Hi there,I am using two STM32H723ZGT communicating via FDCAN2 instance (FDCAN, no bit rate switch, 12500 bit/s). Both controller use the same FDCAN initialization code, but different filter IDs.As shown below, the message is transfered on receiver CAN_Rx (upper trace) and acknowledged on sender CAN_Rx (lower trace), but neither the HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo0Callback() nor HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo1Callback() is triggered. When the receiver is shut down, the ackowledge disapears, so the message seems stuck in the the CAN peripherial.

Hello Community, We have issues with a STM32F407G-DISC1 board. We had the board running in our car, but this problem right now can be reproduced on the bench without any PCB. The problem occurs inconsistently. We can break down our problem to a setup where nothing but the DISC board and the ST-Link and Serial port cable are used. Running setup: ST-Link (power) cable connected to the same computer as the USB serial cable. ST-Link jumpers are connected. Serial port sends messages, STM works.  No communication setup: Power cable is connect to the wall/power bank or the STM is powered from a supply or ST-Link jumpers are not connected. It is also not working if we connect the DISC-board with our PCB, which is only a breakout board where pins are connected to connectors. Either modification stops the STM from working. My laptop shows sometimes this message when it is not working. 

The thing is,i have a custom design board with STM32F446RE  and it's Nucleo varianti have a code with multiple timers but when i run the program on my custom board it goes to Hardfault error after a timer callback but the same problem dosent happens with the Nucleo board although the code remains the same

Hello, i am using STM32F411RE with raspberry pi 4. i want to communicate rasp with stm32 through usb cable from pi to CN1 of stm32. i want the communication both ways. could you please tell me how to do it?Thank you in advance.

I have setup Timer 8 to generate PWMs, to modulate a sinewave. I use preload, but that is only used once.I have debugged and compared the registers, but i could not find a cause. I have also partially compared the sram bytes, but i could not find the cause there either. I checked my program too. But now after about 18 hours of searching i have to create this post.Interestingly, it looks like the compare registers dont compare. But it looks to me, like the output is enabled (see picture). Sometimes, the complementary output stays high!Before i post the code, i would like to know if someone knows of any hardware issues/difficulties.A good idea how to troubleshoot this, would be welcome.

This was a tricky bug to find. I am doing context switching. Everything seems to working well until a context switch happens while one of my tasks has called a different function. Specifically, HAL_GetTick(). To be clear the switch is happening while I am in HAL_GetTick(). As I am stepping through everything seems to be fine. The CONTROL register is in thread mode, PSP is pointing to the thread stack. MSP is pointing to my handler stack. LR is pointing to the area HAL_GetTick() was called from. Upon return to the task, PSP suddenly points to the MSP stack. The CONTROL register is still in thread mode and the code proceeds normally, but as soon as I call HAL_GetTick() again, a hard fault is thrown.The fault doesn't happen if a context switch doesn't happen inside a function that the task has called.Yes, I am disabling interrupts when entering the SysTick and PendSV interrupt routines.I am running on a STM32 Nucleo-144 

I am looking at the STM32U073x8/B/C Datasheet - DS14548 - Rev 2 - March 2024.   Table 12 on page 35 is a list of all the pins and which pin they are connected to on each package.   The row for VDDUSB does not have a pin listed for the UFQFPN32 package.   This contradicts Figure 3 on page 27. Which shows pi 17 as the VDDUSB pin.

