ST25 NFC/RFID tags and readers

At the moment, I am using the default firmware on the ST25R3911B-DISCO and have been reading and writing to a ST25DV04K tag. I know that the ST25DV04K tag supports a size of a 256-byte buffer, but I am wondering if the ST25R3911B does as well. If it does, what would I need to change in the firmware?

Hello,I am using ST25R3916 based X-Nucleo-NFC06A1 with Raspberry-Pi to read data from ST24DC64KC tag (which is custom board) using FTM. I am able to read the message using  rfalST25xVPollerReadMessage(), But only if length is below 128. If I am trying to read message with length more than 128, I am getting ERR_RF_COLLISION. I am able to read same message using SR25R3916 Discovery Board.What can I do to read complete FTM Message with length around 250 Bytes?Thank you.

Hi,I am assessing to use ST95HF chip or ST25R95 chip for Bluetooth pairing (use NFC Data Exchange Format) application and reader mode of NFC Tag URL.I would like to know if above two functions can work on the chip at the same time.And does the software package contain Bluetooth pairing and read NFC Tag URL for reference?ST95HFST25R95Best regards,Sam Cheng.

Just wondering if it's possible to add an extra sensor (SPI) on the STEVAL-SMARTAG1? Can the SPI sensor be replaced to complete the acquisition?

Currently purchased with the STEVAL-SMARTAG1, it was discovered that the capability collected through the ST25 powers the L0 via EH pin VDD while collecting data from the sensor. I need to collect signals by thermocouple, which is the same transmission mode as SPI. Can I successfully collect data in this way? Any better suggestions?

The antenna is connected to the board via an SMA connector. I know that I should also adjust the matching network to the antenna. For this, I wanted to use the ST25R Antenna Matching Tool, but I have a few problems determining the appropriate antenna parameters. Good morning, currently I'm working on this task is to set the tag to have a different access levels.I downloaded IOS "NFC Tap" App to try out and there's this feature called, "Area Security Status".My question is,for "Readable, write protected by password", is it possible to make some sections to be readable and some cannot be read from the tag?For example,There're total 5 URI Records in the tag, Device 1 can access to first 3 URI Records, butDevice 2 can access to all 5 URI Records.Let's say, Device 2 (from manufacturer) comes with password so it can access to all the NDEF Records, but Device 1 is a software application for the external users to try out so it only some sections is readable.Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Hello,I have a really weird behaviour for my chip which I can't really figure out. Basically, I am using only the commands from the ST25DV library (st25dv discovery board).After 2 function calls (for example present password and disable RF) the subsequent calls get all not acknowledged.If I reverse the order of the instructions then those instructions will get executed correctly and the other ones won't.Could someone provide a hint on what could go wrong?Kind Regards

Good afternoon, currently I want to write a simple NDEF File in the tag's EEPROM by using ST25R3916-DISCO kit.I will attach the guide pdf, "ST25PcDemoApp_software_guide" at below for reference.I faced this problem after I added JARs into "Java Build Path" under Libraries.The JARs are in the file provided by STSW-ST25SDK001 which included:"commons-lang3-3.5.jar", "st25pc-model-readers-1.10.0.jar", "st25sdk-1.10.0.jar" and "st25pc-model-readers-1.9.0".However, "st25pc-model-readers-1.9.0" doesn't come with "st25sdk-1.9.0.jar", so I tried to use "10" instead.I'm unsure if the guide is using 1.9.0 because it was not stated clearly.The guide says that after I add the JARs, I should be able to see the public API displayed in the Eclipse Project (page 20) , but I don't see any API is displayed.Instead, under the "Referenced Libraries folders", I was able to see the packages.May I assume that the packages data was not passed to the Eclipse IDE software thus they're not synchronized and the API

Hello,I would like to know how can i perform the Device Firmware upgrade using ST25DV dynamic tag.I am using "en.STSW-ST25DV001SC-Source_v1.2.0" and tried out both demonstration examples ST25DVDemo ( firmware update using internal flash)I am able to perform firmware update using ST25DV demo example, but after reset it jumps to original firmware. So i would like to know how can i implement a firmware upgrade feature using "ST25DVDemo" example so that after reset it boots to the uploaded firmware instead of the old firmware.Thanks,Nikhil.

Hey there, We have a product that features one PCB that embeds the ST25R3911B with a custom NFC antenna, acting as a reader (initiator mode).For the CE certification process we are currently pursuing for our product, the certifying body required to perform RF testing for NFC as well. They suggested to have a look at the product page looking for a testing firmware similar to what we could find for BLE RF testing with the BLUENRG-LP. Unfortunately, we could not find any such thing. It would very nice if someone could with any of the following questions:Is there any testing firmware/software or some guidelines to perform RF testing for NFC communication with the ST25R3911B?Has someone already performed RF testing for CE certification of an NFC initiator, i.e. the ST25R3911B?Are there some guidelines for writing such a RF testing firmware? We already opened a support ticket, and they suggested us to post in the Community forum, so here we are... We need to do block reads and writes using ISO15963/M24LR protocols. I have the stsw-95hf002 (AN3954 v3) source code package for C++ development. Unfortunately, it does not include APIs for ISO15963 or M24LR-specific protocols; neither do the supplied Windows DLL and lib files. I also downloaded the stsw-m24lr006 package, a firmware set for the board that does include ISO15963 and M24LR-specific support - however, these libraries do not, at first glance, appear easily or helpfully adaptable to Windows-USB software. Before I burn time reinventing the wheel (and delaying the project), does ST (or anyone else here) have CR95HF Windows libraries for these protocols?
