STM32 MCUs

Hello All,I am working on a custom project using STM32C011J6/SO8.I was trying to use PIN4 as ADC with 3 differents states but once I connect to GND, mcu resets. So now, I have no access to the mcu via Debugger because I set NRST_MODE in Option bytes to : 0x10 only internal RESET is possible.My questions:- Is there a way to recover it knowing that I tested and I can't access system memory.- I am using all the 6 pins (4 ADCs and 2 Outputs). Can I use the PIN4/PA0 as ouput without having reset issues?I know I can still block the reset by Option bytes but I am not sure if I would need a FW change in the future.Thanks,Ayoub

I upgrade my project recently to the above firmware (STM32Cube FW_WL V1.5.0)  which ended up not working.Lots of errors, I think mostly because of the introduction of the relay node.After a couple of days trying to get this working I started a fresh project from CubeMX and this did not compile into the STM32WLE5CB. Any idea on what the issue could be?

Hello,I am working on an STM32F7 project where I need to sample multiple ADC peripherals using DMA triggered by a timer. Hi all,I'm trying to replay the demo from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn6JHVcY7hA The provisioning and debug authentication works fine, but the application hangs.I never passes the MX_ICACHE_Init() function. And sometimes in the MPU init or config function. The project is standard generated code, I'm using STM32H573I-DK but empty chip project like in the video.Project settings : Select STM32H573IIKxQ Click yes on enabling ICACHE and MPU Enable trustzone Secure project only Generate DA folder Bootpath : STiRot + Secure Application (offset 0, offset 0x100000, size 0x100000) PI9 as output and PC13 as input Generate project Add loader.h and loader.c and add blinky like in the video   The project was imported in STM32CubeIDE 2.1.1 and build fine.I've used provisioning.bat to provision my board to CLOSED. Hi All!I'm trying to wrap my head around STM32H573 with trustzone, STiRoT etc in STM32CubeMX and I'm missing some information on the firmware sizes.The STM32H573 has 2MB flash, secure part is from 0x0C00_0000 to 0x0C1F_FFFF. When I select STiRoT + Secure partition and open OBkey settings I want to use maximum firmware size, which is 1MB in my understanding (download area must be same size as application area). So I set firmware offset to zero, firmware download area offset to 0x0010_0000 and firmware area size also to 0x0010_0000. When I generate obkey it gives me firmware slots 0 with address 0x0C00_0000 with size 0x10_0000 and slot 1 with address 0x0C10_0000 with size 0x10_0000. But the mapping says Start address 0x0C00_0400 and End address 0xC0F_FFFF which is different from the configured address/size.If tried going to Tools -> Memory Management but that gives a different image again!That gives a size of 123kB and address range 0x0C00_0400 - 0x0C01_EFFF, which appears t

Hello Team,We are using the internal SMPS configuration for the core power supply. However, the power-up sequence does not specify the timing requirements for the different stages.Could you please provide the timing details for the following? What should be the time duration for the PWR_ON signal to transition from low to high while VDD and VDDA18AON are rising (Step 1)?After PWR_ON goes high, what is the required time duration for VDDA18PMU / VDDSMPS to rise (Step 2)?What is the exact meaning and function of the SDEN signal?Are there any additional considerations or recommended guidelines to be followed during the power-up and power-down sequence? Thanks

I have a STM32N6570-DK and i can't seem to program it any more.  I tried it in both the STM32 programmer gui and terminal application.  So i can connect to the device read and read the flash but i can't seem to write to it any more.  I can't even erase the flash.  I have another  Boot 0 = 0 (L)Boot 1 = 1 (H)

Hi everyone,I’m working on a battery monitoring prototype using an STM32F303. I’m measuring multiple analog voltages using the internal ADC with DMA. The ADC readings fluctuate by ±20 counts whenever the PWM output for the buck converter is enabled.I already added averaging in firmware, but the noise is still visible. The analog input traces are routed near the switching MOSFET area on the PCB.My questions:Is this more likely caused by ADC sampling timing or switching noise coupling?Would increasing ADC sample time help in this case?On the PCB side, should I separate analog and power ground planes or just improve return current paths?

STM32CubeMX v6.17.0While configuring an STM32CubeMX project for an STM32H753 Ethernet project on a NUCLEO-H753ZI, I observed some strange behavior.After enabling memory management, including the checkboxes- Apply Application Regions Settings to Peripherals and- Apply Application Regions Settings to Linker Files,I would have expected the memory regions to be included in the linker description file STM32H753XX_FLASH.ld.Unfortunately, this was not the case.However, since the STM32H753XX_FLASH.ld file had obviously been regenerated, I did not suspect the file handling itself.After several hours of searching, I discovered that if the .ld file is deleted before regeneration, different content is generated.Steps to reproduce this:Open STM32CubeMXFile / New Project… / Board SelectorSelect NUCLEO-H753ZIIn „Board Project Options“ dialog, click button „Unselect All“Set Project Manager / Project / Toolchain / IDE  to CMakeand Default Compiler/Linker to ST Arm ClangFile / Save ProjectGenerate

Hi everyone,I have a screen project displaying a camera image using an STM32N6. I've validated and run several peripherals like DCMIPP and DMA2D. I'm currently displaying a 720x576 resolution image from DCMIPP on the screen via layer 2 using bitmap addressing.My question is: Since I'm using internal RAM, Touchgfx uses one layer, and one layer is used for the camera. Because I'm not processing any bitmaps and need space, I've significantly reduced the size of the cmd_list area. After adding all this, I have about 300kB of free RAM left.Now, what I need is to be able to see this camera image in full size on my 1024x600 px screen. However, I want to know if this enlargement is possible and if it requires a cmd_list, i.e., vector graphics.Will I use vector graphics for this? Will GPU2D use the RAM allocated for layer 2 for this operation, or will it require an additional amount of RAM equal to the screen size? Best Regards,Onur 

We are currently using LPTIM1 to measure the time period. As this operation needs to be performed frequently, we are using the following APIs:   HAL_LPTIM_TimeOut_Stop_IT(&hlptim1) HAL_LPTIM_TimeOut_Start_IT(&hlptim1, 0xXXXX, 0xXXXX)   During this process, the LPTIM_Disable() function temporarily disables all interrupts using PRIMASK while waiting for the LPTIM_FLAG_ARROK and LPTIM_FLAG_CMPOK flags.   This global interrupt masking is causing data loss on LPUART1, which is operating at 115200 baud. As a result, we are encountering ORE (Overrun Error) due to missed UART interrupts.   Given this behaviour, we would like your guidance on the following:   Is it safe to modify the LPTIM_Disable() implementation by removing or commenting out the PRIMASK-based global interrupt disable? I need to convert the TouchGFX framebuffer into RGB666 (6 bits per color) for a custom display interface that runs over SPI/QSPI.Here is my IOC. Hello, I used MX2 for the last two weeks and it is a great improvement over MX. I build many small projects with it and I am constantly running into a problem related to timer configuration. I enter the values for the Prescaler and the Counter period as Integers and unfortunately when I close the project and reopen MX2 converts the value to Hex (and indicates that it is a Hex value). I keep forgetting that MX2 does this and I enter a new value as an Int thinking that my selection was sticky. Could you make the Int/Hex selection sticky? It's a small issue but it will save developers some trouble. Thank you,Gil
