In SPC5 Studio, I have an example of CAN communication using the SPC58xGxx board. When loopback mode is enabled, the transmission works correctly. However, when I disable loopback mode, the transmission fails. Could you provide guidance on how to successfully transmit CAN messages without using loopback mode? Additionally, I would like to know how to monitor the CAN signals using Peak-CAN.

I want to generate pwm signal with spc582B with out the signal directly to pin emios0 channel 11 (uc11 pin).Already use the pwm Icu sample project. With channel 11 out, so I use group 1. When running, the periode callback is working, but still no out in the emios0 channel 11 pin.How to properly configure pin signal of the pwm?  

Hello,As part of a custom BMS project, I am trying to add a cyclic CAN Message Transmission functionality to the board. I have been able to implement CAN transmission functionality on the main_core0 function where a function is called after every 500msec using osalthreadelay function. But I wanted to enable some PIT timers and run these CAN functions as callbacks. I am seeing that as soon as I add these PIT timers (whose frequency is not that high, 1hz and 2 hz), the whole code just stops and I stop receiving anything on serial or CAN. Is there something I am missing with my implementation? Hello,I just received a copy of the STEVAL-TTM005A.From the documentation, if I use a 5V power supply, the EXC output should be "9Vpp".As a quick test, I supplied the board with 5V, and fed it a 10kHz Sine Wave as EXCIN.  For the output, I see 0 to 5V on EXC+ and 0 to 5V on EXC-.  How can I confirm the "9Vpp"?Also, if I wanted a lower voltage, 7Vpp for example to better-match the spec for a resolver that I am using, can I just reduce the 5V power supply to something lower?Thanks! FYI...The scope capture for EXCIN, EXC+ and EXC-:    

I’m trying to implement FOTA on SPC58NH, and changing the application start address is causing some issues.The 0x011C0000 flash block is not included in the boot record search locations.So I need to make the core start from this address, but I failed on the first attempt, and now the board doesn’t allow JTAG connection (possibly permanently locked?).I need advice for a second attempt.Please advise how to register a custom application start address that is not supported in the boot record search locations. <Common setup>The application is placed at 0x011C0000 with RCHW.Core2 start address is 0x011C0060.<First attempt>A valid RCHW was placed at 0x00FC0000.This code simply jumps to 0x011C0000.0x011C0000 contains a valid RCHW and application start address (00 A5 00 01 01 1C 00 60).Result: JTAG cannot connect (possibly permanently locked).<Second attempt — need advice>Trying to write DCF for BAF Configuration:BAF_ADDRESS: I assume this address must contain RCHW, so it

I have been using SPC5-UDESTK with a STM58 evaluation board. I now need to start working with multiple cores, but it appears that the starter kit license does not support this functionality. Will the SPC5-UDEDEBG license allow for multi-core debugging? The documentation for SPC5-UDEDEBG specifies core 2 only, while PLS mentions multi-core support for the SPC58 family. If SPC5-UDEDEBG does not support multi-core debugging, what other tools have users successfully used for this purpose?

Currently there is no appropriate documentation regarding the SPE module in the GTM. Is it discontinued? If anyone has a any good example regarding the SPE implementation or any application note regarding SPE. It would be helpful.

HelloI intend to use SARADC with SPC570S-DISP chip and I'm not able to operate correctly.I configured the saradc driver to use the pin ANP8, which corresponds to the board's potentiometer. I set up an interrupt to read the value. Hi ! We are using an SR5E1E7 with StellarStudio. But we are struggling with CAN filters. How to setup the CAN device so it can accept any CAN-ID? Or better, how mask work for the CAN Filters ? We are using CanOpen and we can't really set every ID we want by hand.Any info is welcome, whether from StellarStudio configuration or C code using `can_set_filter`.  Currently we only made it to work with one ID: Could you give an example on how to setup filters for:- Allowing all ID's - Allowing all ID's from a mask   Thanks in advance ! I am configuring the SPI module in EB Tresos and attempting to map DSPI_0 in the unit hardware mapping section. However, I receive a bad clock setting error for DSPI_0.The same error occurs for all DSPI units except DSPI_4 and DSPI_5, which do not show any issues. My port pins and clock configurations are set for DSPI_0, so I expect it to work correctly, but it fails.Environment:Microcontroller: SPC58NN84E7Tool: EB TresosModule: SPI DriverError Message: "Invalid value for node 'SpiPhyUnitMapping': DSPI Hw unit has bad DSPI_CLK settings."Has anyone encountered this issue before? Hello I want to program the data flash in the SPC560P34L1 microcontroller.  The user's manual says that double-word (64 bits) data page programming is supported, but an errata, DocID024694 Rev 4 (SPC560P34x, SPC560P40x devices errata JTAG_ID=0x2AE2_2041), mentions that it is not working.  I'm trying to use two methods to program: first, with the generated C90 c-arrays from SPC5 Studio (supposedly 1-word page size, micro resets as soon as the FlashInit function is called), and second, by performing the step-by-step register manipulation recommended by the microcontroller user's manual. Neither of them works. Does anybody know how to program the data flash in this micro successfully? Thanks!

Hi I am developing my project using the SPC58EC74 chip，I found two problems when using SPI（The clock I/O is PG[11]/DSPI0_SCK, which is pin 34）。first question：When the amount of my code is relatively small, the clock signal is normal; when the amount of my code is relatively large, the clock signal is abnormal, see the next pictureThat's right, sheer amount of code, the extra code will not be executed (my app launches from Flash)，Below is my executable file information,This is problematicI swear the extra code is not being executed, it's just taking up space。Second question：I don't know what is the relationship between SPI and CAN, when I CAN work properly, CAN can not work properly; When the SPI is disabled or the SPI is abnormal (for example, the clock is abnormal), CAN works properly。this is my question，Thank you for your answer. Hi,I'm developing a bare-metal project with the SR5E1Ex (E3 and E7), and need to determine the current core ID at run-time.Could you please confirm if there are any registers that can be read to determine the current core ID? The only multicore examples I can find for the SR5E1Ex chips use different restart locations to determine the current running core, but if there are any registers that can be read with the core ID, that would be preferable.Regards,Steven Daglish

Hi. I have a problem when trying to establish a serial communication from SPC58 to my PC. My device manager only shows SPC58EC-DISP in the "other devices" section. 1.  SPC58EC-DISP is connected with USB cable to my PC. 2. I have installed the drivers from the link that was provided in the DKReferenceCode: CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers - Silicon Labs.  3. Installed "CP210x Windows Drivers"  and "CP210x VPC Windows" and "CP210x Universal Windows Driver" 4. I run the installer, example "CP210xVCPInstaller_x64". 5. When i try to update the drivers to the SPC58EC-DISP in the device manager, windows doesn´t find the drivers.   Kind Regards, Joona.
