Hi all.I'm working on a project with STM32H7 and I've got a question:I'm doing some experiments with ADC multichannel and wacthdog enabled to launch an interrupt of One of the Channel measured level passes the alert level (High threshold).Everything works fine but here the question:If more than 1 Channel Is linked to a wacthdog, how can I distinguish what channel caused the interrupt to be launched?

Hi,New to STM32 I'm discovering the STM32L072CZ, I'm trying to access the AHB2 bus by SWD interface in order to r/w on addresses (say 0x4800 0000 on peripheral GPIOA). When performing a coresight read on 0x48000000 I got 0xBC11477.After checking Ultra-low-power STM32L0x2 advanced Arm®-based 32-bit MCUs - Reference manual page 56/1009 it says "After each device reset, all peripheral clocks are disabled (except for the SRAM and MIF).Before using a peripheral you have to enable its clock in the RCC_AHBENR,RCC_APB2ENR, RCC_APB1ENR or RCC_IOPENR register."I have no clue how to access RCC_AHBENR since RCC is defined on AHB1.Trying to read on the boundary address 0x40021000-0x400213FF gives in cycle 0xbc11477 0xf0000040 (unspecified error) 0x0...

Hello all,In my design, I wish to use the STM32H725RGV6 (VFQFPN 68pin)In this package, there is no embedded LDO.There is no explanation or design example for the use the embedded SMPS in this package...should I connect the SMPS output directly to VCORE?ThanksNir 

Dear Team,We are using the STM32G473VET6 microcontroller with the IMP34DT05TR microphone, utilizing the serial audio interface with DMA.The current buffer size is set to 1000 samples. However, we are encountering an issue where only half of the buffer is being filled, with the remaining portion returning zero values, resulting in incomplete recordings (attached screenshot for reference.)Could you please advise on how to resolve this?Best,AiROT

Hi all,we have a custom board with STM32H753 MCU and a DP83848 PHY. When configuring the PHY in loopback mode I can send and receive messages as expected. But when not in loopback mode we can receive data but the Tx path is not working.As the loopback mode is working and it's happening on every instance of the board the problem should be related to the connection between DP83848 and the 74990101210 RJ45 LAN transformer, but we're not seeing anything odd.  Does anyone sees a problem in this schematic?best regardsMatthias  

Hi everyone,We are currently designing a board which integrate a STM32L071Ux  with UFQFPN32 pinout.In the pin description of this package, it is indicated that pin VDDIO2 supply PA11 and PA12.As we are not using some pins including PA11 and PA12, we are thincking about not connected VDDIO2 to power supply.I didn't find more info about the goal of the VDDIO2 pin, can it has side effects on this microcontroller ?And if not using PA11 and PA12 is it recommended to connect or disconnect VDDIO2 pin ?Thank you for your time.Yohann

There seems to be conflicting information about FMC support on the STM32F446RE board. As the spec sheet says that it doesn't have support for FMC while the stm32f4 series product page says it has FMC. I have attached some files showing this contradiction. What should I believe in?, the specific board revision is MB1136 C-04 A220702108. Thanks in advance. 

Currently I'm programming a smaller data collector which also opens some power FETs.My problem is, that the voltages I want to monitor are sent into a voltage divider so the Nucleo can sense it without any damege to it. For the voltage measurement I'm using ADC2 which connects to PA4,PA5 and PA6. While in theory this would work I noticed, that when I want to Initialize GPIOB on which I use PB5 and PB6 as outputs. The resistance of PA drops significantly, which results in the voltage dividers ratio changing. My question would be: How can I keep PA6 in a high impedance floating state, while also using PB6 as an output?Changing to another output is not an option, since the extention board uses these outputs.

Hi Team, Working on a custom design using STM32H750 and 2 Winbond W989D6DBGX6E LPSDR memory devices configured for 32b bus. The Design passes memory test at FMC_SDCLK@80Mhz.The Design fails memory test at FMC_SDCLK@100Mhz.When checking the signal timing, FMC_SDNWE was observed as marginal. The design configured I/O High Speed Low voltage and I/O compensation.Checking the IO types for FMC_SDNWE io pins, the pin options DO NOT indicate the pin is _h type for High speed low voltage. What would be the cause of the timing violation?

