I'm trying to figure out how to make a driver for your camera. The problem seems to be the licensing. The driver is all GPL which would be fine because with the datasheet i could figure out all the calls i need to make my driver work on a non linux device. The problem is the patches. The only place i can find about the patches are on the github driver page. Are they located another place thats not under GPL.* https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/vd56g3-linux-driver

Hello.I'm working on project with LSM6DSO and I use FSM.For easier programming I use the FSM Feature in MEMS studio, but it looks like it's buggy:1 - SRP doesn't change the graphical diagram of FSM. Hello,I am working with the Machine Learning Core (MLC) of the LSM6DSOX and I would like to better understand how to extend or reuse existing ST models.In particular, I am using preconfigured models available from ST (e.g. Activity Recognition), which are provided as .ucf files.My goal is to:reuse an existing ST model as a baselineadd my own labeled data (custom activities)generate a new combined model without starting completely from scratchFor this reason, I would like to ask:Is it possible to access or obtain the original datasets used by ST to train the provided MLC models?Is there a way to extract or inspect the underlying decision tree from a .ucf configuration?Is there an official workflow to extend an existing model (e.g. retrain by adding new data) rather than creating a new model from zero?I understand that .ucf files represent the final register configuration, but I am interested in working at a higher level (model/data level) if possible.Any guidance or recommended approach

Hi, I am not sure how to categorize this problem. I have a custom board that I had done an initial software development cycle on STM32CubeIDE. I am working a newer version in VSCode with the STM32 Extension. Everything is working with the exception of one problem. I am using a watchdog on my MCU (STM32L4R9ZGJ6), which triggers while I have the processor halted. I know how to fix this in CubeIDE (Debugger tab, Enable Suspend Watchdogs) but cannot figure it out on the VSCode/GDB side. Evaluating the L9963E BCC chip for a BMS design, using the AEK_POW_BMSNOTX eval board together with AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 (spc58ec) running the example BMS application as reference but seeing some odd results in the cell voltage readings.All readings are a bit low compared to actual cell voltage, but cell1 and cell14 are off by a fairly large amount.What could be causing this?cell1 & cell14 reading off by 0.5vcell2 to cell13 reading off by about 0.1vCell1 reading seems to improve if the HotPlug selection jumper is mounted. But not cell14.

Hi I have created a project using STM32Cube.AI Studio. I am able to successfully run and generate the project from the tool. After that, I can open the project in STM32CubeIDE and build it without any issues.However, while debugging, I encounter the error shown in the image below.I am able to debug the image classification and face detection sample projects provided by ST without any issues. Therefore, I suspect that there may be a problem with the project configuration generated by STM32Cube.AI Studio.The evaluation board I am currently using is the STM32N6570-DK.Please help me to resolve this issue?

I am implementing NFC wake-up functionality using the main controller chip STM32L433 and the ST25DV04KC. I2C writes and reads are functioning normally. However, when the NFC field is present, the GPO pin does not output a pulse (reading the GPO register returns a value of 0x11). Using a multimeter to measure the GPO level change when the NFC field appears shows a minimal change in voltage level. The same program works correctly on an STM32F1 development board with an ST25DV04KC NFC module (both 8-pin and 12-pin versions were tested, with the same phenomenon). Does anyone know why this is happening？Could you provide some troubleshooting directions？This would be very helpful to me.Thank you！

I am experiencing a problem with RTOS Proxy in STM32CubeIDE 2.0.0/2.1.0 when debugging a ThreadX application on STM32H753 using a SEGGER J-Link.The same setup works correctly with STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0, but after upgrading to 2.0.0/2.1.0 the debugger aborts during the flash download when RTOS Proxy is enabled. Hello, I am using the STM32H503 MCU. When I configure the pins as follows:PB2 → OUTPUTPA8 → TIM1_CH1PB7 → I2C1_SDAIn the RCC section, I get red warnings for Master Clock Output1 (MCO), LSCO clock output, and SAI1 External clock. I cannot disable these clock settings. Is there a way to do this in CubeMX? How can I resolve this conflict in CubeMX?

