How to flash a binary file to the microcontroller with script only ie without STM32Cube IDE & Stm32cube programmer. Please provide a detailed script to flash a given binary saved at a known location

Hello I am trying to implement a bare metal SPI connection between the STM32U585 and the on board EMW3080 WLAN module on the B-U585I-IOT02A. Currently I am having trouble as when I set the GPIO pin that is connected to the enable reset(should be active low from my research) pin that is on the EMW3080 high, neither of the GPIO inputs I configured to take in the FLOW and NOTIFY signals from the EMW3080 go high.  I am attaching my current code to this post along the Tera Term UART output that occurs when I run the code. If anyone could be able to provide any insight to why the WLAN module is not responding over FLOW/NOTIFY I would appreciate it, I have already tried using the wifi firmware update multiple times and am struggling to see what I am doing wrong as I am new to this type of coding. Initialization issues, i2c communication with ccs811(air quality indicator module) using stm32u083cc mounted/swapped on stm32f411(blackpill) board. Only the hdc1080(RH/Temp) board connected on the same lines works. Strangely, with stm32f411ce mounted on blackpill the same code works w/o any issues and I could read data from hdc1080 and well as ccs811. In both the cases the initialization code was generated by stm32cubeMX. The code generated for 32f411 makes sense. The i2c init code generated for 32f411 in -MX is very different from 32u083. Tried changing rise/fall time, digital filter coeff(0-15), enabling/disabling analog filter/no-stretch.

Hello Community,I’m currently working with an STM32G4 MCU and the BQ7697202 BMS IC, and I’m trying to establish basic I2C communication between the two. According to the BMS IC datasheet, I’ve configured the I2C address correctly, but I’m still unable to detect the IC on the bus.Additionally, I implemented an I2C scan to search for available devices, but the scan returns “No device found.” Please find the attached I2C configurations for the reference.  Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you! 

Hi, Printf debugging is a useful tool for software development and it is also a simple way of providing logging functions using a program like TeraTerm. However using printf with a blocking uart driver is very slow at ordinary baud rates such as 115200. For example a message of 29 characters including  a CR and LF takes about 30 ms of uart time and if any floating point vaiables are output the sprintf time can be anywhere from 20 to 150 ms. If you want to debug a loop that runs at 50 Hz with a slack time of 10% the standard blocking printf to uart function is too slow. To get over this problem I wrote a non-blocking  dma function called printfdma that takes the string and variables does the formatting and puts the resultant string on a FreeRTOS queue.  A seperate lower priority task sends the characters to the uart using dma.Instead of using the Berkley stdio.h for the print f and sprint f functions I used the one developed byEyal Rozenberg <eyalroz1@gmx.com

Hi,I have a setup on a PCB that resembles the following.The 5V supply is pretty stable (0.5V tolerance) and the 3.3V LDO delivers a low-noise power to the microcontroller. The µC communicates with the outside world through CAN (transceiver present). There are already some precautionary measures present on this setup, as follows.All the lines (power and CAN) are ESD protected (IEC61000−4−2 standard level-4.Setup is completely coated (conformal coating on PCB). Hence, any physical contact from outside world will be difficult.During routine operation, the communication with a sensor system (STM32F303CB on-board) was lost. On further investigation, the following was found.Optical examination revealed no bad component. All the active and passive components on the PCB seemed intact. No burning out (or) abrasion on coated areas were found.The resistance between 3.3V LDO output and Ground was <2ohms, which was narrowed down to the microcontroller itself.The resistance between VDD and VSS pi

 Hi,I'm currently working with the STM32G491 MCU to implement low power functionality. I plan to enter Stop mode when a specific condition is met. My goal is to send a 100x100 RGB565 image (20,000 bytes) from the STM32 to another ESP32 device connected to another stm32 via TCP using AT commands.Setup:STM32G0B0VET6 → ESP32 (UART4 @ 115200 baud)ESP32 connected to Wi-Fi and using TCP modeUsing AT+CIPSEND=<id>,<len>But I'm not able to transfer the image, while searching the internet i couldn't find any refence of someone doing this, so i just need to know if this is even possible and if so how to do it.Thanks.

