Hello Community,I have Several Query Related to STM32F439 Microcontroller SPI 6 Slave DMA Mode,Let me Explain the Scenario , we have Custom Board Build Around STm32F439 micro-Controller and using HAL Stm32V27 Library Version.so we are Communicating with Different Module Via SPI6 Slave Mode using DMA, So as Power on we are Sending Around 9000 bytes of Data from Master to SPI6 Slave  Micro Controller in 6 bytes of Frame, so we Observed that whenever MISO line is Coming in Between or Going in Between our Receive Data Lost and SPI went out of Sync as we are using SPI Transmit Receive DMA API for our Communication, Referencing of this Statement i have Attached my Observation and Saelee Logic Analyzer, Capture 1 Fully Working Condition , as you can see Capture 1 Grey Clock , Below one Chip Select, Pink one MOSI Data and Below there is no Moment of MISO Signal and It's working fine but sometime am Getting Capture like this in Capture 2,  Grey Clock, Below one Chip Select, Pink one M

Hello Community,I got one Stranger Problem, as i was Debugging one Hang Issue there i Got in user Application we are Storing Application Checksum in Flash Address 0x0801FF0 and Accessing and Reading Back from 0x081FFF00.So in CBIT Test I get Result Pass every time but after 4 hour's Program Counter goes into Hard Fault State and in Stack we got the Issue is Coming from CBIT Function because to Accessing and Reading Back 0x081FFF00 out Bound Address, as we Correct the Address from 0x081FFF00 to 0x0801FF0 so issue got Resolved but my Doubt is why its's took 4 hour's Continuous  run of Software to give hard Fault error to access Wrong Address?okay as CBIT we are Calling the Function in Every 3 Minutes , so Based on this Around 80 Execution. so Why Micro Controller took 80 Execution to Give Hard Fault Error ? why we Didn't Get Immediate hard Fault error for Accessing Wrong Address why it's took 80 Execution to give hard Fault error and why always it Consistent with 80 Execution not be

I'm have the HAL_I2CEx_ConfigDigitalFilter call in my H743VIT6 code with the setting of zero.The AI recomends 4 to take out 8ns noise pulses, RF; etc., but where is the STM documentation or an AN about this, and the analogue filter?Its not in the RM0433 bible as far as I can search.

I'm using stm32u535RCT mcu and I've requirement of zero crossing detection using analog watchdog.I need 6 channels and configured DMA circular buffer to collect 1Kb data on each channel. Channel 5 is mapped to analog watchdog.Here I want to understand in callback how do I get channel 5 last sampled data.Should I calculate by calculating the index with help of NDTR register or how.  

Where using a STM32G081EBY6TR 25-pin wlcsp - package This part doesn't seem to have pins for a external clock pins.  Just making sure that the internal clock is sufficient to handle USB-PD.  It say's that 6 to 18mhz is fine, but really its looking for 6 to 12mhz.  The internal one is 16Mhz.  

Hi, Currently I working with Nucleo-H7S3L8 board and trying get XSPI interface up by trying to read memory device ID in STR OPI mode. It is not working yet.Can someone share detailed steps to get it to working stage? I am able to read id in single SPI mode. Thanks, Samiksha

We're bringing up yet another custom board with the STM32H735 as the core processor. Built the first one, handed it to the software guy, and a few minutes later he says it's broken. Won't program, won't go to DFU mode, nothing. "You must have zapped it by accident!" Grumble.....get out the hot air gun and swap the part. At least it's a QFN100 and not some BGA package. Fixed, dropped it on his desk. Go to lunch.Phone rings. "It's broken again. As soon as I downloaded code it died." Aaarrggghh! Back from lunch, steam off processor #2, install #3. This time, I'll make sure. Create a new IOC file, populate it with all the right pin settings, configure the peripherals, generate code in CubeMX, open project in CubeIDE. So far, so good. Add a couple lines to flash the debug blinkylight, hit download. Code downloads, processor goes away. No blinky. No nothin'. Vcore is at zero. On power-up, but NOT after hardware reset, there's a momentary blip on Vcore followed by a decay to ground. Some

