Hi, I need a little explanation about what is wrong behind my reasoning..I am using STM32F411. reading, two inputs of ADC in scan mode over circular DMA triggered via TIM2 update event.TIM2 is triggering ADC at 100KHz, so I have 50Khz sample rate per adc input. At input of both ADC channels I connected signal generator feeding 1Vrms sine @20KHz.Everything works ok, I am using printf of both channels over (USB-CDC) as  and I can see two sinusoide signals on serial plotter. I am using this serial plotter:https://web-serial-plotter.atomic14.com/ Now the problem and confusion starts here:If I change only TIM2 frequency to 10KHz, I am getting 10X lower sample rate also (now 5KHz pre channel, all checked with Logic Analyzer), but I still can see clear 20KHz sine at serial plotter, without degradation and this contrad

The STM32H743XGH6 is specified to have 1 MB of Flash memory.However, it seems that the following 2 MB address ranges are writable:BANK1: 0x08000000 to 0x080FFFFFBANK2: 0x08100000 to 0x081FFFFFIf the device really has only 1 MB of Flash, I would expect the usable ranges to be:BANK1: 0x08000000 to 0x0807FFFFBANK2: 0x08100000 to 0x0817FFFFAlso, when I executed an erase operation on BANK2, it started erasing from address 0x08100000.My question is:Are the following areas valid and safe to use?BANK1: 0x08080000 to 0x080FFFFFBANK2: 0x08180000 to 0x081FFFFFAny clarification about the actual usable Flash memory area would be appreciated.

I have strange DMA problem with a F303 application, in particular a STM32F303K8 (a STM32F303x6/8 variant).The concept is relatively straightforward.A configured ADC sequence is triggered by timer, the ADC in turn triggers DMA transfers of the conversion results, and the DMA raises the TC interrupt when the specified number of transfers is reached.The problem is, the ADC almost immediately raises the OVR flag (overflow), and the DMA is disabled (CCR.EN is reset).I can't see the reason why.Detailed description of used peripherals / resources :  - ADC1_IN1, ADC1_IN2 & ADC1_IN4, 19.5 cycles, with ADC.CCR CKMODE=3 (synchronous, HCLK/4)  - TIM3 TRGO as ADC trigger (ADC1.CFGR EXTSEL=4, EXTEN = 1), at about 11kHz  - assigned DMA is DMA1 Channel 1 (see RM0316 Rev 10, table 77 at page 268)DMA is configured in circular mode, peripheral-to-memory transfer, memory increment, and half-word transfers.At the moment I

Hi, For STM32F446RET6, I want to use the DAC function of it. But I have some question. 1. If I don't use the output buffer, what is the output range? From the datasheet I think it should be 0.5mV to 3.3V±1LSB？2. If I use the output buffer, what is the output range? From the datasheet I think it should be 0.2V to 3.1V？(My VDDA=VREF is 3.3V) 3. For this 12-bit DAC, its minimum output cannot be 0V (regardless of whether a buffer is used). So how should I adjust its output? Hello dear ST forum.I need again you precious help.I am working on a data acquisition device, and need to get 14bit data from a parallel ADC connected on DCMI pins,at 48MHz, and move it to a 32MB SDRAM (W9825G6KH-6I) till almost full. The MCU is STM32H743IIT6.After reading, and reading, I did understand that the only available way, is to use MDMA linked list. Create 255 nodes and transfer the 16 bit data to the SDRAM. Can someone point me the right direction?   

Hello,I am in the process of designing a product which is based on the STM32-H753 and requires P/SRAM.However, I'm concerned the H753 might not support on PSRAM with QSPI, I need the PSRAM for write/read.I haven't found any application notes or examples from ST showing connection QSPI PSRAM into the STM32  only for FMC or OCTOSPI Flash.Has anyone successfully used QSPI PSRAM with STM32H7 ?Are the specific requirements or limitation I should be aware of ?(attached reference images for context):

Hello, I am trying to make a write into flash driver but I am having some issues.I know that the only way to write a 1 to the memory is by clearing the whole page, but I am having issues writing 0s.By reading the manual I encountered: Bit 2 PGERR: Programming error Set by hardware when an address to be programmed contains a value different from '0xFFFF' before programming. Does that mean I can only write 0s once to each addres per page clear?If this is the case, why is that? Wouldn't I be capable of writinng indefinetly when I am not trying to write any 1 in the memory?

