STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

I am unable to download any of the STM32CUBEIDE software from https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeide.html#. Everytime I log in and press download, the download bar always stays at 0% no matter what. This does not occur with any other downloads on other websites. I use Mac, but I even tried downloading the windows one just to face the same issue.  

Hey I recently Got Into Programming An Nucleo-64, ARM Cortex M4, STM32 L476-Serie And I sucessfully created My First Code In The STM32 IDE. I get this annoying Error when Trying To Flash : I tried so many Things Already Its Driving me crazy, Help Is Appreciated ... The Things I tried : Connecting PIN7 on CN7 to + 3,3V and trying to get It run In Boot Mode (Was not Able To achieve this). Hello every ones, I am tring to start a new project by exploring some new nucleo board that i see on stmicroelectronics web site. If I select the NUCLEO-H7S3L8 board i can't start the creation of the project because CUBE IDE say that: "The target device 'NUCLEO-H7S3L8' is currently not supported by STM32CubeIDE".How I can start the creation of the my program if the CUDE IDE is not able to give me the way to do that? If I buy this board , how can i start my work? How do i program it? Attached the picture showed on CUDE IDE. 

Hello! Just started my IDE this morning after working on the same version and same configs the night earlier and the IDE now keep crashing whatever i'm doing. I recently updated my Fedora installation to the 37 beta. Because the package `ncurses-compat-libs` which provided the ncurses5 library was removed, I am unable to install STM32CubeIDE.A fix would be to update the dependency to version 6, which is provided by Fedora 37 by `ncurses-libs`.

I have enabled Serial Wire Viewer (SWV) in my m55 application as I have done with my m4 and m33 projects, but the printf is not appearing in the SWV view.Are there additional setup required on the NUCLEO-N657 board such as jumper settings or additional software setup?Thank you.

Hello,My network is blocked, so can't access the packages through CubeIDE.I am trying to add the MCU package "from Local" as mentioned in the thread https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/unbale-to-connect-to-the-network/m-p/118945/highlight/true#M4106.Help -> Configuration Tool -> Embedded Software Packages manager -> From Local For STM32 U5, I can see two softwares - one is the package and other is the patch.Patch for STM32CubeU51.1.1STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32U5 series1.7.0Following the process, I was able to install 1.7.0. But while installing the patch 1.1.1, I am getting errror -My question - for the 1.7.0 is the patch 1.1.1 correct? Or the patch would be named as a progression to the base (in this case 1.7.1 ?). In that case, currently I don't need the patch after installing the firmware package of 1.7.0?Or the patch of 1.1.1 on 1.7.0 is correct and some procedure I am missing here.

I'm using STM32L011F4P6 in CubeIDE. I toggle digital output pin PA2 hi/low every 10ms just to see if it works and it consumes 80uA when it runs. When I set another pin PA0 as analog input, the current consumption rises to 315uA. This is OK as I understand that it needs some energy to do ADC conversion. However I only need to measure analog input once and so I want to turn ADC off. I tried HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc); HAL_ADC_DeInit(&hadc); however it does not returns consumption to 80uA only to 280uA, so something related to ADC is still on and consuming energy. I really want to go back to 80uA when I don't need ADC anymore. Hello,Attempting to debug STM32F746G-Disco, it's been working fine for days. The debugger first started playing up when trying to pause execution during the program, it would not pause but no error message was thrown. Next it would download and launch but pressing the green play button to start the program would not run it. Finally, I've lost the ability to program the board altogether, it just sits on 95% configuring GDB.Running the program (not debugging) works fine as does programing and debugging other boards. Is it something to do with the GDB server? Do I need to reinstall IDE and (somehow) the GDB server? I want to implement Segger Systemview recording mode but I also want to make use of the STM32CubeIDE live variables view and other features within the IDE when debugging. On top of this I also want to use the Segger System live recording feature so I can see things like task history etc. within Systemview. Snapshot mode is fine and with that I can use all feature of CubeIDE and just look at Systemview in non-realtime. But as per the subject I cannot have both St Link V2 firmware upgrade to J Link. A workaround to this, is to use Segger Systemview in UART mode, but this of course means that I need extra hardware (on a customer board - the Nucleo is fine). Is there a way around this so I can use both Segger Systemview record mode AND use the full features of STM32CubeIDE? I am current developing on Nucleo board. Could this limitation be circumvented by using a real J-Link?

