According to the datasheet the S2-LP supports datarates up to 500kpbs in 4GFSK mode. In the S2-LP DK gui I can only set it to 250kpbs, what am i doing wrong?

Hi everyone,I have a problem with the S2LP in OOK mode :So when I'm trying to get any data from the direct through FIFO mode (PCKTCTRL3) I lost the first bit of my data,but in configuration through GPIO mode i get my all data.I'm just wondering if anyone here ever had to deal with this problem.I'm searching a solution, beacause for the moment I will compare my 2 data received one with a first bit at 1 and another with a first bit at 0, I have no other solution for the moment.Regards,Quentin

Hello,I am working on a project on which I want to recover data from another BLE (Bluethoof Low Energy) sensor. I found the module BlueNrg-M2 to be good for my application but I don't know if I need an external mcu to program it. I really need your help !If someone have already worked with this module, it will really be helpuf if i can know how to make the connections between a sensor, the module and the mcu (if needed).

Hi all,I am working on custom bord with STM32F746NG with LCD screen and a bluetooth mesh module.I would like to use TouchGFX and I recently discovered X-CUBE-BLE2 with BlueNRG-M2. However, in STM32CubeMx I saw it's not possible to have TouchGFX Generator and BLE2_Applications.With STM32F7, is it possible to communicate with BlueNRG-M2 module only with BlueNRG-2 package or BLE2_Applications in STM32CubeMX is necessary ?For mesh application I saw X-CUBE-BLEMESH1 but I didn't find it in STM32CubeMX. Gui is created in visual studio and USB interfacing program is in stm32cube IDE. How to interface both or how will connection happen?

I used the BlueNRG GUI app (as described in 2.2 of AN5651) to flash a non-official firmware (this one) on my brand new X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1. I did a few tests and realized that ST BLE sample apps weren't working anymore. So I decided to come back to the official firmware. This time, I used a ST-LINK V2 clone and the STSW-BNRGFLASHER app. I could successfully flash the latest BlueNRG-M2SA_M2SP_DTM_Stack_v2.1c/BLUENRG-M2SP_32MHz_RO_SMPS_off/SPI firmware, but it didn't get me back to the initial situation: ST BLE sample apps still don't work. They all hang immediately in hci_reset() (timeout in hci_send_req()). Any idea what's wrong?

Trying to connect SPBTLE-1S module based on BLUENRG-1 to ST-link/V2 programmer using bluenrg x flasher tool. we did the right connections. but still getting this error. can we use the available SK201 or SK202 evaluation modules in rotating pcb application in full duplex mode?

So far I have successfully downloading the SensorDemo app to my board, but want to create my own application that sends ADC values of a sensor to my phone via BLE. I am able to connect to my phone, but not receiving any values.

Hello we have a BlueNRG-M2SA based design and we are debugging using an STLink/V3 (we have the STLink-V3 Set). This works most of the times (J-Link is working better). Now, one of the devices is read protected and we can not get it to debug anymore. How can we set the readprotect flags? It seems that STCubeProgrammer does not support BlueNRG devices at all (only via Uart) and the provided BlueNRG-X Flasher utility can not set flags. How to have deep access to the BlueNRG device?

