Can you please let me know will there be any concern in using these memories or anything i need to take care in design

I am using the startup file in Keil. However, when I run the simulation in the debugger, my system clock (SYSCLK) is not 72 MHz, even though I have confirmed that HSE_VALUE is set to 8 MHz.Can someone help me figure out why the SYSCLK is incorrect during simulation? I am using stm32f103c8t6 bluepill

Hi I'm implementing Openbootloader to my project, using an STM32H743, and is having a hard time finding the correct start addresses and size for "Option bytes registers". This is needed to in the "openbootloader_conf.h" file in the Openbootloader middleware. I can find examples with different series, but not the STM32H7.Best regards Kenn

I followed the GPDMA tutorial here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKOhRfb3gvkand configured everything as shown.  The workshop was on a U575 but I would assume it's the same configuration for the U5A5?  I'm using the Nucleo-U5A5ZJ-Q.  I'm unable to get data passed via DMA into my data array.  I can see the ADC1->DR register getting continuously updated, but my data array remains zero length.I've attached a zipped project.Any help would be appreciated.

I'm working with FreeRTOS for the first time and am getting a HardFault during the call HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM4_IRQn); call inside of HAL_InitTick(); from HAL_Init();I am currently testing with a Nucleo board with MCU STM32F401RET6U and have configured the project as such - the startup file is startup_stm32f401retx.s.I've tried both TIM4 and TIM5 for the Timebase Source and have had the same results. Nowhere else in the code is TIM4 used or initialized I'm confused why it is hanging on the HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ call.Does anyone know what the issue could be or how I can further debug the issue?

Hello to everyone in the forum. I am using STM32H735.Is it possible to perform a floating point number operation and generate an interrupt when an exception occurs?I want to interrupt when the bit for exception generation in the FPSCR register is turned ON.Or do I have to create a thread for register monitoring and constantly check the bits? I await your advice.See you soon.

Hello,Has anybody experienced weird jittery like behaviour when using the HSEM between two cores on the STM32H755 or another dual core MCU? This is the logic right now:The CM4 has a 1 kHz loop that toggles a GPIO on each successful reception of data on an communication bus. On each cycle (reception of data), the CM4 writes to shared memory at address 0x38000000 which is a shared memory region located in SRAM4. Afterward the CM4 reads data at address 0x38000400 which is also in SRAM4. On every read and write, the HSEM is taken and released accordingly.The CM7 has a 160 kHz loop that toggles a GPIO, reads from address 0x38000000, then writes to address 0x38000400. Similarly, on the CM7 each read and write operation on shared memory uses HSEM to take and release the hardware semaphore accordingly. The problem is that with this approach, I see data at 0x38000400 update non periodically. Im working on a project wit h a H753ZI board with simulink.  In order to calculate sin efficiently I Hav tried the CORDIC block but in CUBEMX  under "Computing" only CRC and DFSM1 are visible.  Is it not possible to activate CORDIC? I have tried to manipulate the ioc file (according to suggestions "out there") but no luck.  I have the latest versions of cube 

Does STM32 support dual-ADC multi-channel sampling? For example, ADC1 enables IN1 and IN2, and ADC2 enables IN3 and IN4. Is the storage method in the adc_buffer as follows? adc_buffer[0]: High 16 bits = ADC1 IN1, Low 16 bits = ADC2 IN3 adc_buffer[1]: High 16 bits = ADC1 IN2, Low 16 bits = ADC2 IN4 And how should I configure this in CubeMX?

Can you share the routine for configuring USART2 interrupt transmission and reception on stm32N657? It took a long time to configure, but it can only send, but the receive interrupt cannot be triggered! 

I am trying to write a ethernet loopback test and I am unable to set the destination MAC address (FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF) to broadcast to. Since this is for testing, we want to avoid using NetX.Is there an example of HAL_ETH_Transmit and HAL_ETH_ReadData back to back and/or a function in the API that can set the destination MAC address?

We are currently using the STM32G0B0VET6 microcontroller (100-pin LQFP package) in our design for interfacing a 480x320 ILI9488 TFT display via the SPI interface. Our hardware is already finalized and PCBs have been fabricated accordingly.During our development and testing phase, we encountered significant performance limitations when attempting to render full frames to the display over SPI. Despite optimizations, the SPI interface on this MCU does not meet our display refresh requirements for smooth and responsive graphics.Is there any pin to pin alternate MCU that can replace the current mcu for better display performance through SPI without changing the pcb design.Thank you.

Hi,I have a well functioning application transmitting on uart4 using GPDMA1 CH1.If I turn on DCache, then it does transmit the correct length, only all characters are 0x00 (no problem in turning ICache on).In HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(huart, (const uint8_t*)pTx, len), if I make this substitution: HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(huart, (const uint8_t*)"Hi "/*pTx*/, 3/*len*/), then it works.I have tried allocating the variable pointed to by pTx to just about any available memory area / type without success.Any suggestions? 

Hello,I try to use I2S in full duplex mode master with DMA but it doesn't work as expected.The I2S is configured in 24 bits @32Khz.DMA TX and RX are configured in half-word circular mode.I can send data manually but if I loop the input to the output using software, nothing comes out even though there is data on PB4.DMAs are started with :HAL_I2S_Transmit_DMA(&hi2s3, I2S_DAC_Buffer, 2);HAL_I2S_Receive_DMA( &hi2s3, I2S_ADC_Buffer, 2);I used the function HAL_I2S_TxCpltCallback(I2S_HandleTypeDef *hi2s) in main.c like this :void HAL_I2S_TxCpltCallback(I2S_HandleTypeDef *hi2s){I2S_DAC_Buffer[0] = I2S_ADC_Buffer[0];I2S_DAC_Buffer[1] = I2S_ADC_Buffer[1];I2S_DAC_Buffer[2] = I2S_ADC_Buffer[2];I2S_DAC_Buffer[3] = I2S_ADC_Buffer[3];}I checked by flashing an LED, the callback function is called as it should.Why doesn't it work?

How to PWM input capture based on its frequency and duty cycle. 

I connect the PB9-BOOT0 to VDD, then power up the board, but it just run from flash(application program), not the bootloader, what's the matter? I am not firmilar with ISP, I suppose it should enter bootloader, and wait for ISP program to communicate.I want to confirm, besides connect PB9-BOOT0 to VDD, is there any other thing need be done?
