Hello AutoDevKit Support Team,I’m setting up an AEK-MCU-C4MINI1 board and I’m unable to get a working debug session through the board’s mini-USB (P2). I’ve read the user manual, followed the bring-up steps, and tried several configurations, but OpenOCD never manages to see the device over JTAG.SummaryExpected: OpenOCD starts, identifies the SPC58 device, and GDB halts at main().Actual: OpenOCD starts but repeatedly reports JTAG scan/IDCODE errors (“all ones”; IR capture 0x3F). Hi Team,I am trying to communicate with my bms using raspberry pi.I am using 8 cells in series connected to AEK-POW-BMSCCTX from C0 to C8 (from cell taps-P1 connecter). From the P4 side VIO-3V, Vdd- 5v, GND. I have also connected the MISO,MOSI,CS and CLK of the pi with corresponding pins in bms. Also TXEN-high, DIS-low, BNE-low.Using this run a sample Spi code and there is no correct reply. I just need to know is this connections correct? any extra connections do i have to do?Also after connections, D9,D8 and D2 leds of my bms is light up. When spi is activated D7 led should blink but not in my setup. Hi. I'm looking for a programmer for SPC564L60L5. The best would seem SPC5-UDESTK but it is not available for sale. Or maybe StellarLINK It will be ok for full programming and debugging support for this chip. Moved  from STM32 forum - this is not an STM32 question.I am facing an issue with the Auto Dev Kit debugger. My previous license had expired (Hightec), and although I tried renewing it and even registered to get a new license, the debugger still does not work.Additionally, I notice that the debugger and flash icons appear greyed out.Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Hello, I am trying to use a HighTec Free GCC license with AutoDevKit Studio 2.6.1, but I cannot compile my project. Setup: OS: Windows IDE: AutoDevKit Studio 2.6.1 License: Free GCC Installed compiler: Only VLE compiler (ppc-vle-gcc.exe) is present; ppc-free-gcc.exe is missing Problem: AutoDevKit shows “No license for product (-1)”. Project’s Toolchain Editor only lists the VLE compiler. I am unable to add the Free GCC compiler manually because the executable is not in the installation. Request: Please provide instructions or a link to obtain the PowerPC Free GCC compiler (ppc-free-gcc.exe) compatible with my license. Guidance on installing and configuring it in AutoDevKit Studio so the license is recognized. Thank you.

When I use SPC5 Flash Programmer V2.8.1 to connect to the SPC56 CAN programmer, after configuring all the settings and clicking the connect button, the SPC5 Flash Programmer remains in a busy state and fails to establish a normal connection. Could you please tell me how to solve this problem?  Note: The operating system of my computer is Windows 10 64-bit. Besides, when I check the SPC5 Flash Programmer installation Details, it shows that the flash tool plug ins of STMicroelectronics are unsigned, Is this the reason why it cannot work properly? 

Hi,I am using AutoDevKit to develop an application on the SPC563M-DISP. I have a AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK debugger and want to program and debug my software on it. As I know this version only support OpenOCD, but the problem is that I am unable to find the ".cfg" file in the OpenOCD folder, inside the AutoDevKit software.1. Where Can I find the ".cfg" file for the SPC563?2. Can I debug and Program the SPC563 using AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK and OpenOCD?3. Can the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU (that uses UDE) program and debug SPC563M-SIP?I currently have the 'SPC5LNK ' and want to use that for developming my app on SPC56, but If that is not possible I can get the SPC5LNKU (UDE version) also, but wants to make sure that I will work.

I am trying to configure BMS63CHAIN component on AEK-MCU-C4MINI1 board connected to an AEK_POW_BMSNOTX but the allocated pin mapping created by the tool does not match the C4MINI1 board connectors.I tried following the AutoDevKit chapter in um3185 Getting started with AutoDevKit battery management system (BMS) evaluation boards:1. Hello ST team,Following on from my “connection/reading” thread, I have a separate issue about physical damage.TimelineWith 4 cells both of my AEK-POW-BMS63EN boards read correctly.When we moved to 6 cells on Board #1, we began seeing the “dead” behavior (refs/LEDs off, SPI zeros/NaNs).We then swapped in Board #2, keeping the same holder and harness. Shortly after connection, Board #2 burned in the same area near the L9963E as Board #1 (photos attached).Later we populated all the way to 14 cells (VBAT ≈ 50 V) to re-check; still no refs/LEDs and SPI zeros/NaNs on the remaining board.Current statusTwo boards visibly damaged in the same L9963E area.We avoided pin-by-pin live plugging; balancing was off.Per-cell voltages at the holder side look normal and monotonic with a DMM.AsksCould you help with failure analysis based on the photos and symptoms? I have a problem when I try to follow the demo procedure step by step to test if the aek pow board reads the battery pack. I wanted to ask how I can solve this and I would like to know how to understand if the board has correctly gone into debug mode after the switch procedure.

