Hello,  I am trying to use a proteus1 to monitor temp and vibration on a spindle and i just cant seem to find the best way to do this. I would  like to use a cloud so I can monitor it off site and get a notification if the temp rises above a threshold. what would you recommend. I have tried the azur cloud i can get the device to connect but then in the classic app i can not get it to send any information. I have tried almost all firmware versions and just cant seem to crack this. Anything will help. Thank you,

Hello everyone.I have recently made my own STM32 board based on the STM32F405. After soldering all the components and testing all pads and connections, finding them to be wired correctly and checking that the 3.3V is being supplied to all the correct pins, I tried to upload some code, but to my shock, the STM32F405 isn't establishing a connection via the ST-Link V2 nor the USB cable. After trying multiple fixes, I suspect the issue might be the STM32F405 chip that I got off AliExpress itself. Before taking any further steps to replace it, I decided to post a question here for review in case the problem was in my PCB design. And sure enough, I had misplaced the chip pin due to the faulty pinout diagram I used as reference.I have since fixed the chip's orientation and rechecked all pad and pin connections, as well as the 3.3V supply, and found everything to be correct; yet I still cannot get the STM32 CubeProgrammer or IDE to connect with my board using the ST-Link V2 or a

Dear ST Technical Support Team,I am currently using the ST1S10PHR buck converter in my custom PCB design to convert 12V input to 5V output.However, the regulator is not switching to the expected 5V output. Hi,We are building Linux for STM32MP157D using Buildroot, and we are experiencing an issue where the boot process sometimes does not proceed from BL2 to OP-TEE, and sometimes OP-TEE does not proceed to U-Boot.Occasionally, the kernel does boot successfully.Could this be caused by incorrect DDR3 controller settings? We are using a custom board.If so, would compiling the STM32DDRFW-UTIL source code and using it in engineering mode be the right solution?I have read that for some chips it is possible to perform automatic tuning and receive the optimal configuration as a result.Is this possible in this case? If not, what is the proper method to determine the correct DDR controller settings?If DDR is not the issue, do you have any other suggestions?For testing with DDR-UTIL, I see that there is no development board listed for the 157D series, as the utility supports "STM32MP157C-EV1_DDR_UTILITIES_A7".If we order the "STM32MP157D-EV1", will I be able to run DDR tests on it to compare with our

The MCU I use is H533, but I guess the SPI peripheral in other MCUs would be similar.I'm looking for the recommended way to regularly transmit over SPI "small" data frames (in the sense that one frame fits into the FIFO) that can vary in size. For example, in response to different events I would be updating values of different DACs or shift registers and they all have their own data frame format and size, usually between 16 and 32 bits.SPI peripheral has TSIZE and DSIZE settings seemingly exactly for that, but they require disabling the SPI peripheral to be changed (for TSIZE it's documented, for DSIZE, it seems not), and it adds latency to transfers.So far it seems the optimal approach in my case is to as follows. Hi,I am using SBSFU v2.8 with an STM32H750. I have successfully booted my firmware without any protections. I have also enabled protections and succeeded all tests in the test suite provided in the example code in sfu_test.c.However, when I attempt to boot my firmware with any protections enabled at all, I get the following, followed by a reset.This is happening at the first control flow check at line 1092 in sfu_boot.c.In my research, I found this post. I replicated it and included app_sfu.h in sfu_boot.h. It works now.I would like some clarification on this whole situation. Is this a bug? or is my build system just not including app_sfu.h appropriately ?Thanks!

Hi Apologies in advance if these are daft questions, however I'm trying to put together a development kit for the SR5E1E5 . I have found the SR5E1-EVBE5000P evaluation board, but need a debugger to use with it.  I assume that the ST-LINK/V2 is compatible but can someone please confirm this?  Also can the Stellar Studio All in One be used with this combination? The SR5E1-EVBE5000P has a USB connector can I assume this does not support debugging via Stellar Studio All in One?We already have the SPC5-UDESTK, but I assume that this is not compatible with the Stelar series of micros? Thanks in advance.

Hi All!I'm starting with a project with STM32H573 + STiRoT + Trustzone + Crypto + FreeRTOS + DA.My preference is to do development and debugging in Visual Studio Code instead of the Eclipse based IDE.I got to the point that I can build a secure/encrypted application (still without FREERTOS at this point) in VS Code and was able to provision my board.However, I can't really find anything on debugging in VS Code with Debug Authorization.I did find the tutorial on CLI DA for provisioning and regression (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/implementing-debug-authentication-on-stm32h5-using-cli-tools/ta-p/622308) but not for actual debugging in VS Code. Maybe I've overlooked this on the forum and/or application notes. I'm hoping that someone can give me a push in the right direction. Or is this not officially supported in VS Code yet and am I bound to Eclipse IDE at this point in time?With kind regards,Martijn

NUCLEO-F767ZI I'm trying to use the LwIP middleware which I have enabled in MX. First I'm trying to check if an ethernet cable is attached or not. I have setup UART3 to use printf (which works as expected) I've set the callback in lwip.c to print when the cable is removed or plugged in or so I thought but I get no message when I connect or disconnect the cable. The LEDs on the socket light up when the cable is connected, so the board at some level does see the cable. What am I missing here? Hello STM Team,I have been trying to get the GC2145 to work on the DK but no matter what i do i only get /dev/video0 but never /dev/media0I use Buildroot with the Linux kernel on ST's Github.
