I am building a high voltage fence controller, it requires a IRF820 Mosfet 500V 4A  N-channel. Apparently they are not manufactured anymore, and I can not find one anywhere, when trying to find out a replacement I am hitting brick walls with most people not knowing.The only Mosfet that keeps coming up is IRF830 500V 4.5A, will this be suitable or will it cause issues? we used L99DZ200 for gate driver for running 2ea DC motor at the same time.if there is induce voltage from one motor with H-bridge(FET body diode) due to generating mode by external load(example by hand), and the other motor is connected to other side H-bridge,could the other motor work by that induce voltage which is made by one motor in terms of gate driver?our design circuit is like below picture. 

I'm successfully using vn5e160str's to drive some high current outputs, but it would be useful if I could multi-purpose these outputs to support high frequency PWM. The vn5e160str seems to max out at about 50kHz, and I need a stable 800kHz.The PWMd load is of course only CMOS level voltages/currents but I'm trying to avoid having separate output connectors for high current and pwm modes so a single device/circuitry would be idea.Can anyone recommend a suitable similar component that can facilitate this? Cheers

Good Morning,I am the proud possessor of a Nucelo 746ZG board that has served me well since it has been given to me.Unfortunately for ther last week the Nucleo has a text file with inside the string "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU", the red led LD5 is on (over-current allarm, according to the manual) and there neither way to copy a file on it nor to make the CUBE program connect to it (long story short: if anything does not come on, I have smoked it).I really like this type of board, with support for ADC/DAC/PWM and that have the possiblity to use Ethernet/USB Host and a lot of perypherals. But from the 2019 I believe the World has probably keep evolving and so there could be more interesting board which can replace my loved one. ST sent me a mail informing there are sales until 24/11.What could be an interesting board to substitute the F746ZG one with?Thank you a lot for your time and your suggestions,Marco M.

Hello, What is the VIL(Low Level Input) voltage of the IC M74HC14YTTR provided VCC voltage 3.3V?The datasheet specifies the VCC voltage levels of 2.0V, 4.5V, 6.0V. We have used the VCC as 3.3V. 

Hi everyone,I'm going to realize a power supply with multiple isolated output for low power audio applications (like preamp, guitar effects...). As voltage regulator I chose the L7809 but in the datasheet there's a note saying "Minimum load current for regulation is 5 mA" (see the attachment).The problem is that some circuits that I have to supply required less than 5mA.So, I wonder: what's going on if some loads are less than 5mA? Can I have stability problems? It would be better if I ensure a minimum load of 5mA per output?Thanks for any support

Hello, I want to design the SMPS (Isolated fly back with opto coupler) have output of 10V and 1.5A (i.e 15W) with constant voltage (CV) and constant  current (CC) with input range 90V to 265V, 50Hz, i selected VIPER35HD chip for this design with eDesignSuite, but not able to added the CV/CC in the design input specification, because we need CC to charge the Li-Ion battery. Can someone help, how i can add the CV/CC in edesignsuite.

Hi,I hope to get clarification by the expert regarding the M99512 EEPROM - SPI connectivity. I recently had the chip together with Microchip AVR128DA64 mcu on a custom board. I found that at 500KHz communication with the eeprom, I can only store maximum 126 bytes per page, unlike mentioned by the data sheet. I have done several test as follows:1. write 128 bytes in single write starting at index 0 of the page - result data stored only 126 bytes from index 0 to 125. Location 126 and 127 data kind of corrupted2. Then, I write 2 bytes data in one write starting at index 126. I managed to read back the data at index 126 and 127. Infact, I can read 126 bytes of the data starting at index 2 to index 127. I found data at index 0 and 1 were corrupted.3. similarly about reading data from multiple pages in 1 read operation. I managed to read maximum 252 bytes of data from only 2 pages, provided that at page 0, I stored data starting at index 2 until index 127 (126 bytes) and at page 1, I stored

I have a machine which have 2 BLDC motors and I need to control it. I'm planning to control the motors by tapping the membrane keypad which already exists in the machine using microcontroller signal. I found the 2 pins that connected to certain button and when I keep pressing the button and checking the continuity, multimeter didn't give a beep sound. When I checked the voltage difference in each pin when I pressed the membrane button one was giving 14V while other pin having 4V. But these voltages didn't fluctuate when I pressed the button, but the button function keeps working which means the button membrane should be working fine. Is there a way to mimic the button press using a microcontroller or I need to know an alternative way to control 2 BLDC motors which are 12V and 15A rated current.

I have a part LSM303DTR Accelerometer 3D Magnetometer that has an MSL rating of 3. This part was not baked out prior to installation on the PWA. What harm will this do to the component? If it passes testing, is it safe to use to go into space with (i.e. no latent failure possibility)?Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm very new to the ST forum however I thought it was a great idea to try and share my research here.I am following the design of an IoT sensor where solar power will be needed.We are looking for an IC with an MPPT algorithm that allows us to directly take the voltage resulting from the solar cells as input and autonomously charge a single cell battery.With a digital BUS we would like to access supervision data such as battery status and remaining charge.We are looking for a complete IC solution as we have no experience in the design of this kind of power systems and we need a high operating guarantee.The maximum current used by the load is of the order of less than one ampere.Any advice or suggestions are welcome at this stage.Thanks in advance

Hi all, I am currently working to interface a 16x2 LCD(LM016L) display with STM32F103C8 through MCP4725. The problem I am facing is that while comparing a similar work I could not find the relevant libraries. I am also new to STM32IDE so I might not know them. The libraries required are to use I2C functions and the second one is to for the LCD library. Another problem I am facing is how to define pins in the already initialized code without changing anything in STM32MX I want to be able to define pins after I have generated the code .While searching, the majority of the codes found were in Arduino and not in STM32, so is there any study material or videos that you could recommend to understand STM32IDE better (Arduino is not working on my PC due to some error).The link to the sample project I got: https://circuitdigest.com/microcontroller-projects/how-to-use-dac-in-stm32f10c8I have also attached the pin configuration up to how much I could understand.
