Hi,I am using STM32H753XIH6 in a new design. The PCB is already manufactured, ready for the assembly. The issue is that I mistakenly designated the pins F1, F2 and G2 as NC in my schematic library model, but realized that the datasheet says they should be tied to VSS (*future readers should refer to the note at the bottom of this message for more precise explanation.) My question is, what would be the effect of leaving the pins F1, F2 and G2 floating?I will consider some post-manufacturing rework ideas with the assembly service company, but in case we cannot come up with a good solution, it is best to know how the part would behave (work, do not work, work unexpectedly, work with lower speed or higher power consumption, etc) if it is powered up while those pins are left floating. * F1:  This ball should not remain floating. Hello everyone,I am encountering difficulties with a project. I decided to use an STM32H7B0 microcontroller, which I had previously used in other projects, for a new application. However, I have encountered a difficulty due to the signal propagation delays between the core and the GPIO peripherals.Specifically, I need to wait for the state change of an input and immediately change the state of an output pin at a particular point in the code. The pins are already allocated on two ports and I cannot change them at the moment (the need is for multiple inputs and outputs).The issue is that the propagation time, besides being excessively long (currently not below 200ns), is not stable.I am working at 280MHz, have DMA enabled for ADC, and disable interrupts during the execution of this code. Hello, I have a STM32F411 and I am ready using the SDIO port, I would like to connect 2 SDCARD to the SDIO port and be able to switch from one to another like using a CS Chip select GPIO. Is it possible ? how would I do that ? Thanks Vincent  

Hi,One of our project is using the STM32U575 and we use the ADCs analog watchdog feature of the CPU. At the beginning of the project, we did not used the ADC oversampling, but for stability and reliability purpose, we have turned on the ADC oversampling on ADCs.Reading the RM, the ADCs analog watchdog thresholds need some adjustements when used in oversampling mode, but it is not clear about that, and the STM32 HAL / LL comments are not giving the same values that the RM. 1/ In the RM rev 4.0, in the note of the Table 313 (Chapter 33.4.30), it is written that the watchdog comparison is performed when the oversampling, gain and offset are complete.2/ In RM chapter 33.4.31 (about oversampler), it is also written that the comparison is done on the oversampled accumulated value BEFORE shifting. However, the note right after (which is probably a copy paste from the same capter for ADC4) tells that the oversampler shift value

Hiin my project I have enabled FreeRTOS, so the NVIC prios 0-4 are reserved for FreeRTOS.I need to generate a highly accurate 1 sec timer interrupt.Is it correct that FreeRTOS interrupts might delay my (cortex) timer intterupt handlers to be called?Is there a way to figure out what the jitter of my timer will be?Thx

Hello I have project where is used a STM32F103RGT6 (1Mbit flash and 96 kb SRAM) in LQFP-64 package.Is there a replacement for this MCU with more SRAM and faster clock? I found a STM32F415RGT6 with the same package, bigger SRAM size 192 kb versus 96 kb, and faster clock 168 MHz versus 72 MHz and almost same pinout :\STM32F103RGT6 has VCAP pins where I should place the capacitor between this pin and GND. The PCB is not my project so I can't change PCB layout, originally on this was placed the Mind Motion MM32 MCU (in my opinion copy of STM) . Maybe someone of you knows the good replacement with ideal pinout?In my priority is a SRAM memory, next faster clock and at end flash size (minimum 512 kbit) :) 

I currently have ADC1 working with DMA at 14 MHz so my sample rate is 1 Msps I believe. I want to double my sample rate, so I thought I could use both ADCs with DMA and interleave the buffer data. My issue is that when I am trying to configure ADC2, there is no "DMA Settings" tab, and when I go to adjust the DMA configuration, I am not able to add a DMA request for ADC2. I've successfully established a PPPoS (iusing Ethernet LWIP) connection and obtained the modem IP on the STM32F407. Hi,I am designing a system that will be using an STM32F411 microcontroller as the hardware application processor, the system will also have onboard a Single board computer module running Linux.  While the application processor will take care of the majority of the hardware interface because of the realtime nature of the application,  the SBC will be hosting the user interface, provide logging services, network access as well as management/supervisory functions, this is I think a fairly typical system for a real-time control architecture. The SBC I am using is a plug in compute module, this is a read-made plug and play system that runs Linux, my application board provides the power and other ancillary interface hardware. I am in the design phase, and I have a question about programming the STM32 micro. I have come across a rather weird problem and would like to get some direction.I am using STM32F756 nucleo board. I set ADC1 to trigger by TIM1 (the complete project uses some other peripherals). TIM1 is set as PWM generation. All these are set using CubeMX in CubeIDE. In ADC setup, continuous DMA request is enabled, continuous conversion disabled. Trigger set to TIM1 update event (also tried with external trigger and shorting TIM1 output to EXTI pin with jumper). ADC1-DMA is set to circular mode. In the code, I start ADC with "HAL_ADC_StartDMA" before starting the timer. To start the timer, I copied "HAL_TIM_StartPWM" and made another method, let's say, "Private_TIM_StartPWM" which is almost identical to the HAL method except it doesn't have the "__HAL_TIM_ENABLE" call at the end. So, when calling this method, TIM1 is set up for PWM generation but the counter remains idle and will be enabled separately later.Now onto the problem, in the code, before TIM1 can be enable

