Hello,For some reason I'm unable to get valid readout of internal MCU temperature. Maybe someone have an ide why this might be happening? System is running on STM32G0B0 MCU. Hello Team,We are facing an issue with the STM32F407ZGT6 microcontroller, specifically with the PC10 pin.Our primary objective is to use PC10 as a clock output pin for SPI communication. However, we observed that the expected clock pulses are not being generated on this pin. To further debug the issue, we wrote a simple test code to toggle PC10 as a GPIO output. Unfortunately, even this basic GPIO operation did not function as expected—there was no voltage change observed on the pin, verified using a multimeter.This unexpected behavior appears to be isolated to the PC10 pin, as the same code works correctly when tested on other GPIOs.We would appreciate it if you could provide your insights on this issue. I am evaluating using SPI and ST's internal System Bootloader for a 2 processor application.To that end, I am attempting to attempt to read in the bootloader via SPI on an STLink V3.I am successfully able to do so for a NUCLEO-L496ZG, but fails for a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q. This is what the traces look like on the Oscilloscope. Yellow is the MISO line.What it isn't:It is not an issue with going into boot mode. I pull Boot0 pin via jumper and press the reset button to put it in boot mode. I am trying to get my STM32F446RE (using STM32CubeIde) into USB DFU mode via firmware rather than using the RST and BOOT0 inputs which are going to switches on the board. I know this is doable but for some reason it is not working for mewhenever I go into JumpToDFUBootloader(void); the windows host computer does nothing looking at windows device manager I should see "STM32 BOOTLOADER" under USB Devices but I do not see this which means the correct processto go into DFU mode is not happening, I notice that if I jump the BOOT0 pin high and execute JumpToDFUBootloader() it does go into USB DFU mode and I can see the "STM32 BOOTLOADER" but unfortunately I DO NOT want to relyon my BOOT0 or RST input pins I just want to go into DFU mode upload new firmware and repower the system to re-initialize into normal operating mode afte a firmware update.Any suggestions or help with this would be greatly apprciatedMy code is below:  

Hi,I'm using an STM32C051K6T6 to read an audio file from FLASH (a book on tape, basically) and output the data over I2S to a codec/amplifier. I would like to understand the drawbacks, if any, of using the internally generated PLLI2SCLK instead of an external clock source (through the I2C_CKIN input) for the I2S clocks. I would prefer to use the PLLI2SCLK so that the pin for I2C_CKIN can be used as a GPIO instead, but I'm uncertain of the impact of doing so. For example, will the audio quality be significantly compromised by using PLLI2CLK instead of an external clock?Thanks,James 

Hi ST-Members,I need to interface a 10.3-inch LVDS display with a resolution of 1920x720 to an STM32F769-disc0. I also have an H743 Nucleo board. Could you please advise on the method I should use to make the display work? Additionally, I plan to initiate TouchGFX for an ECG application.I came across a schematic for an interface board(attached below) from STM32F769-EVL to LVDS in the community. How can I follow this schematic to make it compatible with the F7-DISC0 or H7 Nucleo boards? Alternatively, is there an interface converter board available in the market that converts onboard MIPI DSI to LVDS? I am trying to drive a lc resonator from a h bridge. Frequency of the resonator changes when inductor is loaded. TIM15 creates the complimentary PWM for the H bridge. I need TIM2 to read the new frequency of the resonator so i can adjust the PWM frequency of TIM15. TIM2 will be reading a square wave.I tried this guide(and every other one I could find). I tried DMA. I tried interrupts. I even put a breakpoint inside the HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback. It didn't even get triggered.https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-use-the-input-capture-feature/ta-p/704161At this point i am not sure if my code is wrong or if there is an actual problem with the board. Would it be possible for someone to send me a code for TIM2 interrupt that is confirmed working or test my code on a stm32 that is confirmed good?

SPI communication using DMA on the STM32H743.We have created a program for SPI communication using DMA, The first send/receive with HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA is successful.However, when the exact same process is executed afterwards, all received values are 0.The second send/receive with HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA is not successful.Does anyone know why this is happening? 

