Hi Team,Please help to resolve the issueFlashing the SPC584B- DISP board failed and end up in the following errors,  Error messages:  PpcJtagTargIntf: Connection to target lost !  PpcJtagTargIntf: Failed to reset target system !  PpcJtagTargIntf: No JTAG client found ! Please check: - target power supply - JTAG cable connection - target configuration This issue has started just after connecting with external LIN device(NeoVI Blue). All indicator LEDs in the board are still glowing. The device is still visible in Device Manager under Ports on connecting with the computer. There is no fluctuation in the current observed. The power is given through regulated power supply keeping maximum current 200mA.RegardsSudeendra S

Hi,I'm designing an automotive scan tool. For now, I'm studying about ISO 9141 and LIN Bus compatibility. I have a legacy hardware that uses L9637 to perform ISO 9141, but I want to add LIN capabilities in a new hardware.So, I would like to know if the IC L9637 can support both protocols ISO 9141 and LIN bus ? I am interfacing AEK-COM-BLEV1 with SPC58ECXX .I imported the ble demo code from autodevkit but while compiling it is giving some errors like:In file included from main.c:19:0:./components/AEK_COM_BLEV1.h:23:31: fatal error: AEK_COM_BLEV1_cfg.h: No such file or directory#include <AEK_COM_BLEV1_cfg.h>^compilation terminated.make: *** [build/obj/main.o] Error 1I think some files are missing.I am not able to find this file AEK_COM_BLEV1_cfg.h:Please guide how to solve this.If anyone is having compiled demo code for AEK-COM-BLEV1 it will be helpful

Hi,I'm doing a HW rework design about a board that use the microcontroller MPC5606B of NXP. I want update the design using a ST microcontroller. I have seen that this device is similar to the SPC560B60L7, but I would like to know if the 2 IC are pin-to-pin compatible. In particular, is it possible to replace one component with the other one without modify the electrical connections already present on the board?The complete part number identified are: SPC5606BF1VLU6 (of NXP) and SPC560B64L7C6E0X (of ST).Thank you,Regards.

I am trying to install autodevkit plugin using install new software option from help but some features are not getting installed.I am getting the following error:Missing requirement: Autodevkit feature Group 1.1.1.20200327200248 (com.st.tools.autodevkit.feature.group.feature.group 1.1.1.20200327200248) requires 'com.st.spc5.components.spc5rla.usbtypec.full.feature.feature.group 1.3.2' but it could not be foundI think this error is linked to the missing feature/improper installation of autodevkit.Please guide .

I know how to burn the firmware but it is not required i think. I downloaded the sw mentioned in this link: https://www.st.com/resource/en/data_brief/stsw-aekble.pdfbut it is not gettting imported or compiled in spc5 studio so i can open it later in UDE for flashing the ble board later.Also where is this connector on ble board  J2541409? I am not able to find proper user guides or manual.

Hello,Target: SPC584CWe integrated crypto rsassa-pss into our Primary Bootloader and Secondary Bootloader.Primary Bootloader is running on flash and to download Secondary Bootloader, while it uses almost 22s to verify signature.Secondary Bootloader is downloaded to RAM and runs on Ram to flash application. it uses 4s to verify signature.It is a huge difference since Secondary Bootloader is only 143K while application is 1157K. but it seems Primary Bootloader runs crypto slower than Secondary Bootloader on RAM.The crypto implementation is the same.Any idea why it is like this?Br,Kim

Hi,One question at the beginning: how to clear interrupt flag in SPC582B50 for "Flash controller Prog/Erase/Suspend IRQ" (vector 185)? I can't see any related interrupt flag in the manual, MCR.DONE also cannot be cleared manually.Once IRQ related to flash erase is issued, the IRQ_Handler is called over and over until I disable the interrupt at all (MCR.PECIE = 0).-----I found some incosistencies between Reference Manual RM0403 and actual behaviour of SPC582B50 flash registers.According to RM section 32.3.2.3 to 6 - all LOCKx registers should be set to all-1s after reset.I observe otherwise:The same sections of RM say:"The LOCK field is not writable:– Once an Interlock Write is completed until MCR.DONE is set."I observe, that write to LOCKx registers (restoring the lock) is not possible right after MCR.DONE is set. I also need to clear MCR.EHV, then I can write to LOCKx registers.Can you please confirm which one is correct?Best,Yannek

@Hi FOlks, @Erwan YVIN​ Intro and Question no.1 as follows:What is the HW programmer I can use to burn the flash on SPC56B line of uCs embedded in my custom board/design!?Question no.2 as follows:I have been since working with the SPC56B-Discovery board with a SPC560B54L5 onboard which is larger in size(144pins) and as I don't need that many pins so wanted to go with a SPC560B50L1 with 64 pins LQFP package but I'm not sure if they would be code to code compatible with the bigger 144pin (SPC560B54L5 ) uC!?

Hi,Is there a way to disable PLLs at all from the clock tree editor?If I change macro definition: SPC5_ME_DRUN_MC_BITS in clock_cfg.h, it is obviously restored when generating the application again ("Generate SPC5 Application" button in toolbox).Would you have any advice for this?Good day,Yannek

hi everyone.i have a problem of my CAN examplei have run example source on my SPC560BC50L1 chipon my SPC5Studio, there is no library for SPC560BC50L1 chip, so i use library for SPC560BC50L5and i set chip as SPC560B50L1 chip,when i set SPI communication, i was succesful to enable SPI by setting PIN editorbut, when i use can communication library, there is no PIN set on Library, it was empty.i run this example source code ( SPC560BCXX-OSLESS-CAN ) .it was done for running, but there is no signal on my Pin ( my CAN0 TX PIN is 14 )what should i do to run can example source on my chipsor what can i do to set my pinmap to use this library?

Greetings,I'm having an issue changing the state of the NOT_RDY bit in the MCR register of flexcan from 1 to 0. SInce this is a status bit, it relies on FRZ and HALT bit and reflects upon it. Inspite of changing the FRZ and HALT bits, the NOT_RDY doesn't change.Thank you for your help in advance

Hi,I have installed SPC5Studio in order to use my SPC584B-DIS dev board and I can't find a way to program / debug my cpu!! It seems that SPC5Flasher is integrated to spc5Studio but no way to find and use it. Idem for UDE. When I cliked on the debug icon nothing happens.Need help please!Regards

Hi,I finally managed to get SPC5Studio working, and have compiled the SPC56ELxx_RLA IRQ Test Application for DiscoveryPlus board.But when I press the Execute and Debug Button, I get an error messageMissing UDE target configuration!Target configuration does not exist - invalid launch configuration.Does anyone know how to fix this please?Thanks,Owen.