Hi everyone.I'm using the STM32U073Mx / LQFP-80 pin.While designing a schematic, I ran out of ports, so I'm curious to see if I can use the VDD (battery voltage) to VBAT pin trick to measure the battery voltage. I'm looking at the datasheet and reference manual(RM0503).For reference, I'm using VREF+ as an Internal voltage reference mode to measure the temperature sensor (will use thermistor's power source), so I can no longer use the VREF+ pin as an input.So, I'm trying to configure it as needed.When measuring the thermistor temperature sensor, I use VREFBUFF(Internal voltage reference mode) to power the thermistor. And for normal ADC operation, VREFBUFF(maybe Hold mode) is connected as the ADC reference voltage.Anyway, I found the following sentence in the RM documentation, and I'd like to know its exact meaning.[Temperature sensor, DAC output, VREFINT and VBAT internal channelsThe temperature sensor is connected to channel ADC VIN[11].The internal voltage reference VREFINT is co

Hello,    I have designed a custom PCB using STM32N657I0HxQ and W25Q32JWZPIQ NOR flash. I am following the STM32N6 FSBL Load & Run tutorial https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-create-an-stm32n6-fsbl-load-and-run/ta-p/768206 , but have trouble getting the application running. I am using below setup:STM32CubeIDE - v1.19.0STM32CubeProgrammer -v2.21.0STM32CubeMX - v6.15.0I have created a custom external memory loader for W25Q32JWZPIQ and able to connect device in Dev boot mode (BOOT1 -1, BOOT0-0) and flash FSBL-trusted.bin and Appli-trusted.bin at 0x70000000 and 0x70100000 respectively. Also, I am able to verify the contents.  When I connect to Flash boot mode (BOOT1-0, BOOT0-0), Led is not blinking. I tried to debug by setting device into Dev mode and run FSBL directly into internal RAM, I can see the FSBL is properly copying the application code to 0x34000000 but JumpToApp() ends up in fault.I have tried the belowFSBL-t

Hi,I’m using the STM32G491RET6 MCU and currently working on the ADC.I have three analog inputs:Two connected to ADC1One connected to ADC2At the moment, the ADCs are configured to use an external VREF+.I would like to switch to the internal reference instead:How do I configure the ADC to use the internal reference?How do I enable and configure VREFBUF?Does changing the VREFBUF voltage scaling affect the VREFINT value used by the ADC?If I use the internal reference, can the external VREF+ pin be left unconnected or removed?Any guidance or example configuration would be appreciated.

I am using STM32U575 (MCLK = 160 MHz) with ADC1 in scan mode (4 channels).ADC conversions are triggered by TIM3 TRGO and results are transferred by DMA in circular mode.Continuous conversion is disabled.TIM3 is configured to trigger ADC every 100 us (10 samples per ms).ADC results are copied to a snapshot buffer in HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback().In the application task, ADC values are read from this snapshot buffer every 100 us.However, I observe repeated ADC values (e.g. A, A, B, B…) instead of updated data at each 100 us read.Reducing the application read rate decreases the number of repeated samples.  Is this behavior expected when using ADC scan mode + DMA circular?What is the recommended way to ensure ADC data is updated strictly at 100 us intervals(1 ms / 10 samples) without repeated values?Should ADC data be processed only in the DMA transfer complete callback,or is there a better synchronization method? Related code: //task for (uint8_t i = 0; i < POINTS_PER_MS

Hi there,I'm attempting to use an STM32 U5 device to interface with another device over SPI, and am trying to do it using 48 bit SPI frames supported by this device.An illustration of what I'm trying to accomplish is below, the key is to be able to transmit and receive 48 bits of SPI data, and then cycle the CS (aka NSS) line between frames. I've successfully accomplished this by putting the SPI driver into 16 bit mode, and using the HAL to send 3 16 bit frames at a time, but this is proving to be pretty slow in terms of how fast the U5 can execute the 10 or so frames required. I do know the content of all the MOSI data at compile time, so I was wondering if there's a good way to use DMA (possibly with the linked list setup) to do this and move some of the load off the CPU, but so far I can't find a solution that allows the transmission of the 10 48-bit frames while also cycling the CS line between frames.Does anyone have any recommendations? 