I am implementing a high-speed, continuous UART loopback system using the GPDMA Standard circular mode on an STM32N6 series microcontroller. If have read the RM0456 and could not found a detailed description.If I switch the option byte DUALBANK to 0 single-bank mode, what will happen if I access a address which is normally supposed to be in bank 2? Do I get a memory access error?So is my assumption correct? That would mean switching on the single bank mode of a 2MB device, I can only used 1MB of the first bank? best regards P.

Hello ST Community team,On the DS11532: The title of the Figure 20 should be changed to avoid any confusion between figure 20 and figure 21.Also, the note under figure1 is not really clear since the STM32F767 TFBGA216 for example is not compatible pin to pin with the STM32F469 TFBGA216. Hi, I do not have a lot of experience with the STM32. I used other processors in the past like the LCP1768. We developed a custom bootloader to be able the load a new firmware into the uProcessor.   In our current case, the STM32G474 is connected by USB to our PC software. Is it possible to give the processor a command to reboot in bootloader-mode. Because the boot-pin is already in use by the I2C-bus. Is this possible with the normal bootloader or do we need to develop our own bootloader to do this? Where can I find information to do this? Thanks in advance. With kind regards, ErX

Hi Pascal, Any updates on our previous thread? When testing the same firmware with the EN pin pulled up, we are facing some issues during operation. After about 5–6 operation cycles, the system stops working until the MCU is reset. The issue still persists — could you please suggest what board-level changes might be needed to resolve this? Additionally, we are facing another issue on the CubeMX side: USB PD works well separately,TouchGFX works fine separately. But in our application, we need both to run together. If I disable TouchGFX, USB PD starts working. However, when I try to enable both TouchGFX and USB PD in the IOC file, CubeMX shows an error saying only one can be used at a time. Hello,I designed a custom PCB using the STM32H745IIT6 (LQFP176) and I cannot connect to the MCU using SWD with an ST-LINK V2. I always get “Error in final launch sequence / No device found on target”. Hardware summary: VDD, VDDA, VREF+ → 3.3V VCAP1/2/3 → 2.2 µF VDDLDO → not connected BOOT0 → GND NRST → 10k pull-up + 100nF Board current consumption: 8.5 mA SWD wiring: SWCLK → PA14 SWDIO → PA13 NRST → NRST GND → GND 3.3V → board 3.3V rail (sense) SWO not connected 10k resistors on SWCLK/SWDIO were removed for testing. Observations:

  Good day! I use TIM15 and DMA1, channel 5 in STM32H743. If DMA and data have a size of 32-bit, then everything works fine. If you configure DMA on 16-bit data, then 32-bit data is still written to the TIM5 registers. In order to save memory, I want to write 16-bit values ​​to the timer. In the documentation I read that DMA1 works only in 32-bit data mode. Is there any way to force DMA1 to transfer data to the timer in 16-bit mode, or even better in 8-bit? Andrey.

I've searched and not found anything describing this behaviour (on the internet or this forum, which I've found to be an incredible resource so far - thank you).I have a configuration where I go into STOP, exit out of STOP via EXTI, start TIM1, allow the stack to unwind to leave HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(), and then SLEEP. With this sequence, I expect a TIM1 interrupt but never hear one.Conversely, if I enter SLEEP instead of STOP for the very first step but perform all of the other steps identically, I get the behaviour I'm looking for - an EXTI, then a period asleep, then a TIM1 callback. This tells me that the STOP is interfering with the configuration of the timer somehow, in a way that I haven't been able to figure out how to recover from.I've tried, after exiting STOP, to re-issue a call to HAL_TIM_Base_MspInit and MX_TIM1_Init but this has not helped. Removing the final SLEEP and spin-waiting has also not helped.

Hi, I am currently trying to make a single pulse test jig I can use to test MOSFETs in an series resonant converter. I am using the STM32F411CEU6.  I am trying to make a state machine that can make these signals at two different pins. The two variable periods I would like to control with a potentiometer connected to ADC1_IN1 and ADC1_IN2. However, I only see a high pulse on one of the output and only low on the other. I am trying to use TIM2 as an output compare timing mode where I am using the four different channels and their respective CCRx to toggle the output how I want them. I have tried debugging my code.
