets. This happens for a few seconds after resetting the slave (image 1), but then the bytes on the MISO line shift (image 2). Furthermore (I'm viewing the data received from the slave on an LCD) when this problem occurs, the slave also doesn't receive correctly.After adjusting the codes

Hello,I am unable to setup I2C communication between 2 x STM32F103 blue pill boards. I have pasted code and the hardware setup below. Would appreciate help trying to pinpoint the problem. Hardware setup:Both boards are connected to an adapter via an ST-LINK V2 with SWCLK, SWDIO, GND, and 3.3V connections.SCL pins are connected together (B6 -> B6) and SDA pins are connected together (B7 -> B7)The SCL and SDA pins of the Master STM32 are connected to 3.3V via 4.7kΩ resistors. The GND of Master and Slave are connected together I have probed all the pins and they are at the correct levels so I doubt hardware is the problem (see image attached)Software setup:One thing worth mentioning is that trying to debug the projects through the IDE results in the following message: "Target no device found... I'm doing can-bus work with F103 and having a problem I can't figure out.I'm listening for a specific message, it's on a 20ms interval, and then when that message arrives I right away broadcast a new message using the same id but with different data.  To do this I'm setting a flag inside HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback and then monitor this flag inside the main loop. If the flag is set I'm calling HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage to send a new message and resetting the flag.  This repeats. Now, everything seems to be working most of the time, but at random times, it can be a minute or several minutes or longer, my messages are not sent for a second or few seconds or randomly sent/not sent for few seconds.  Then everything will go back to normal for a while and then it might get "broken" again.  This will repeat. HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage() is always returning OK. HAL_CAN_TxMailbox[0-2]CompleteCallback() are not being called when I notice the failures. There are 3 other n

Starting to prototype a 169Mhz design and looking at the BOM, the IC SKY66121-11 is out of production.  Is there a replacement or can you give me a link to still purchase these ICs? 

STM8S003F3P6 in this there are two timer 1 with Four independent capture/compare channels (CAPCOM) configurable as input capture, output compare, PWM generation (edge and center aligned mode) and single pulse mode output and tim2 has 3 individually configurable capture/compare channels.can i use all seven as simultaneously for PWM?

In the eDesignSuite UHF RFID Link Budget tool, it appears that τ_RX (matching losses from reader to antenna) is not being included in the calculation for P_receive:Note the values I highlighted. According to the arrows in the diagram, the P_receive should be:    P_receive = -31.7dBm - 51.7dB + 6 dBi - 3dB = -80.4dBmBut the power shown in the tool is -77.3dBm, off by about 3dB.Is this a bug in the software, or am I missing something here? I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong.

Hello ST Community, I am using HCF40106YM013TR in one of my products. One channel is configured with an RC timing network at the input, and its output is cascaded to another channel. However, the output is chattering / oscillating near the positive trigger threshold voltage. The RC values and operating conditions are as follows: R = 500 KΩ C = 4.7 µF VCC = 14 V  GND is connected through a series diode for reverse polarity protection The Schematic and output waveform also attached herewith FYR, Wave form 1 : VCC (DSO channel 1) vs Capacitor charging (DSO channel 2). Wave form 2 : Capacitor charging (DSO channel 1) vs HCF 10406 output (DSO channel 2)   Kindly suggest how to obtain a stable and smooth output and whether any changes in RC values, grounding, or protection scheme are required.   Thank you for your support.
