STM32CubeMX (MCUs)

Hello, I am using STM32CubeMX to generate the code and test some peripherals which runs at different clock speeds(optimally).Since there is lot of code I have (specific to application) post STM32CubeMX code generation being written I don't want to reinsert my code after I experiment with different clock speed .So what I am doing is generating different SystemClockConfig methods with different clock settings to test the peripherals(mostly I2C ) by just replacing this SystemClockConfig with the newly generated ones.I want to know is it Ok to do like this.? I understand in case of SPI there is a change in the prescaler (only one macro) which gets changed or to be changed whenever we change the system clock Is there any other portion of the code which changes by just changing the Clock Settings(Sys Clock)Br,D

Hi guys,I am very new to continuous integration. My company has tasked me to set up a gitlab ci for there STM32CubeMX project. They want the following:A self hosted gitlab on a docker container on a machine (This I have already set up)Gitlab runner on a different machine which is connected to the project on gitlab this machine will be different than the self hosted gitlab and will have windows as OS. (I have already set this up)They want to have all the necessary tools installed on the windows machine which has the gitlab runner.When some commit any changes to the self-hosted gitlab repository the runner should start to execute.After that, the runner should run the batch file head-less.bat of the project. But this file will be in the windows with the runner and executes from there.In the end, when the runner executes the job then the output should be shown on gitlab. I have updated from stm32cube IDE 1.10.1 to 1.11.0 . After update and open the .ioc file, clock configuration show some problem like the CPU max clock frequency i can't use 480MHz any more. Do you know anything about this bug?The H7 Package in CubeMX was updated too from 1.10 to 1.11.0

The latest version of CubeMX 6.6.1 is still at LWIP 2.0.3http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/lwip/

I am using an STM32H757-eval board. From the CM7 I can detect a Tamper button press (PC13). I would like to detect this same button press from the CM4. Using CubeMX, I assign PC13 to the CM4. After rebuilding, I am not able to detect Tamper button presses from CM4. I connected a DMM and can see the line is being pulled low on button press.

I installed CubeMX but i can't see the program when i try to search it on windows. Other ST programs can't see it too (Motor Control Workbench)

There is an error in the ADC LL example projects on STM32G0 (Fw 1.5.1).Initalisation function (MX_ADC1_Init) call function LL_ADC_SetTriggerFrequencyMode()with inadmissible argument LL_ADC_CLOCK_FREQ_MODE_HIGHpermissible arguments are LL_ADC_TRIGGER_FREQ_HIGH or LL_ADC_TRIGGER_FREQ_LOWAlso CubeMX generate the same problem.

Hello,After creating a blinky project in CubeIDE version 1.11.0 running on Linux and setting up FreeRTOS within the .ioc file, the default task fails to run.A project created with STM32CubeMX V6.6.1 works, but when it was migrated to V6.7.0 (by opening the .ioc file and re-generating the code), it no longer works.It was found that: The osThreadNew(Task, NULL, &Task_attributes); functions were never generated in main.c! In its place, a copyright notice was printed instead (what is printed at the top of main.c).I assume someone used the wrong variable in the code generation software?Apologies if this is not the correct place to post these bugs, if not, please direct me where this information should be sent.

Hello,In my project I need CPU frequency independent CANBUS and SAI2 Master clock output.CANBUS is running out of PLL2P clock, while SAI2 MCLK is selected from PLL3PIf I only enable one or the other, they work great, but if I enable them all together desister !  My CANBUS traffic is just garbage and it hangs while the SAI2 clock is good. I'm setting up the DMA to move received bytes from USART3 to a circular buffer. But the DMA don't move the received data to the buffer. The received data is received by USART3 (The DR contains the received byte and SR.RXNE is set to 1).All I need to do to make it work is to edit in main.c. Hi,I have installed STM32CubeMX v6.7 on my laptop. The installation was successful.Loaded a project which was setup with STM32CubeMX v6.3 using FW_GO v1.5.0.The code is generated successfully, however when pressing to open the project, " Not a valid ioc file" errors on the screen.Attached STM32CubeMX log file.Any idea how to resolve it ?

 I am using Linux Linux kubuntu 22.10 5.19.0-26-generic and when I click on the GPIO Pull-up/Pull-down column elements nothing happens except the color of the row changes.

Hello!I have faced the problem with ADC checking using DMA on my F446RET6 MCU. The software tools are CubeMX 6.7.0 and CubeIDE 1.10.1. The Firmware is FW4_1.27.1. Perhaps, it is my mistake, but i canntot understand how to fix it. I'm having an issue reading one of the channels on an ADC. It is working for one channel but not the other, even though the settings are the same. I am verifying what the expected value should be based on an oscilloscope measurement taken right off of the pin. What are some of the things I should look out for? For some more details:I am using an STM32F303RBT6, and ADC 4. Channel 4 is working, channel 3 is not. Hello, I would like to connected my STM32F746G Disco board to the server on PC computer. I started from example from STM32CubeMX. I'm trying to generate the files for a makefile project but it's grayed out :(I am able to do it for an STM32L496, but not for the STM32U575. Is there any particular reason for this?I'm using CubeMx v6.6.1Thank you! 

Whenever I make a project with CubeMX, I explicitly tell it to copy the files it needs and to NOT make references in CubeIDE. Nothing making sharing projects more painful than eclipse references.That being said, I just started a project with an STM32H745 MCPU and I've told it to copy the files: But, for some reason.. It doesn't. It's still making references. Incredibly annoying.

Hi,In CubeMx V6.6.1 - Windows 11 i am having the 2 following issues.In Project Management if i select Makefile as the Toolchain / IDE then i cannot access the toolchain location folder to make it a new location, the input box is not enabled.To work around the point above i do the following steps:choose first EWARM as Toolchain / IDEupdate the Toolchain location folderchoose Makefile as Toolchain / IDEGenerate the codeUntil this point all goes ok and the toolchain files are correctly generated in the toolchain folder.But if i close CubeMx project and reopen it again the toolchain location is lost.I looked inside the project.ioc file and it is correctly stored there.It seems like this might be a bug.ThanksPaulo