Hello all, I've come here for a issue I failed to debug. My setup is as follows: I have a NUCLEO-F767Z development board and im debugging/programming it through the onboard STLINKV2 with SWO enabled. I am simply just trying to get a USB device to enumerate. I have configured the USB_FS host to the drive VBUS through pin PG6 where the USB power switcher is on the nucleo. My clock configuration is shown in the attached image. I am trying to complete one – just one – ADC conversion without using DMA. This is sort of a one-off sampling after power-on, and subsquently the regular sequence conversion with DMA is to take over. But I don't get that far.I'm trying to sample ADC1 channel 15, but never get a high EOC flag. I use external ADC (slave) with pins with dual function. And when SPI don't work , on MISO pin can check and "end of conversion". This is when SPI pin NSS is high.So: can I activate pin first like SPI "alternative pin" (pin is input - MISO)  and like GPIO input using pooling or like "EXTI line". Best Regards

Hi, Im using STM32g0b1 ADC in continous mode.I am continously converting channels 0,1 and 2. Everything works perfect when clocking the ADC with PCLK/2.SYSCLOCK is 64MHzPCLK is 64MHz so ADCCLOCK is 32MHz.I get End-of-Conversion Interrupts correctly and each 3rd EOC interrupt I am getting an End-of Sequence interrupt. If I use PCLK/4 (ADCCLOCK 16MHz)  the timing for conversions is seemingly as intended (everything takes exactly double time), however channels get mixed.I found that End-of Sequence interrupt occurs every two conversion (instead of every three conversion) and I can no longer match Conversion results to channels.In fact channel 2 conversion result ends up as first, second or third result within a series. Remark: I started to check for End-of Sequence interrupt only after getting above problem. Is there restriction about clocking the ADC?     

I work on the STM32U5G9J-DK2 and what I noticed, the RTC doesn't accepted properly hour value which is greater than 12. Than calendar doesn't work, don't actuallize and the hours going UP for example from 23 to 24 and from 24 to 25 and so on... It's really strange bcos on the STM32F407 it work flawlesly without any problem. The solution is using 12 hour format write and sign AM/PM by RTC_TimeTypeDef.TimeFormat value 0 = AM, 1 = PM. Then calendar is properly running and if anyone like me want use 24 hour time format it need realised by software.Or if anyone know for this MCU other method to use 24H format by hardware you could be posting below.

Learning on how to code 4x4 keypad with F411RE I came to need to learn timer in order to generate an interrupt (saying simply C function should be called lets say every 1 second) I created STM32 project CubeIDE+CubeMX  selected TIM3 (in Timers)  -> set Clock Source to InternalClock, set Prescaler ( PSC... ) to 8399 ( googled, found example ),set Counter Period to 9999 and set NVIC checkmark for TIM3 (enabled) Saved IOC file and CubeMX generated some code for me.In stm32f4xx_it.c file I added void TIM3_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM3_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END TIM3_IRQn 0 */ HAL_TIM_IRQHandler(&htim3); /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM3_IRQn 1 */ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LD2_GPIO_Port, LD2_Pin); /* USER CODE END TIM3_IRQn 1 */ }and running the code I expected to see blinking LED ( at least wanted no matter 1 sec or 0.5 sec )but nothing happensDid I miss something ? Problem When i call * USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestAttentionI get a OK message response but the callback never gets called.  * USBPD_VDM_SendAttention Curious to know if there's any good way to debug this?  Current debugging stepsI have a STM32G0-Disco board setup to capture the messages over USB-PD and display them with ST's USB-PD monitoring software.  So i know the attention pin is not currently activating.  I have a breakpoint to make sure that USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestAttention is being called.  If i wait a few seconds and then trigger it to call USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestAttention again i get a BUSY error.  So i figure it's trying to send it, it just can't?   My projectI'm using this as my base with a stm32G071- nucleo board.  I grab the CC lines from usb with a breakout board that passes the USB datalines through.  * https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeG0/tree/master/Projects/STM32

Hello STM32N6 Tech support I am writing with reference to power on sequence. My power sequence is as follow1. First VDDA1V8_AON, VBAT and VDD is applied. My VDDIO4 & VDDIO5 is also connected with VDD.2. VDDCORE is supplied from an external SMPS step-down converter. We applied VDDCORE when the PWR_ON signal is high. VDDCORE is also connected with VDDCSI3. On the same PWR_ON my VDD3V3 is switched on. It is connected with VDD33USB.4. On the same PWR_ON my VDDA1V8 is connected. However, the input voltage of VDDA1V8 (linear regulator) is connected with VDD3V3. VDDA1V8 is connected with VDDA18CSI, VDDA18USB, VDDA18ADC.Can you please explain the above mentioned sequence will work for powering on STM32N6. I need comments on the following.1. Step 3 & Step 4 is not strictly defined in Getting started with hardware development for STM32N6 MCUs - Application note.pdf and an6000-how-to-build-the-discrete-power-supply-for-stm32n6-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf.2.
