STM32 MCUs Products

Hello!! I'm trying to use both CAN peripherals in an STM32F446RET6R on a custom PCB, but something is not going well enough. I've done the basic configuration using the STMCubeIDE platform (I'll add the code later, but first I want to know if someone has had similar issues with this microcontroller). The problem is that if I only configure one peripheral, CAN1 (the Master), everything works okay—no error bits in SFRs, no BUSOFFs or anything like that, everything is transmitted and received well. But when I configure CAN2 (SLAVE), CAN1 continues working perfectly, but CAN2 starts sending frames with CRC errors and corrupted data (I'm using CANoe to read the messages). The TEC bit starts incrementing until the node gets stopped. The flags raised when the transmission stops are TEC, EPVF, and EWGF. Hello, so I am completely new to working with STM boards in general. I just got a brand new stm32f446re board, and I tried to upload some code to it through Linux. And I do mean brand new, I haven't uploaded or downloaded any code to it before this attempt. However, when I attempted to do so, I got an error message:"WARN common.c: unknown chip id! 0x421"So, I looked around for a bit and tried a simple command: st-info --probe to see some internal stuff on it. But I was told this:"No such file or directory version:V2J33S25 serial: 066DFF534871754867255336 flash: 0 (pagesize: 0) sram: 0 chipid: 0x421"   After spending roughly about two weeks trying to find stuff online, I couldn't figure out anything on what to do. So, I am very much open to suggestions if anybody knows anything about this error.

Hallo,I have to question, all about netxduo.1. how to set the pool size of netxduo at the least value possible2. I need to use the mqtt client packet.  Is it necessary also to enable the arp protocol, icmp protocol, the TCP protocol, the udp protocol, create the dhcp client  and the SNTP client? Sorry but I haven't found suffcient documentation about netxduo. Thank you.Any help would be very appreciated. 

Hi,Here is my problem, I need to output two different frequencies on one pin and I can't reconfigure the timer to new arr/psc values for a different frequency because these timers also output the frequency on other pins where the frequency/timer config must remain the same. The pins are all in separate channels from the timer. I just want to be able to switch the pin between two timer outputs. I am completely stuck and look forward to any help!RLD

HI,As I mentioned in the subject, we are using the LWIP stack for the configuration of four different IP's. The IP's got configured and the issue is while trying to ping all the four IP's the ping is happening only for the three IP's and i will share the snip below for reference's and what need to be done for the reliable ping of all four configured IP'S.So please help us regarding this. We are using STM32F105 ADC function in some of our products for temperature sensing, etc. We found that sometimes it has accuracy issue after operating for a while. We suspect that it's the power, resistor, or capacitor we used are not of good enough ratings. Would you please shed some lights on what are the recommended ratings(accuracy, temperature, etc) for these components to get consistent accurate results for these applications? Attached is the diagram of one example. Please let me know if it should be revised.

Hi,as you can see from the screenshot below I have TIM2 clock source set to disable but the PWM is still running as configured and generates PWM. And it has been like that for the entire project for a while so I just noticed.Does the time start function automatically select the source to some default like the Internal clock? Or is that Clock source referring to something else? Just asking because I want to make sure the code is running correctly for the right configuration not because of some other settings that somehow override these.Thank you

Hello, customer using custom F412 based board has a problem entering STM's System bootloader/DFU for FW upgrade (done over USB) when there is an active communication done on the CAN port. E.g. the board is part of the slave HW of the CANopen network which does have its master. At least master on the network periodically sends CANopen heartbeat messages. Our idea is that such messages on CAN bus seems to disturb system boot code as the behavior we see is that reset and enter to sysboot kind of happen but nearly immediately system boot is exited and standard user/FW is booted again.When we disconnect CAN bus such behavior does not happen. The problem with the hardware is that it makes operation of disconnecting from the CAN somewhat difficult. Hence the question: Is it possible to somehow (anyhow) configure system boot/DFU to ignore CAN bus? Thanks!Karel

Good evening community members,today I have been trying to activate USART module of my STM32F446 board. However even after trying everything, I could not sense Tx signal on PA2 pin of the board. This is the low level code I used. I had been trying to capture the signal using Oscilloscope but got nothing. Could someone help me how to resolve the issue? Hello,  I wanted to have SPI with DMA RX, below issues I face: 1. When SPI RX DMA function used with no TX DMA configured in MX (but blocking SPI TX used), It remains in RX busy state 2. When SPI RX DMA function used with blocking TX function, SPI works but code hits breakpoint in TX DMA interrupt, even if DMA SPI TX function not called but SPI TX DMA configured in MX tool. 3. When does DMA interrupt occur for SPI TX and RX? 4. How to check DMA SPI callback Please check above queries 