Hi all,I am working on a motor control project using STM32, and I am trying to calculate the RPM of a BLDC motor using Hall sensor pulses. I have set up a SysTick timer to trigger an interrupt every 1 millisecond, which should increment a counter (sys_tick_count). This counter is then used in my millis() function to calculate elapsed time.However, I am facing an issue where the RPM calculation doesn't seem to trigger because the time difference (time_diff) remains zero throughout the execution. Hi guys, I m having an issue with my Nucleo F401RE. I m porting a code based on the use of SPI2 that worked very well on Nucleo G431RB. Hello ALL,ADC values when 2 channel are disturbed when used in STM32L071 board. i have tried changing the sampling time of channels still no difference the voltage at that pin is around 2.5 volt but the ADC value after conversion i am receiving is around 1100- 1200. i am not using DMA mode can anyone suggest me any other ways to rectify it? Thank you

Hello,I have a strange issue with backup ram in F405. It is battery powered after main power off.When i remove battery and power up board, whole bkpram contains values of 0 - this is normal. Hi I am working on a own prototype.The issue facing is NRST pin pulled low once powered on.Actually it should give me 2V.MCU used is STM32G030K8.and also on checking the PCB tracking its fine .When we checked by removing the MCU chip NRST is 2.0v .What may be the reason ,PLease help

I am trying to test QuadSPI peripheral in the STM32H745BIT6 by carrying out an internal Loopback test. I am apparently not configuring its parameters correctly. Can anyone suggest what configurations I should do for QuadSPI and if there's anything wrong with these functions (the code halts at the breakpoint on the last error handler function inside the QSPI_LoopbackTransmit() function)? main.c code is attached.  

I'm using CubeIDE and I have PG10 configured as MCO output and I see nothing. Usually when I see this, there is a HAL enable command I missed, but I don't think there is in this case.  I've tried multiple clock sources and the pin stays at voltage high. I've checked on all the registers I know:GPIOG   MODER -> MODER10 = 0x2 (alternate function)   AFRL = 0x0   AFRH = 0x0 I suspect that having no alternate function set in AFR\L registers is what is not correctly set, but I don't see the mapping table mentioned in the reference manual:  "Refer to the “Alternate function mapping” table in the device datasheet for the detailed mapping of the alternate function I/O pins."What should these registers be set to for MCO and where is the mapping table?

hello:     I use NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q to implement a bootloader feature:the bootloader runs in 0x08000000 at flash, it'll copy the application stored in 0x08005000 to 0x24000000 in RAM, then jump to 0x24000000, if one LED turns on, indicates jumping to application successfully, and it does, but another two LEDs fail to turn on in a task, I doubt the interrupt fails and the task can't be scheduled, but I've set the SCB->VTOR = 0x24000000 both in bootloader and application, here're some codes in bootloader, plus about application, I use the default ram.ld file generated by the IDE, if I run the application by using the IDE in debug mode, it works well, three LEDs all turn, I don't understand if the bootloader and IDE do the same thing(move application to ram) why the behaviors are different?can you help me to figure out what can be the cause? I'm facing an issue where the Auto Bus-Off recovery isn't happening as expected.When there's a fault on the CAN bus, it correctly transitions to the warning state, then passive, and finally Bus-Off. However, after the fault is resolved, the bus should recover by moving from Bus-Off to passive, warning, and finally back to error-active, but this recovery is not occurring. To save GPIO pins, I would like to use the following architecture:- Connect external HyperRAM and Flash to one OCTOSPI bus. - Use multiplexed mode to access OCTOSPIM_P1 and OCTOSPIM_P2.- Map external RAM and Flash to different addresses by memory mapped modeBased on the information from [this STMicroelectronics application note](https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5050-getting-started-with-octospi-hexadecaspi-and-xspi-interface-on-stm32-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf), it seems possible. Is that correct?Another question: After the memory mapped mode is enabled, the external Flash is read-only, but the external RAM is still readable and writable. Is that correct?

Hi, i start design on G4 and am confused with internal ref in MX.1. Internal REF for ADC isnt real internal, but Vref2.Internal ref for comparators is 1/2 1/4 3/4 ... , but from what ?3. ADC stop working without VREF+ pin voltage, but comparator works4. ADC start working enable out internal ref to VREF buff 5. internal ref can be selected to one from 3 voltages , but after select is global for ??periph ? Can some ST make info short and clean on this pls.