Hello,I have a H7 design with multiple UART/USART used to communicate via RS485 drivers (XR3072).I have programmed kind of loopback test by connecting the A/B signals of two RS485 busses.For this I use 2 DMA channels for each UART, one for RX and one for TX.Test runs fine, but if I connect a probe to RX signal, I get an UART IRQ with frame error flag set.I found out that the RX output of the RS485 driver is tri-state during transmit, so this the source of the frame error. It can be solved using external or internal pull-up resistors. This is not the problem, just FYI. What puzzles me:First, I have no clue why this IRQ is fired at all. In my understanding, in order to fire an UART IRQ, the appropriate enable bits must be configured in CR1-3. I’m working with an STM32-based system where the RTC is running on the internal LSI. My goal is to maintain reasonable time accuracy (within a few seconds) while periodically receiving the correct world time over an external communication interface.To do this, I preset the expected LSI frequency and continuously calibrate it based on time updates I receive. Hello dear community,I’m a beginner with STM32 and I’m trying to interface an APS6404L PSRAM to my STM32H7S3L8H6H using the XSPI1 peripheral. Despite configuring XSPI in CubeMX and generating the initialization code, I see no activity on any of the XSPI1 pins (CS, CLK, D0, D1, etc.) when I attempt a simple “Read ID” command. However, if I reconfigure those same pins as GPIO outputs and toggle them manually, they toggle just fine, so I know the pins themselves are physically working.I suspect that something is missing or mis‐configured in the MX_XSPI1_Init() code, but I’m not sure what to look for next. Hi,Our company need to make a I3C demo, so i'm studing I3C protocol with NUCLEO-H503RB and a generic IIC device.We know, I3C bus is compatible with IIC device. I meet a problem.when I2C master read 4 byte data from IIC device’ reg 0x10,  IIC master produce ACK normally.when I3C master read 4 byte data from IIC device’ reg 0x10, I3C master don't produce ACK. Why? How to fix the problem.    

Hello,I am working on the STM32F103xx. I need to read out the 96 bit UDID (unique device ID) of the devices during production. Is there any way of reading this out from the serial bootloader on UART1 or through the SWD interface? I searched the AN3155 and AN2606 but could not find any details.I do not want to flash a temporary firmware just to read it out and then overwrite it again. Nontheless it no other solution is possible I guess its an ugly workaround. It needs to be automated. So using CubIDE is not possible. Thanks

Hi. I'm trying to get HPDMA to write to flash memory on the stm32n6570-dk board. I did the DMA configuration exactly like the XSPI_NOR_ReadWhileWrite_DTR example for the STM32H7. The problem is that all zeros are written and I've run out of ideas what's wrong.  The memory is erased before writing. When I replace HAL_XSPI_Transmit_DMA() with HAL_XSPI_Transmit() the data is written. Maybe someone has an idea why all zeros are written?   Artur

Hello, I am working on adding an IWDG to firmware on a STM32F070CBT6TR. The Watchdog resets perfectly fine. I cause the watchdog to reset the MCU by not resetting the timer. I then try to read the RCC_FLAG_IWDGRST and it is always 0. Hi,We are working with the STM32G491 board and intend to drive the NRST pin using an external device. Could you please confirm the minimum low-level pulse duration on the NRST pin for it to be recognized as a valid reset by the MCU?

The chip is H743. After performing a erase operation on a page and resetting it, when I read the page again, the debug page shows that the erased page is 0xAA. As long as I read it, I will enter hardfault. Have you ever encountered a big shot,

I would like to ask about the current load. I expect to use three sets of SDADC, SPI, and USART, all of which will use DMA for transfer and operate at a frequency of 11000HZ. The clock will use an external 12M crystal oscillator. I estimate from official data that it will be 60mA. I don't know if this judgment is feasible.

Hi everyone,I’ve designed a schematic based on the STM32G0B1CE microcontroller. Since there’s no official development board available for this specific MCU, I used the schematic of the STM32G0B1RE Nucleo board as a reference, along with the STM32G0B1CE datasheet, to create my design.I’m planning to use the internal 16 MHz oscillator, so I’ve opted not to include an external HSE or LSE in the design.I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could review my schematic and provide feedback. I've been trying to find examples of the STM32N6 using the internal SMPS however, other than trying to reverse engineer the Nucleo or Discovery boards, there doesn't seem to be much literature available showing this.Ideally (for cost and board layout reasons), I just want to power the N6 with a single 3.3V supply (plus the 1.8V AON supply) and use the internal SMPS to provide VDDCORE.Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?