Dear Experts, I cannot access the battery models from About:Energy with ST. how to properly connect multiple L9963E in daisy chain? already tried many mode and tweak. follow the design in datasheet, for transformer isolated and capacitive, but still unable to init. for the first chip, I use SPI. init the first chip is correct, but for the upper L9963E always failed. the mcu I use SPC582B signal seems good, but the ISO transceiver of the chip unable to read.   maybe there any member here thats already succesfully connect the daisy chain ISO

Greetings I have weird situation with AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 and cannot figure out what is wrong. Maybe someone here is experienced with this device and can help me out. I have absolute encoder with SPI. When i connect directly to uC all is working fine. Then i tried to use AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 and have next problem: I can readout the encoder data just with command read, so i generate just clock to start readout from encoder. This works fine, because on encoder side i get correct data 0x9F45. These data are transferred back to uC but here i get messy data from AEK-COM-ISOSPI1. I get data 0x5F61. When i look the SPI signals with logic analyzer i can see that MISO is not sync with CLK cycle. And encoder is always on the same position.  Can anyone help me and tell what im doing wrong here.   My configuration is. Dear ST team,Currently, I'm testing SPC560P50L5 MCU with AutoDevKit Studio, and it is going well by importing the sample project. I have noticed that I can enable "User ADC Regular Conversions" in "Application Configuration." Now, I'm trying to control the motor's speed with a potentiometer. So, I enable GPIO-E2, which corresponds to the ADC0_AN[5] pin. Then I generate the code. After that, I can't find how to get that ADC reading in the main.c.Please help me to suggest on it to get the ADC reading from E2 GPIO. Moreover, I declare the variables (uint16_t Bus_Voltage and uint16_t Temp) in the main.c and I would like to assign it as the Bus voltage value and Temperature value from on board NTC. But I can't find the API or functions in the files to call to get those values. For example, in SDK6.3.2, I can use Bus_Voltage = VBS_GetAvBusVoltage_V(&BusVoltageSensor_M1._Super);Temp = NTC_GetAvTemp_C(&TempSensor_M1);so, please help me on it how to get those Bus voltage and T

However, we are encountering a "launching error" when attempting to connect to the board via SPC5 Studio. For your reference, we have attached the error image below.We would like to understand whether any specific debug configuration is required within SPC5 Studio for successful debugging.Upon investigating the issue, we came across information suggesting that a PLS UDE software license may be required. Hi,I am working with an AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1, and trying to debug using the debugger AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKA through the JTAG port. I did a very simple code because all I am interested in now is to ensure that the debugger works properly. The debugging session seems to start properly, as no errors or interruptions occur during the starting phase. The problem is that "Peripherals" and "Memory" are complitely empty while the debug session is running. At the beginning of every debug session the following message shows up: "Break at address "0x404100" with no debug information available, or outside of program code." May it be related to the problem I am encountering?. What I could do? Thanks.

Dear all,Currently, I'm trying to test the SPC560P50L3 MCU for a Motor Control application. I know that I can do it easily by clicking on "import samples from application library". However, every time I try to create the project manually by adding the components like the screenshot below, I always face a lot of errors. I noticed that even though I set up the pins in "SPC56xx Motor Control Component," nothing is updated in the pin MAP view, which is not like in the MCSDK versions. In MCSDK, we set up a lot of things in the GUI, like PWM pins, ADC pins, and so on. After that, we can see it also in the CUBE MX after the code generation. However, SPC5 studio is not like that. I'm not sure whether I'm doing something wrong or not. Please correct me if I'm wrong.I would like to know if there is any step-by-step document or manual to create a custom motor control project in SPC5 Studio. Thanks and regards,Agga

I had a fine working setup with BMS63 for some hours. Than cell 12 showed 0V and the fault light in the ISO SPI came up. A short measurement showed, the cell was indeed empty (I am testing with very old cells). After replacing the cell cell 12 still shows 0V, and the fault light is still on. If I measure with the testpins on the BMS63EN itself, I can see that there is a cell voltage. So something went wrong with the BMS63EN I think.  Do I need to reset the error/fault? In the manual its stated that software diagnostics need to be run in such case. But..how? And shouldn´t that be all reset after a complete disconnect and new init?
