Hey everyone,I want to use a STM32F767ZI to develop driving safety functions for electric scooters.The functions and Code are developed on Simulink using the Support Package for nucleo boards. I would like to log data from the MCU directly to a SD-Card or something similar. Does somebody know an approach to do this? One way would be to use a SD-Card via SPI, but I do not know if that is possible within the Simulink support package. I would be glad if somebody has done something similar or could give me advice how I could reach my goal.Thank's in advance!

ST-LINK part's LED (LD1) on your STM32f446re Nucleo board appears dim and differently when in debug mode. but in normal, it glow normally and when code upload, it blinks.

Hello, I’m exploring how to convert the  PROFINET Community Stack into a working implementation on STM32.Specifically, without relying on commercial stacks like RT-Labs.Has anyone successfully ported the community stack to an STM32 platform? Any insights, examples, or guidance on integrating the stack with STM32  would be very helpful.

I am currently implementing FreeRTOS on the STM32F407 MCU board and integrating it with the RC7620 Cellular Modem. However, I am facing issues with the UART configuration of USART2 for transmitting and receiving AT command responses from the RC7620 modem. I already have the FreeRTOS source code available and would like to share it with you for your support in making the USART2 configuration work correctly. Best regards,Manjunath E. Hi,I have a piece of CRC calculating code that I nicked from somewhere a couple of decades ago. I've been wondering about a few lines: *CRCVal ^= (*CRCVal << 8) << 4; *CRCVal ^= ((*CRCVal & 0xFF) << 4) << 1;(CRCVal is a pointer to a uint16_t variable.)What I'm curious about is the slightly weird left-shifting notation. Shouldn't it give exactly the same result if it was written like this? *CRCVal ^= (*CRCVal << 12); *CRCVal ^= (*CRCVal & 0xFF) << 5;Does anyone have a hunch why the shifts are split up like this? Could it be something related to a specific compiler or device that handles half-byte shifts in a certain way?By the way, it would be great if this forum had a "General programming" board. I prefer to ask questions here, as I think that the community has a nice vibe.

I am unable to get the USB bootloader to work on a custom board with an STM32F070C6. This board uses an 8 MHz crystal (chosen to avoid HSI issues when the HSE frequency is too high—due to space constraints, a lower-frequency crystal is not an option).For reference, I have another custom board (nearly identical in design) with an STM32F070F6, where the USB bootloader works correctly. Hello everyone,I'm using the STM32f407 Discovery board.I'm trying to use TIM2 to send a frame in a cyclic way and also i'm using TIM6 to send the data of a DHT11 sensor. The problem is that when i added the TIM6 i no longer receiver the frames.Who should i adjust my code in order to work with the DHT11 sensor data and still send my frames.I tried to use the DHT11 sensor separately to make sure that the code works and it works perfectly.

My sensor does not turn on and does not send any data. Moved from this thread. Hi TOlli,Hope you will see this message. I'm having trouble using FD CAN communication as simple CAN with the NUCLEO-H753ZI. I use Simulink to create my program and it gives me error when I select the "Classic Mode" for Frame Format, asking me to choose between the other two modes. Using the "not BitRate Switching" I managed to succecfully communicate with a NUCLEO-F446 with CAN, but unfortunately the NUCLEO-H753ZI doesn't receive the CAN message from the NUCLEO-F446. I'm using for both devices two CAN/FD CAN lines to check that the messages are transmitted correctly.Do you know how I might solve this problem? Thanks for your time, Giaggio  

Hi  hi, did anyone manage to get katapult  working with stm32F042.    Issue is  I have I have managed generate canboot.bin.   Get UUID and upload test program but here us problem when testing simple blink cannot get it working either my test program or canboot back after testing simple blink program is first time uploaded.     My boot pin is floating atm.    Just wondering if any can advise.   Or have some experience with katapult custom canboot loader.    Ps.  After 1 upload via uuid   Hex file still show CanBoot on microcontroller     

Dear reader,I have a question about the use of TIM1 on the Blue Pill STM32F103. I want to build a synchronous Buck Converter using the Blue Pill and need to use PWM on TIM1 ch1..3 with its complementary outputs and the programmable dead time for that. I heard someone saying that using TIM1 for PWM was not a good idea. The Pill Blue has these function only on TIM1 ch1..3 so what can be the reason that using TIM1 for PWM is not a good idea.I don't use HALL and program Bare Metal, but program with Arduino liberties. Is TIM1 used for other function under Arduino? Anyone has an idea

Good day, everyone.I'm trying to learn the tools for programming the STM devices.I've purchased a BluePill development board on AliExpress. The chip on it says STM32F103C8, but when I use the CubeMX, it replies the CPUID is 0x2ba01477.I've been trying to flash this particular chip using an IAR workbench (ver. 8.50.9), but I keep getting the above message.I'm doing a simple code, blinking the PC13 once per 1M cycles.Can anyone help me with this issue?I'll happily share any info related.

After doing something I was able to load code on to it but later I wasn't able to. I would like to know if the M95P32 EEPROM can be used by the OctoSPI interface on a STM32L4R9 processor in memory mapped mode? And if so, is there an example of a driver available?

With evaluation board of STM32-P107 I have a working code for controlling led strip (or more via GPIO's of port B) of 60 leds. I am more concerned with initialization functions DMA_init, TIM2_init and the associated interrupts. In the NUCLEO-G031K8 you only have 5 channels and a timer clock frequency of 16Mhz. I want to control led strips with NUCLEO-G031K8 exactly in the same way as STM32-P107. Then the DMA's can do their job, and the controller can keep busy with other things.Can somebody convert the code in the attachment to Nucleo-G031K8?

Hello, I'm learning embedded development (junior level) and picked up a free STM32u575zit6q Nucleo Dev Board.My goal is to build an embedded system that captures a VIN string and saves it to a .csv file. Ideally done through embedded and low level. Later I'd like to incorporate cloud systems to easily see the csv as a spreadsheet on an app or webpage and phase out the LCD/IPS display.My main question is, how important is an FIFO for this board and would it hurt if I don't buy a camera that has one installed? What cams would be ideal for this project? Is there a system for scanning VINs and converting them to strings easily? Hello, I’m building a custom communication protocol using STM32 (F1 series) as a relay-only device, sitting between an ESP32F103C6T6A and multiple slave ESP32F103C6T6As. The ESP handles all frame dispatching and reception. The STM32 "master" is just an intermediary to ensure matching internal clock timing between STM32s (since ESP32's timing is too loose). I can’t use external crystals or change pin assignments. The system uses bit-banged GPIO for communication: Master TX (to Slaves): PA11 (HIGH idle) Master RX (from Slaves): PB10 (LOW idle) Slave RX: PA9 / Slave TX: PA10 Timings: 20ms LOW front, 40ms HIGH sync, 7ms per bit (32 bits), 40ms end The ESP sends 32-bit frames (e.g. 0xF1F1F1F1, 0xABABABAB) to the STM32 master via UART. The STM then dispatches them bit-banged to the slaves and listens for a bit-banged 32-bit response. That response is passed back to the ESP. Each slave listens on PA9, and only responds if the 24 LSBs match its own ID. The ESP performs a manual DISCO