I am trying to make a music visualizer with led matrix and stm32f411 usb audio functionpreviously , i tried to use stm32f103 blue pill but the usb audio stuck and i can't find the reasonso i purchased the black pill to do it but now the problem is the fft result is always drifted and seems not accuratemy usb audio  sample rate is 48k Hzi have tried kissfft and  the fft in arm_math.h , they have similar resultfor example ,when i play a 5k Hz sound on my pc , would result in peak at around 2.5kHzand some similar peak at around 20kHzi know that some fft result will have symmetric form at with start and end of the output bufferbut i think it is not the casethe video show i do some simple math to display the fft on led matrix from 0-20000Hzthe high frequency is at left , low frequency is at rightand you can see it kind of like being symmetric but not exactly ,especially the hi

What is the difference between Oversampling Continued vs Resumed mode?I understand that in Oversampling Continued without resetting the accumulator in between individual samples for that channel. Resumed Mode resets it.I don't understand the implication on the final output for Scan Conversion Multi Channel Oversampled ADC. I have argued with ChatGPT for soo long. Hi,I'm trying to apply an Offset on the ADC, I'm using a H743. I'm pretty sure I have the ADC working correctly, because measuring temperatures (MCU internal and one external) as well as measuring some voltages on my board result in plausible values.Now I have to read some currents, but I there is an offset of about -0.2A when the line is in idle. I have:Calibrated the ADC.Set the ADC to 12 bit.Left shift the result by 4 bit, back to an uint16.Wait until the reading is stable, this means that only the two LSB change for 100 ms.Then I get the value from the JDR1 (I'm using injected conversions) and subtract 2^15-1 from that, since the expected value would be 1.25V and VDDA is 2.5V. I set the difference (which is negative) as the offset and apply that to the channel. But then my reading is too high. Hi,I am having a hard time trying to configure the uC (STM32F446, but that is not important) to output a crafted signal via the Output Compare mode via DMA.What I want is to output a digital signal, that is created via Toggling the Channel Output Pins with the Output Compare register. I can output the signal through one of the pins associated to the Channel or Negated Channel, but not both at the same time without adding some dirty code (I wish to use the HAL)With "HAL_TIM_OC_Start_DMA" I can output the signal to the Normal channel and with HAL_TIM_OCN_Start_DMA I can output the signal through the Negated channel, But I cant get to find a way to output the same signal (or negated) through the Normal and Complementary Channels with the configuration options that the HAL provides.The only way I have found to do it is by starting the OC with the normal HAL function "HAL_TIMEx_OCN_Start" and then "restarting it" with the DMA HAL function, lik

UM2033 mentions that Wi-fi connector of stm32f769i-discovery development board can be configured for i2c board using signals EXT_SCL and EXT_SDA that are connected to PG3 and PG6, however datasheet of MCU (DS11532) these pins do not support I2C.Is this configuration intended for a software solution?

HelloI'm using the latest HAL library for STM32F030.  I've set up a 512 byte transmit buffer for holding bytes that are to be transmitted out the UART using DMA in circular mode.  The goal is to treat this 512 byte buffer as a circular transmit queue using queue head and queue tail variables as indexes into the buffer.  The qhead index controls where characters to be transmitted are to be inserted into the 512 byte buffer by my firmware.  The qtail index is used to control the start address for where the DMA is supposed to transmitting from.  As bytes are added into the transmit buffer, my firmware manages wrapping the data from the end of the buffer back to the beginning of the buffer.  Then, using the UART transmit DMA in DMA_CIRCULAR mode, the goal would be to have the DMA perform a similar process - automatically wrapping from end of buffer back to the beginning of the buffer to finish the transmission when necessary.  For the very first

Hi,Is there any one success with ESP-PSRAM64H in memory mapped mode?We are able to read ID (0x9F) in spi mode. But when we read/write, it return 0xFF. We don't see EnableWrite command, does this chip has EnableWrite command?We also wanted to use this memory as RAM so we can read and write from a pointer. But how we send Read and Write command Id at the same time when set register at memory mapped mode?Many thanks
