Dear forum mmebers,I am trying to use an STM32U5G9 MCU to drive a Ti SN65DSI86 DSI to eDP converter with no success.Previously I have evaluated the SN65DSI86 with a Xilinx FPGA as a DSI source where it was working perfectly from 640x480 to 1920x1200 resolution at 60Hz refresh rate. The line rate was up to 900Mbps/lane. At 640x480@60Hz I used 2 lanes and 250Mbps/lane. The SN65DSI86 can be configured to output the VSYNC on one of its GPIO which can be used to verify that DSI data is at least partially correct.I have also succesfully evaluated the STM32U5G9J-DK1 evaluation board with its display (round, 480x480) so both the STM32U5G9 and Ti SN65DSI86 works.Now we have manufactured an extension board for the STM32U5G9J-DK1 which has the Ti SN65DSI86 and a DisplayPort connector to drive a monitor. Hello,I'm using in my projects with ports PA10,PA11 (for Logs - uart), and PB14 and PB15 as normal GPIO.They didn't works.After long troubleshooting.... I found out that is because these ports are supply separately by the VDDUSB pin which was disconnected.I couldn't find the reason in the datasheet, I'll be happy to understand the construction and the reason.

EDIT: it's not the STM32, see latest postHeyho,I have some custom miniature PCBs here, the unholy combination of a super-high-impedance-low-noise amplifier (going to a low noise audio input with 24bit ADC, spectra below from that one) and a STM32L031 on another PCB.Both circuits share the same ground and power supply.Actually, I didn't expect the analog part to be that good (shielding issues), so I was greatly annoyed when all got worse when adding the PCB with the MCU.I already got the noise down by not using the CPU sleep mode: the timer interrupt frequency of 10 kHz was clearly visible in the spectrum, seemingly due to powering the CPU up and down.Now the noise doesn't change, no matter which peripherals I turn on or off - and even in hardware reset (NRST grounded) there are the same noise spikes at around 4 kHz (and harmonics) on the analog signal.Noise is only about -80 dBV = 100 µV, but I'd like to find out

Hi, I am using STM32L476 Nucleo board to generate and read some signals. I am using TIM3 to trigger TIM1 and generate pwm signals. I also used ADC in interleaved continious mode and everything worked out. What I want to do is that I want the ADC and pwm signals to start together and only take 1200 samples(Or sample for a known amount of time) then transmit this data over UART. I tried to trigger ADC from TIM1 using OCREF1 but it breaks the pwm generation part. I tried to add TIM2 and trigger it wit TIM3, then trigger ADC from TIM2. And in ADC callback I added a UART transmit line(Used with continious mode before) but It is not sending anything. What could be the problem or how can I do this in another way. ADC is using MultiDMA for interleave mode. The 2MHz pwm signal is sent every 20ms and after I sample the first 1200 data(Or first 70us lets say), I will use the remaining time to transmit the sampled data.

Hi I have a VERY large driver for a PSFB that unfortunately suffer from a flaw.The idea is that the master timer is reporgrammed with period and CMP1 CMP2 and CMP3 and that the timerD and timerE uses these 4 points for the crossbar. Everything works correctly except for how the new values are taken into account.The timers have preload enabled so, I expected that I could use LL_HRTIM_SuspendUpdate and   LL_HRTIM_ResumeUpdate after i have changed the prescaler, period  and Compare 1,2 and 3. But that does nothing. I need to actually use LL_HRTIM_ForceUpdate which obviously sometimes will then break my waveform as the transfer from the shaowregisters are not done during an rollover.Does someone have a working example of LL_HRTIM_SuspendUpdate/LL_HRTIM_ResumeUpdate that they are willing to share or does someone know why this behaviour occur?I am using stm32G474 and HAL/LL

HiI' am devloping an Hardware using STM32G491RET6 where I'm using many interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RTC, USB, RS232, ETH etc.The above hardwase is not yet fabricated, but we want to develp a software before the fabricated board arrive. Hence in order to develop the code which Eval Board is required.The one which is availabel "NUCLEO-G491RE", this has only IO access available but does not have any trascivers onborad where we cannot interface.Kindly suggest the Eval board where I can use maximum interfaces as mentioned.Regards

I made a stm32f411 simple test board and I am failing to do some things with it, now I am trying to send a string using the usb cdc, the code is uploaded but the device is not shown in usb list, I have a stm32f411 blackpill with 25mhz crystal hse(in my custom pcb the crystal is PTH instead of SMD) and the code works as expected, what i be doing wrong? here is the schematic please remember it's my first time making a custom board and I was aiming a very simple design:schematic

Hi Everyone, I have W25Q256JV and STM32L562CEU6 with 38 Pin Package and have OSPI (Single SPI, Dual SPI and Quad SPI option only). Below is my Clock Settings, OSPI (Quad SPI) with Quad Lines Settings and Error Status during Write Enable and main.c file. Hi.  We found a serious problem in the behavior of the memory bus pins during reset.Our design uses an STM32H743I CPU and non-volatile MRAM/FRAM memory connected via a bus. We use the FMC controller to access the memory, the bus pins are set up, and everything works. We have pull-up resistors on the nE[x] (chip select), nOE (output enable) and nWE (write enable) pins so that the correct levels are present on the memory inputs when the CPU starts. The problem occurs during a reset triggered, for example, by a watchdog or a reset button, when a negative glitch appears on these pins, causing an unwanted write to memory.We have the same HW design equipped with STM32743I rev. Y (older than rev. V), where this problem is also manifested to a lesser extent and pull-up resistors compensate for it, but with rev. Hi,Can I connect a 32bit bus SDRAM to STM32H7 and assign the FMC IOs as I wish or should I stick with the Alternate functions of the GPIOs?Specifically:  can I map 32 GPIOs to STM32H7 models with 144 LQFP package where the GPIO for D31, D30 etc....