I used the exemple provided in the CubeMX repo to try a dummy read/write, but the initialization process stall in the SD_PowerON() function.After some debugging, i found out that I get random error messages :SDMMC_ERROR_CMD_RSP_TIMEOUTSDMMC_ERROR_COM_CRC_FAILEDSDMMC_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_FEATUREI tried dozens of clock configurations with no success, so I went on to inspect the CMD pin during initialization. Clearly there's a problem, but I have no idea what could be the reason.Here is the whole frame from the start of the initialization process until it returns to the error. We can clearly see that the CMD function from the host is clean (at the beginning at least). But the SD Card as trouble bringing the line down when it answer. Currently, I’m working with the Nicla Vision board that features an STM32H747AII6 microcontroller with dual cores: Cortex-M7 (CM7) and Cortex-M4 (CM4). What I’ve Done So Far: Arduino IDE Success:I managed to create a simple LED blink project using the Arduino IDE, controlling LEDs from both CM7 and CM4 without any issues. The LEDs blink as expected. STM32CubeIDE Attempt:To deepen my understanding, I tried replicating the project in STM32CubeIDE. Here’s my approach: I enabled GPIOs, set up the RCC HSE ceramic resonator, and configured the clocks. Hello, I am trying to set the device into standby mode before the actual code execution. I have set a pin as a wake-up source from standby mode and I need to run the actual code after waking up from standby mode. The workflow seems to work, for instance it goes to standby mode and when an interrupt comes from the pin the system wakes-up and starts the actual code execution. When it comes to enable a pin with HAL_GPIO_WritePin then the system crashes and it reset again. This is causing a loop of standby mode and wake up event which I don't want. I need the standby to run only once before the actual code. So for that I use this code:  1) It enters into the standby mode since the check_reset_source returns 0 from the first execution of the program2) Then an interrupt comes to the pin and the system wakes-up from standby mode.3) It starts again  and after peripheral initialization check_reset_source returns 1 and then it goes to th

Hello there, We are designing the STM32U535 to operate in a low-power configuration. According to the datasheet, the current consumption in Run mode is 16.3 μA/MHz at 3.3 V, which is quite low. However, when measuring the actual device, even after subtracting the current used by the components on the board, we observe the following: System startup: 1.5 mA System clock setting: 6.4 mA These values indicate that a significant amount of current is being consumed. The main clock settings are as follows: High-Speed Clock (HSE): Crystal SYSCLK: 16 MHz, HCLK: 16 MHz Low-Speed Clock (LSE): Crystal USB: 48 MHz MCO: 8 MHz Given this configuration, what settings are necessary to achieve further power consumption reduction? Hi,we are facing a strange problem. We are trying to boot up into USART1 bootloader by applying the correct pattern (BOOT0, BOOT1 pins).Then communicate with the system bootloader on USART1 (in this case 4800 Baud, even parity).There is just silence on the line.Something is probably making the bootloader communicate on different periphery (this is the theory). I tried to attach to the running target via Jlink and it is clearly spinning withing the system memory range (bootloader's memory) - the last time I checked it stopped on address 0x1fff2d5a. This is tested on a real PCB assembly v1. However I measured almost all the bootloader peripheral input pins and no activity on neither of them. Of course I tested the same on a bare MCU wired on a breadboard and no problem to get into the bootloader mode - as well as on Nucleo. The question:Is here some

Hi, when i try to build my current project i get: called object is not a function or function pointer in the stm32f103xb.h for whatever peripheral i use. I have an STM32H745 Discovery board. The first problem I encountered was when I was creating interfaces using TouchGFX. I could upload them to the microcontroller via the application without any issues, but when I uploaded the code file through CubeIDE, I encountered a problem. I discovered that I needed to include a boot file. Once I did that, it worked, and the interfaces appeared, allowing me to modify and upload them. However, when I added the USB host initialization, the screen froze without me adding any line of code. After that, the microcontroller refused to accept any code. I had to use the reset button with CubeProgrammer in power-down mode to restore it before it could take the code again. I tried testing the microcontroller by uploading a colored background code. The code uploaded successfully, but nothing appeared on the screen. Note that I have a demo from Embedded Wizard, and when I upload it, the

I'm new to microcontrollers. I bought a Nucleo-H755ZI-Q, I connect it to my PC, I make a simple program like turning on and off a LED but the card doesn't do it. I don't know if I have to make any adjustments because it's new.

I redid FatFS to work async or in polling mode. Works well on my STM32H755zi, on CM4. Most functions are enabled, though I didnt do all of them. Hello, I'm studying the STM32F767 MCU, and I noticed that in STMCubeIDE is possible to configure if the speculation is permitted, but I didn't find an explanation of this feature. If I set Speculation disabled, do I set the flash strongly-ordered? Does speculation concern only the flash or it concerns also the other memories? Thank you

Dear STM32 Community, I am currently working on a project using the STM32F072RBT6 microcontroller, where I have implemented a custom bootloader to load an application program into flash memory. However, after the bootloader successfully writes the application binary, the stack pointer does not correctly jump to the application’s address, and the application fails to execute.  MCU Model: STM32F072RBT6 Bootloader Functionality: The bootloader receives the application binary and writes it to flash memory at the designated application address. Application Flash Address: 0x08004000 Problem: After the bootloader completes, I attempt to jump to the application by setting the stack pointer and program counter accordingly, but the application does not start. Hello,i use at a STM32F429 the PD5 pin to drive a PNP BJT transistor to switch a sensor supply:PD5 is configured as open drain, and when the stm32 is pulling PD5 low, the transistor supplies the sensor with 5V power. This works so far.But when PD5 is in open drain, the voltage at PD5 is 3,97V and at the transistor base it is 4,39V.So there is a current of 4,2µA from the transistor base into PD5 pin. This is too much for the transistor for switching off.The behavior would be explainable when PD5 would be a "normal" IO-Pin:3,97V is around 3,3V plus the internal protection diode.But PD5 is a FT GPIO Pin, 5V tolerant I/O.The datasheet specifies a maximum Ilkg at