Hi everyone,I am currently carrying out tests to choose a BLE module for future development.The system is as follows:An STM32L433 manages the application side and controls the module in charge of BLE communicationA BLE module which contains the Bluetooth part (GATT, GAP, etc.) and is controlled by the STM32L433The communication between the two parts is a UART link.I succeed to control a BGM220P Silicon Lab module with the STM32. But I am unable to set up this type of operation with a Panasonic PAN1780 module which uses a nRF52840. In the Nordic environment, this is called "serialization". I have a BlueNRG-Tile Eval Kit (STEVAL-BCN002V1B) and use the host board (BCN002V1D) for flashing my devices with a similar interface as the actual sensor tile. Now, the host board (BCN002V1D) has stopped working and starts in STM32 DFU bootloader mode if at all. I found that the firmware for the host board might be provided as STM32L1_FW_BCN002V1D.hex in STSW-BLUETILE-DK 1.3.0\Firmware\USB_to_SERIAL\. Is this the correct firmware for the host board to use? If not, could you provide the binary?Next, how do I flash the host board? How to get it into DFU mode (I suspect I erased the entire chip when trying to flash the firmware using STM32CubeProgrammer). I'm hoping to build a project with a BLUENRG2 using a BLUENRG-M2 module. I purchased an X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 board to get started and jumped the SWDIO, SWDCLK, NRESET, VDD and GROUND pins on this board to my STLINK-V2. Initially I could connect to the module, I ran the GPIO Toggle example from the SDK modified to run the LED on the board and validated everything was happy. After that, I erased the board and reprogrammed it with the Beacon example from the SDK and now I can no longer connect to the chip via SWD, using Keil or with the BLUENRG Flasher utility. In either case, I can see the STLINK but it will not detect the chip. I can see activity on the SWD CLK/IO lines with a scope, but it only lasts for a short period and then I get the can't-connect message.I've validated that my STLINK still works to program an STM32 chip. The BLUENRG is still plugging along sending beacon packets every 100mS, but I can't connect to it to erase/reprogram the FLASH. The BOOT pin is pulled down to ground

Hello togetherI'm currently working on a project with the Bluenrg-2 232 Chip. The device is battery powered and in order to notify the user, when the battery is low, I would like to read out the battery level. For that, I thought, I could use the default battery service. But I cannot find it when I scan for the service. I only find the GenericAttribute and GenericAccess Service.  Is the battery service not implemented on this Chip? I'm having issues with the BlueNRG multifunction timers when using the sleep low power mode (SLEEPMODE_WAKETIMER). I've stripped down my project to create a minimal reproducible example which is described below.A virtual timer is being used to periodically awaken from low power mode on a BlueNRG-2. Once awaken, the virtual timer is started again and a multifunction timer is started as well. A flag is set when the multifunction timer interrupts. That flag is checked by a blocking while loop. A routine is run once the flag is set. Following that routine the multifunction timer is stopped and low power mode is entered again using the BlueNRG_Sleep function. An output is set when the multifunction timer is started and reset when the timer interrupt occurs.This works fine when the low power mode is CPU-Halt mode (SLEEPMODE_CPU_HALT) as shown in the attached capture. I am trying to exchange data (str data) between two STM32 throughout Lora connectivity. Both STM32 has a lora module and the connection between them is working fine. Hello,I've developed a custom board with STM32F446 and BLUENRG-M2SP, but I can't realize connection. I use the same code for X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1, in particular X-CUBE-BLE2 Sample App and I've changed SPI pin. If I set the UserBoard mode as HCI_interface, when starting the code the device is unable to define the address and fails all initializations.if I set HCI_interface as template, initializations are done correctly but I can't find the device with the app. Can sameone help me?Thank you,Angela

Communication with the chip BLUENRG-2N goes through SPI. When Chip Select GND, there is no interruption on IRQ line, all voltage and quartz are in order. Then I stitched through the SWD and the BlueNRG-1 ST-Link Utility program first with the BlueNRG_2N_Updater.bin firmware and with the address 0x10040000, then with the firmware BlueNRG_2N_FW_V3_2_0.bin and the address 0x10042000, and after that,I get this on a pin IRQ like the picture. Tell me what could be the problem, maybe I'm not flashing it correctly?

hello, I"m trying to develop an application for LCD using stm32f407. the application requires graphical data that we are trying to save in external nor flash. the nor flash is connected to uC over FSMC interface .we are using stm32 cube ide for programming and can see the data allocated in an external flash under "memory regions".now we need to be able to flash the program this into external flash so that uC can access it while running its code.however, we are unable to find any app notes or snippets for the same.we have found how to do this with QSPI but we want to access using FSMC only.any help would be greatly appreciated .Thank you.
