I have SPC58NH-DISP board for my application development. I am trying to program the board using SPC5Studion but I am unable to do it. For me "Execute and Debug Your application" task is disable even if in SPC5Studio UDE plugin is installed. UDE plug in is installed by using this link : "SPC5tools - http://spc5tools.spc5studio.com"". NOTE: Board is connected and power supplied.

HiI am using SPC584B70 and LIN transceiver(TJA1021T) for LIN communication and I have a question.TJA1021TI need to create a break signal first for LINcommunication but I don't know how to create this signal in the current library.The current structure is to pass serial data to the TJA1021T chip, and the chip converts it to a LIN signal and sends it to me.The library I am currently using is serial_lld.c and I have checked that Tx and Rx work fine using this library. The signal on the left is the signal generated, and the signal on the right is the signal you want to make. This photo proves that Tx is doing well.* Is there any way to generate and send a break signal using this library?Or is there any code where I can see an example of lean communication? I know there is a lean communication library (lin_lld.c). It would be nice to see an example of this library.Thank you very much.

Hello, I am a newbie on GNSS modules, trying to understand behavior of module. I look at Software Manual and all the commands, PSTMHOT, PSTMWARM, PSTMCOLD command get my attention. When we use these set of commands ?For example I have teseo module with back up battery on, after cold start, module starts to work for some time and I turn the power off. Maybe after 1 hour maybe after 1 month I will turn the power on, not obvious...Modul sometimes should hot start sometimes warm sometimes cold. Module should decide itself by checking itself right ? There is no point in writing these commands. The question,in which scenario should we use these commands ? and also I have been looking for code example that can guide me when understanding how to configure from scratch.And also I upgrade the firmware to 4.6.6.5.6, when I configure with PSTMSETPAR command, it works with problem, fox example I want to open some kind of messages but command open other message types. Hi I'm now using Teseo-VIC3DA through evb.I have a curiosity about which level the sensor fusion btw GNSS and IMU is performed.I can log the data through Teseo suite application.But i can't figure out that GNSS messages such as NMEA GNGGA, GPVTG etc... is the result of fusion or the raw data of GNSS.Those messages is the result of fusion btw GNSS and IMU?And if that data is the result of fusion, Is there any other way to get raw GNSS data?Thanks a lot in advance.

Happy New Year everyone !I am currently trying to get the nmea sentences from the above gnss module (vic3da) i have connected the uart rx/tx and ground (gnd) and am able to ping the gps unit but unable to read any data from it has anyone ever written code that i might have a look at to know if I'm doing some thing wrong as I am completely new to MCUs or can anyone guide me to complete my project successfully ?  with regardsswayam :)

HiI try to program SPC564B74L7 target with using BAM function by serial port (SCI). I use an FTDI USB to RS232 adapter (USB-RS232-WE-1800-BT-0.0). Despite several attempts, I can't connect to the target from SPC5FlashProgrammer (version 2.8.1 Beta). In the Interface drop-down menu, I have selected my UCUART::FTDI/0/UART cable (which is the only suggestion). I have no activity on the serial bus when I click on Connect. Has anyone encountered the same problem as me and would they have a solution?

I am getting the errors below when trying to build the project.Due to reasons, we regenerate the project and now this project cannot be build ...I have tried the solution at Solution 1 and Solution 2. Hello, I stareted to develop PSI5 interface with L9663. My point is to read initialization data via SPI. If I set DOUT1 as direct data output (CH1_CR1->DOUT1_SE = 0), I am able to measure received data on this pin. But if  I set this pin as interrupt (CH1_CR1->DOUT1_SE = 1), then I am not able to read initialization data via SPI (but interrupt is active).  My procedure: 1. set READ_INIT_DATA1 bit in CH1_CR1 2. Enable PSI5 (with requierd settings) 3. Reading initialization data by this command: After this  INITDATA_RDY in SR3 is not set. Is this procedure correct? What I should write to "init_buf_id" and "Register" bits? I tried to make loop for all possible combinations, but there wasn't any data.   Thank you for your response.