Hi there,I am having some trouble logging into myST. Every time I try, I either get the same prompt or nothing happens, and i am unable to log in (image below). Is there a Solution to this 

 This is the code i am using to pick up input from RC receiver to then change pwm values, but there seems to be a problem. PWM's are unresponsive to RC receiver which is connected to timer 2 channels. Is the given code correct? could it be that HAL_Delay is causing problems? I would appreciate any feedback, ive spent too much time trying to figure out the issue.   

Thank you always for your hard work,I needed 4 SPIs, so while exploring the board, I found a text that could make USART work like SPI, so I tried this with the NUCLEO-G070RB.The example I referenced is "USART_SyncCommunication_FullDuplex_DMA_Init" on that board.Referring to the setting of the board, a program was written to check whether it was the same as the buffer sent by the buffer that received a specific message from USART (master) to SPI (slave).The current code works well.However, the standard setting of SPI is MSB first, but the example seems to be possible only with LSB first.I want USART and SPI to communicate by MSB.Attached is the setup of USART and SPI.    

1. How to configure the IDE to use g++ compiler to compile all the files includes "*.c" files in the project? Current it compiles the .c files by using gcc and .cpp by using g++ ...​2. If I rename main.c to main.cpp, the cube code generator will create a new main.c file instead of using main.cpp. Any sulotions for this?​Becasue main.c is .c file, so the IDE use gcc to compile this file, and this caused that I can't use any objects in it. But if I changed the main.c to main.cpp, the cube can't generate code into it...:face_screaming_in_fear: ​​

I'm using kali linux and the latest version of arm gcc available on arm website and the latest CubeIDE. When I first set everything up everything was working fine, but then I created an empty project for another MCU(STM32 G030F6P6) and got the following issue:"arm-none-eabi-gcc: error: unrecognized command-line option '-fcyclomatic-complexity"I've looked almost all available info up, I tried to turn off this flag in properties, but that didn't help at all. Moreover, this log comes outta HAL dependencies([Drivers/STM32G0xx_HAL_Driver/Src/subdir.mk:31: Drivers/STM32G0xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32g0xx_ll_gpio.o] Error 1)but the thing is tho, I'm using LL, not HAL, so I'm completely confused why'd I get this.Also, after I got this, i can't even run the previous projects that worked fine...I've been searching information about this plugin or whatever that thing is for 2-3 hours, and i couldn't find even what this is, not saying about any ways of fixing this issue. P.S: I tried re-installing

Hello Community!I am a newcomer to STM and am currently trying to control the OV5640 with the STM32-L4A6 (NUCLEO-L4A6ZG).Unfortunately I have no success and cannot establish communication. I am biting my teeth out and am in urgent need of support. When I click on Help -> "About STM32CubeIDE", the "About STM32CubeIDE" pops up.  I can close this widget OK.  But if I click the "Installation Details" button, the app freezes and I need to use xkill remove it from my desktopOS: Ubuntu 22.04LTSGnome 42.9Windowing: X11STM32CubeIDE V1.18.0 

I'm using the NUCLEO-H7S3L8 and have it setup 192K of DTCM memory. However, when I start to allocate DTCM memory above 64K the .elf file fails to load in the debugger. I have downloaded the "STM32CubeExpansion_CLASSB_H7_V4.0.0" to Falsh test(CRC) as per given in UM3252 user manual . In the UM3252, I have gone through "5.5.2 Steps to build an application from scratch" to do flash test for my project .I am using the STM32cube IDE to integrate CLASSB firmware to my project. I have encountered the following problems.1.I am unable to found the CRC tool in STM32cube programmer which is given in UM3252.