The BIN file shall be signed like a normal application. The behavior should be more or less the same: Restart µC, SM checks validity; app will be started,...I have read um3254 but I do not understand the section with large profile.I have read something about ITS, but I think this is not the solution I need. Split from USART in Proteus not displaying any characters as this is now a new situation (real hardware; not simulation) Now as per your advise i have moved from simulation to real hardware can you please why under freertos its not working the led is counitnusly onn instead of blinking? Working behavior: LED blinks correctly without FreeRTOS using a simple while loop in the same setup . Flashing and debugging via ST-LINK works without issues. Problem: When FreeRTOS is enabled, the LED stays continuously ON instead of blinking under the same hood . I am trying to use USART in Proteus, but it is not displaying any characters in the virtual terminal. In fact, nothing is appearing at all. My workflow was: I first generated the .ioc configuration using STM32CubeMX. Then I generated the project and built it in STM32CubeIDE to create the .hex file. I loaded this .hex file into the STM32 in Proteus. For USART communication: I am using USART2. PA2 → TX PA3 → RX I also verified the following: The baud rate is the same in both: STM32CubeIDE code Proteus Virtual Terminal I even simplified the code to just print a simple string using UART, but nothing appears in the Proteus virtual terminal. I followed several tutorials, but I still cannot determine what I might be doing wrong. At the moment, the UART in Proteus is not displaying any characters at all. Hi,Having just updated to STM32CubeIDE 2.1.1, I've created an STM32CubeIDE Empty Project (the only apparent relevant option) targeting the STM32F072 Discovery Kit as I want to experiment with the touch sensing capabilities, however when the project is created I don't see an IOC file. Has the workflow reverted to using STM32CubeMX to create the IOC file etc. please?Kind regards,Al

Why, oh why have you separated IDE and MX such that .ioc files can no longer be opened in IDE?I cannot imagine any benefits and it makes the IDE significantly worse, such that I've felt compelled to revert to version 1.19.0 ( go to Help -> About STM32CubeIDE -> Installation Details -> Installation History -> select version -> Revert)I couldn't find any other means of feeding back my strong dislike of this change other than a post like this. I hope version 2.1.0 comes out soon and re-integrates MX and IDE!

I tried doing an OBD2 request via Car's OBD2 port.I am able to see the CAN BUS traffic using an oscilloscope , just my request frames are rejected by car. I am using STM32h735G-DK development board to send OBD2 requests. It consists of an inbuilt FDCAN transceiver. Settings are fine (removed termination resistor as car already has two), baudrate is 500kbps  with 87.5% sample point. I am using the following code to send OBD2 request frames:I am able to receive CAN frames and able to log CAN frame frames it is just that frames sent are rejected. My BLE project on stm32wba65 makes use of "UTIL_TIMER_Create" to set a callback. This works ok when the RTC is configured just as free running binary. If I set the rtc mode to mixed binary & bcd, the callback never gets fired. I'm using an LSE to drive the rtc. Why is this? I'm trying to base a project off the BLE_Heartrate example. I need the calendar time & date so I can timestamp data. I synch the time over the BLE from a PC. I suppose I could just use the ms ticks since boot, but how does this survive a reset (but not power outage)? Is the binary counter derived from the rtc sufficiently large enough to hold a date for a year or more? Any examples using binary RTC and external time synch would be most welcome.

Hi, I am currently working on a project where I want to adjust the duty cycle and trigger an ADC measurement on every counter rollover. I managed to get the PWM running in center-aligned mode, but I’m having trouble triggering the counter rollover at the correct moment. To verify whether the trigger is correct, I routed the output compare signal to an external pin and observed it on an oscilloscope. The basic idea is to run an additional counter alongside the PWM. This counter should count up to ARR and then generate a trigger that starts the ADC conversion. Becuase in the center aligned mode two update event occurs both on CNT=0 and CNT=ARR. On the oscilloscope, it looks like the trigger—presumably when CNT = 0 (at least that’s my assumption)—produces an edge. Im using NUCLEO-G491RE. What could I be missing here?