I have an STM32F407G discovery development kit. We are embedding the software into this kit entirely using Embedded Coder through Simulink. We needed to use CANBUS to transfer the data we read from the board to the computer (via MATLAB). However, when CANBUS is activated through CubeMX, only the HAL library can be selected as a library, and the LL library cannot be selected. When generating code suitable for the board with MATLAB, code generation can only be done if the LL library is selected. We request your support in solving this issue. We would appreciate it if you could help.

Short story: the X-NUCLEO-LPM01A is displaying higher current in low power modes than expected by the STM32U083 datasheet and the numbers shown on the LCD of the STM32U083C-DK.Set up:I followed this post to connect the X-NUCLEO-LPM01A to the STM32U083C-DK. I had sought help a while back for code on establish FDCAN communication in Classic mode between H7A3ZI-Q and G474RE, I did get the correct code and it indeed worked with the two boards, but now when I try to run it on Normal mode, the code fails to recieve data on the other end. It would be really helpful if someone explains how to do so. Please find attached zip files containg the code for FDCAN communication in Classic Mode.

Hello.I have problems to get DMA with ADC working.I'd like to collect 2 values from PA3 and PA4 and store them in an array (convertedData_u16). I configured ADC1 with Channels 8 and 9, and GPDMA1 with Channel1.I can see that data is being collected in ADC1->DR (cannot validate if they are plausible at the moment).What I also see is that the clocks for GPIOA, ADC1 and GPDMA1 are enabled (RCC_AHB1ENR->GPDMA1EN = 1; RCC_AHB2ENR1->GPIOAEN = 1; RCC_AHB2ENR1->ADC12EN = 1) and ADC1 (ADC1_CR->ADEN = 1) and GPDMA1 Channel1 (GPDMA_C1CR->EN = 1) are enabled.However, I have not achieved to get data into convertedData_u16.What is wrong with my code? However, I think my question does refer to the internal microcontroller (STM32G431VBTx) and not the motor controller.Timer TIM3 does trigger an interrupt every 10 ms.The Interrupt starts a conversion of ADC2, which reads the channels IN3 (single ended), IN4 (signle ended), IN8 (single ended), and VOPAMP3 channelA single conversation should take about 60 µs (ADC_CLK = 170 MHz / 4; 640.5 Cycles per Channel; 4 * 640.5 / 42.5 MHz = 60 µs)VOPAMP3 is configured as PGA Internally Connected with a gain factor of 32.The measured voltages of IN3, IN4, and IN8 are ok.The output voltage of VOPAMP3 is different than expected.According to the datasheet of the microcontroller (5.3.22 Operational amplifiers

However, I cannot get the current this low, even according to the data sheet, the max current consumption for Vcore=1.2V should be 0.2mA.To test the minimum current for the board, I have set up the following:Using the MSI oscillator as the system clock.Configured MSI for range1 (131.072kHz).Set Vcore to 1.2VSet SLEEP_PD in FLASH_ACR register to switch of Flash while asleep.LPRUN and LPSDSR bits set in PWR_CRSet SLEEPDEEP bit in system control register (to stop the MCU) PDDS bit=0 and WUF bit =0 in PWR_CR.Timer2 clock is enabled.Is there anything I am missing on how to reduce the current consumption?RegardsAlvin

Hi everyone,I want to connect 2 stm32 via SPI DMA mode. My wish is that the master first sends 512 bytes of command to the slave, then the slave processes this data to respond to the master. On the master side, the delay between sending 512 command bytes and sending 512 dummy bytes is 10 (ms). As for the slave side, the delay time between receiving 512 command bytes and 512 dummy bytes from the master is 5 (ms), but currently the system is not working as I want when the slave cannot respond data to the master the second time it receives a clock pulse from the master. P/s: on the slave side I use SPI DMA mode and on the master side I use SPI Polling. I tried to change the delay time between transmission and reception on both the master and slave sides but all failed. I think the problem is that I call the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA function twice within the while loop, do I need to disable DMA after the first receive and re-enable DMA to call the HAL_SPI_Tran

Hi Folks,This has been driving me crazy. I'm using a Nucleo-L031 board and it's connected to a I2C TCA9548A 1:8 multiplexer. I am trying to read 4 sensors connected to the mux chip. I have 4.7K pullups installed at the Nucleo's I2C pins.