It seems there are not a lot of available evaluation boards or material for TPM running on microcontrolersProbably because is overkill to use TPM for firmware updates and communications in a stm32G4  But this is a requirement i have received from upstairs. My idea is to buy a stpm4raspiv21 or similar and wire it (i2c) to my nucleo board.And WolfTPM as firmware package. Does anyone have any advice for this? @Bubbles @na.1

i want clapping and outside sound provide to the SPH0641LU4H microphone and that is i connected to stm32 nucleo-L476RG board and in my pc's putty. i can tried heat and trials methods in that using DFSDM1 to configure the microphone and USART2 for conveyed to the PC, but it's got wrong and i just confused to how to do that. Hi ST community members! For a long time ago with another nick (but lost the account access), I have wanted to add U-Boot support for this board. Now I have done this but not released a patch series yet (only on my local Git repo) in the U-Boot mailing list. Also must do some tests on real hardware. Short question:Does somebody need support for this board or is it useless? I know the board has less RAM, but some ST maintainers on the U-Boot list where interested in the past. But unfortunately I haven't finally done this, because of an illness. Also when it's useless for other users, it was a fun project for me. :)

 I'm using an STM32H7 microcontroller to interface with an OV2640 camera. I'm utilizing the 8-bit DCMI interface to capture data from the camera and transfer it to a DMA FIFO buffer. My camera configuration includes generating an 8MHz MCO signal for the MCLK input on the OV2640. I'm processing the data with a Digital Signal Processor to obtain RGB565 format at a resolution of 120x160 pixels. Currently, my HSYNC is set to HIGH, VSYNC to LOW, and I'm using a pixel clock with a rising edge. The problem I am having is I get no valid bytes from the DMA FIFO buffer. I get the value of 0x00. Below is my main.c with the functions running the program, the values I write to the register also work. Please help.

Hi guys,I am using the USB 2.0 port (in CDC mode),  based on STM32G474 microcontroller design project for the communication with PC. I am trying to debug/upload the project using the usb port but it shows the message like  "No ST-LINK detected!!! please conncet the ST-LINK and restart the session." I have tried to upgrade the st-link frimware from the help menu but it shows nothing in upgrade GUI (no st-link shows in device list). Currently i am using  version1.18.0 stm32cubeide. I also tried to upload the file using stm32CubeProgrammer tool but there also "no debug probe detected" in st-link mode. In fact usb port is communicating with the serial terminal (from serial  terminal to - microcontroller and vice a versa) after uploading the firmware in it using SWD interface.Could you please help me in order to short out this issue.?Many thanks. 

When we generate the PWM pulse in all GPIOP's, if any of the 2 ports or more having interconnection, how to identify or recognize by using the PWM pulse?

Hello, I designed a PCB using the STM32U575ZIT6Q. I do not use SMPS on this board. I am using a external 3.3V supply.When designing, I connected the VDD11 pins to ground as shown here.But now when I am trying to debug the PCB, the microcontroller doesn't seem to respond to my attempts to program it. I was looking at my schematic and spotted this. When searching more online about VDD11 i found this: How necessary is it to connect this pin through these capacitors? I didn't see this and I am wondering if this is the problem with my PCB design, or if I should look for it somewhere else.What can I do to fix this if it is an issue?Thanks for the help.

Hello Guys, I have a STM32H743IIT6 on a CustomBoard, my Clock is a Quarzoscillator with 25mhz. I have a SDRAM from Winbond with 32 MiB on Bank1, my debug port is USART2, with sdcard for linux later. I checked out the last release of u-boot from https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot i tried a lot of days to run the bootloader, with minimal configuration. u-boot has the boards STM32H743-DISCO and STM32H743-EVAL, i tried both with "half" success... I copied the config form the STM32H743, with C Files, Header and DTS File to my own board, and for the beginning i tried with the internal SRAM from the controller. I changed the HSE Clock to bypass and changed my uart2 pins. while booting, i become a HardFault. With google, i found out, R0: 23F36FC0 is out of my DRAM. What do i wrong? Dear Sir/Madam,Good day~I am currently using STM32F439ZI for the purpose of developing BMS.However, the code size exceed the internal Flash capacity, which is 2MB.To address this, I intend to add an external Flash (MXIC:MX25L25645G).May I know whether the external Flash can connect to any of the six SPIs available on the STM32F439ZI?or there are specific SPIs for interfacing with external Flash?Any guidance would be appreciated.Vince