I've been using for a bit a SPC58 eval-board and i was wondering how to share global variables between the two cores. I searched around on the internet finding nothing useful. Is "volatile int" enough even for a rough and dirty data sharing or should I use something like SRAM and its shared memory location?

Hi everyone,I am implementing the communication between MCU SPC582B and High side driver VN9D5D20F. SPI signals seem fine to me, see next image:Spi Clk frequency = 625kHz  (range is 0Mhz to 8Mhz)CS transaction time = 71usTime between bytes = 7usTransaction 1 = read CTRL (en = 1, parity = 1, GSBN = 1)Transaction 2 = read SOCR (all zeroes, GSBN = 1)Transaction 3 = GSB = 20h (SPIE = 1) On the third transaction, I can't understand why reading SOCR register cause the driver to throw the SPI error (clk count is adequate and SDI is not stuck.I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks,FP 

Hello,I am curious whether there are any power sequencing requirements for the Teseo-LIV3R.  I didn't see any in the datasheet.  In particular:Will the module work correctly if VBAT is open-circuited, while VCC & VCCIO are supplied?  Obviously it won't retain time or ephemeris in this configuration, but will it even work at all?  Basically, is the internal 32k clock supplied by VCC OR VBAT, or only from VBAT?Would it cause any hardware problem to leave VCC up and VCCIO down for an indefinite period or time, or vice versa?What would the power draw be if, say, VCCIO was up but VCC was down?Thanks!

Does it is possible to change the Teseo-LIV4F PPS output frequency to a stable (low jitter) frequency greater or equal to 10MHz ?

What is the timing specification of the PPS (Pulse Per Second) output from the Teseo-LIV3R in terms of pulse width and/or duty cycle?  I've reviewed the datasheet, UM2523 (ST Teseo III ROM binary image - User manual), and UM2231 (Teseo-LIV3 GNSS Modules - Hardware Manual) but don't see this specified.

I have a question regarding the Teseo-LIV3.My understanding is that when power is supplied to the IC,the Ant-off signal should go high (H) after a certain period. However, in my case, the Ant-off signal remains low (L) even after powering the IC.Aside from a possible antenna short circuit, what other factors could cause this behavior?

Is it because some jumpers on the SPC574K exploration kit board need to be connected, or is it for other reasons that the UDE STK software cannot read the chip through the emulator of the SPC574K exploration kit board? 

While debugging the board AEK-AUD-C1D9031 , the SPC5-UDESTK is not responding and it says this always even when the target power supply is turned ON and the Device is shown in Device manager. I think there will be some target configuration which I have to do but I am not aware of the Configurations. I have attached the message for reference. HiOn power up the SPC56EL54L5CBFS looks like it is in an internal RESET mode that does not  end. The RESET pin is always  pulled down by the CPU. Power up of 1.2v and 3.3v in 1.5msec. Can you help to to understand why the RESET pin is always  pulled down by the CPU? Thank you.

Hi allI have a TESEO LIV4F connected to an STMF411CEU6 via I2C. I am able to read the NMEA sentences ($GNRMC etc.) at 1Hz via I2C.I would like to set the fix rate to the maximum 10Hz as outlined in the datasheet, but i am not able to do so. In fact I am unable to get a response for any of the commands I send via I2C. I’m engineer from EMS company. For one of our customer we are going to manufacturing PCBA (Vehicle Control Module) based on SPC58NH92C5 uC. Our customer is owner of design and our customer develop the final firmware for product. However for the manufacturing process we will need kind of the special firmware called “Test Firmware” optimized and dedicated to allow to perform Final Functional Tests of the PCBA. To optimize production process there is the plan to follow in that way: perform programming withfinal firmware > depanel and coating process > Full Functional Test (in here I need test firmware functionality).As you see I can’t reflash PCBA on Full Functional Test due to that PCBA already is flashed with final firmware. In that case my plan is do not touch Final Firmware but I would like to develop my own test firmware and I would like to upload That firmware do SRAM instead of Flash memory and boot uC from SRAM.I see that SRAM for that uC is 1MB so it is more than I nee
