Hello,I am looking into designing a board (sink only) which uses said IC to allow me to use the 15W from the source/PD-compliant source.From what I understand, the I2C interface attached to a master is used (in addition to other functions) to communicate what Power Delivery Output the IC should demand from the source.Now, I want to omit having to communicate through a master. Is it possible to for example set a wanted power level via GPIOs? This way I can implement dip switches or something comparably easy to configure a specific Power Delivery Output.I simply want to be able to make the STUSB4500L negotiate 5V at 3A from the source for me to use it elsewhere on the board.Thanks in advance,Michael

I've run into a problem in this function, specifically involving a struct and a for loop. Hi,I'm trying to know how can I send a txt file through UART protocol to a Bluetooth module so I can transfer data wirelessly to a pc.I could read line by line sending it continuously, but I wanted to know if I could send it as a file that I could then transfer or at least send all the file text as one.Thanks in advance.

I am using vcsel driver that i thought uses i2c but it uses two wire serial interface with 11 bit shift registor 3 for address less than the usual 7 bit address and I heard I could bitbang but I couldn't find it possible anywhere please look at datasheet incase I missed a solution. Hi,As STUSB1600AQTR is currently out of stock everywhere, we have sourced from a secondary source the STUSB1600QTR part number. The datasheets seem almost identical, so we expected the part to be a drop-in replacement. However, this is not the case as our circuit does not work with the QTR part - while it works when we replaced it with our last AQTR part. Is there any difference at all between the two part numbers? Or do we have to assume to have received fake parts?Thanks in advance!

Hi guys ! I am trying to implement a USB-C powering and communication between 2 of my devices. There is no Power Negociation implemented yet. The default voltage is 5V.I want to make sure my source device is safe so I would like it to shut down VBUS if VBUS > 5V + 0.6V thanks to monitoring feature of STUSB1602.I tested the VBUS monitoring feature the following way with this typical implemental (cf fig bellow) : Nothing is plugged on the USB-C connectorStart source deviceEnable Power with I2C communicationSet nominal voltage to 5V with I2C in register 0x21 -> register value is correct and equal to default value.Measure VBUS voltage with multimeter -> 5V is measuredForce 10V on VBUS -> abnormal voltage is not detected and VBUS stays at 10VBased on my experiment, my source device does not behave as expected and cannot protect the sink device from a VBUS overvoltage. Meaning, VUS_EN_SRC stays at 0V during overvoltage condition.Extra info : I tried this experiment with the 0x2E

Can the STUSB4500 support a USB C DRP and USB PD (sink-only) application using the SOM OTG interface illustrated above? Can it drive the VBUS, OC, and ID inputs and receive the EN output? We would like our product to serve as USB UFP (device), USB DFP with 5V VBUS (to support thumb drives), and to receive power from USB PD.

I am using the STM32 NUCLEOL476 with a X-Nucleo-BNRG2A1. I opened the example project for Central Device. The board scans and finds the BLE device. I can select the device and it will connect to it. Then it reads the Service then terminates. I have tried several different working BLE devices and the same problem occurs. I have a circuit with ST3485 supplied at 3.3V. There's a 1.5k pull-up on A, 1.5k pull-down on B and 120R between A and B. So when the transmitter is disabled, A-B=120*(3.3/3120)=127mV. I'm wondering what happens at the receiver and if its output is stable or not.

I am using v1.2.0 of the BlueNRG-LPS navigator. I am trying to run a BLE Beacon example on a STEVAL-IDB012V1. I don't see the device appear on a generic scanner I have. I have had success running other BLE examples on this eval board, but not the beacon examples. I have tried all of the beacon configurations with no luck on any.
