Hello STM-Guys,There's a bug in X-CUBE-AZRTOS-H7 V3.3.0, which affects the memory assignment.I declared the following memory assignment:This generates the attached "STM32H723ZGTX_FLASH.rar" file. The memory declarations are in the file, but those are not used in the generated code file "app_azure_rtos.c." Not only is it not used for the "Tx_Pool_Buffer" and "Fx_Pool_Buffer" declarations, but it's also wrong for the "NX_Pool_Buffer" declarations. I don't even want to discuss the format of the linker script file; it's absolutely messy. The indentations are off, and nothing is in any order.   

Hello,I am new to stm programming. I got a STM32L496G-DISCO board and I wanted to create a new project. When I try to configure the pins i have a lot of yellow triangle warning icons and some of the fields are purple which can not be changed. I don't know if that is normal or am I doing something wrong. I tried an simple UART code and it doesn't work. It keeps on shutting down automatically and this appears the second I compile "Verifying ...Download verified successfully Shutting down...Exit."  

Hi there.I have been reading UM2576 - GDB Server Usage and am wondering how I can configure STM32 Cube IDE to start a debug session using the --persistant option, as described in the GDB server start-up options section on page 214:-e, --persistantSpecifying the option -e starts the server in persistent mode. By default, the persistent mode is disabled,meaning that the server starts in non-persistent mode. I can't find way to modify the startup options being used by the debugger, however.Here is the GUI dialog for startup options that I see in cubeIDE: There does not appear to be any place to add a manual start-up option to the command line.  You can however see what options are being used by clicking on the Show Command Line button.  In my case, this shows: C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.10.1\STM32CubeIDE\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.stlink-gdb-server.win32_2.1.400.202404281720\tools\bin\ST-LINK_gdbserver.exe -p 61234 -l 1 -d -s

Hello,I succeed to run all demo programs of the H7 performance suite (STM32CubeExpansion_Performance_H7_V1.0.0) except the QSPI single mode demo (8 - D1_QuadSPI_Single - D1_DTCM) on STM32H753I_EVAL2. But I can run the dual mode demo (9 - D1_QuadSPI_Dual - D1_DTCM) successfully.As far as I can see, both demos use the same source, the only difference is in the preprocessor settings, a symbol "QSPI_DUAL_FLASH" is present in the dual demo toolset settings. If this symbol is removed the same error as shown below appears too.It seems that the call / execution of the FFT function crashes if run in the single QSPI mode. I can set a breakpoint on the function but as soon as I try to step over itthe debugger jumps to this line here in HAL_RCC_MCOConfig() functionwhich doesn't make much sense to me.The debug window shows According to the linker script, the fft functions are located in OSPI flash. Hello, I am using STM32CubeIDE to compile under FreeRTOS a project to download in an ARM STM32F107VCT6 component installed on an Olimex board.I am new to using STM32CubeIDE.At first, I just want to run a very small program on the component to make a LED blinking on the board and just that. I'm trying to access the external flash on a B-U585I-IOT02A.  The driver(s) I found do:if (HAL_SPIEx_SetConfigAutonomousMode(&hspi2, &HAL_SPI_AutonomousMode_Cfg_Struct) != HAL_OK)but the linker says that function is undefined.  Is that in a library file I haven't included (and haven't located to include it)?-Marty

I am trying to create some example code for a Nucleo G474RE board and one of the initialization steps was whether I would like to use the BSP for the Virtual COM port, user LED and user button. Note that this is what the configuration looks like Building straight out of the box we run into a build error where it cannot find COM_InitTypeDef. This is because the USE_BSP_COM_FEATURE macro is not set to 1. I am using CubeMX 6.13 to generate a project. Because I want the project to be build with CMake, under Project Manager I have selected "Toolchain / IDE = Cmake".The generated project can be compiled with cmake from command line.Then I open the project in CubeIDE with "File->Open Projects from File System"I also tried "Import... -> Existing Projects into Workspace"The Build button is grayed out and when I go to "Project->Properties" there is no "C/C++ Build" entry on the left, where one could configure the CMake Settings.When I create a new "STM32 CMake Project" via CubeIDE everything works as expected.There is a very similar post here but the only answer is from the post creator basically saying: look at AN5952 but I don't find that helpful or applicable.What am I missing?

I'm having an issue of downloading CubeIDE, I'am using FireFox to download Cube IDE. Each iteration it stops at around 545MB of downloading. I haven't kept any download limit to any of my devices. It happens for all files in the download list. Please check from web settings team. Am to use this on priority. Please provide any other link to my email, to download the software and continue working.

HiI started working with the openbootloader and the application example located here:\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.6.1\Projects\STM32G474E-EVAL\Applications\OpenBootloaderThe example works fine, and I managed to get everything to run. I have now tried to export the application example to add it to a git repository and customize the bootloader. However, I haven't managed to get a copy of the application example to compile. I've been fixing include and linker issues for hours, but now the compiler reports missing files, although their include path is specified.Is there a simple way to export such a project/example without hours of mending include paths?Best regardsFabian

Since today CubeIDE 1.16.1 suddenly reports syntax errors for lines such as:__ALIGN_BEGIN uint8_t USBD_Desc[USB_DESC_SIZ] __ALIGN_END ={ ...The code compiles fine. but all the lines following are underlined. Removing __ALIGN_END removes all those underlines but the line itself is still marked as a syntax error.  I can't recall having change the code., this just appeared today. Ubuntu 24.10. ST Technical Support:    I have encountered a strange question and have not yet found the answer. When using Cubeide, I only wanted to debug the hardware but didn't want to write flash, which was supposed to be a simple task, but I failed. Using the default settings of cubeide, there is no problem connecting J-Link/JTAG burning code to enter DEBUG. I tried to modify the DEBUG settings. In Debug Configuration, I removed the verify flash download, edited the. dlf file, removed the Download, and then compiled it into Debug. F6 and F5 had the same functionality, but the modified code had no effect and still run the code on the original chip. All the operations became very strange.Can Cubeide be debugged online without write flash? If possible, how can we do it?I hope to receive a response.thanks

Hello! I have a STM32CubeIDE project that I run on a STM32WB5MMG module.I program it in debug mode and set a breakpoint in the code.When I open Build Analyzer it's empty. When I see other people open it, they get information about RAM usage. What have I missed to not get this information?

I keep getting text I/O warning for _close, _read, _write, and _lseek even though I am not using any text I/O.  I have looked through the properties and cannot find anything.  What can I do to get rid of these?
