I trying to read iBeacon adv data for uuid, major and minor. But I notice I only able to get the address. I tried to print out the AD data, but it always tell me its empty when iBeacon is detected. Hello everyone,I've designed a PCB With a STM32H7 which is supposed to control a BlueNRG-MS. The design is the similar to the Figure 6 of the component datasheet: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/bluenrg-ms.pdfI didn't put XTAL1 since it's optional. I also put a Balun instead of the impedence matching circuit (not related to the problem).My PCB is ready and have all the component. We are using the STUSB4500 PD chip in one of our applications. The requirement is to set the Power delivery to 12 V and 5A for the sink. I have been referring the driver code provided by ST to program our microcontroller. To set PDO to 12 V and 5 A, i program the DPM_SNK_PDO3 registers using I2C. Hi,There are three type of source PDOs:Fixed SupplyVariable Supply (non-Battery)BatteryDocuments gave examples for the decision algorithm for Fixed Supply type source PDOs. But for Variable Supply (non-Battery) and Battery type of source PDOs, the voltage is a range rather than a single fix number. So a match happens when required voltage fall into the range and the required current is less than or equal to the source Operational Current (for Variable Supply(non-battery) type), and the required power is less than or equal to source Operational Power(For Battery type), right?Thanks,Yan

I have a blueNRG-2 chip on hand, and I am looking to program the chip to have the ability to connect to android devices (for a project). Am I correct in my thinking that I need a BlueNRG-M2SA module in order to achieve my end result?

I am using BLE Scanner app to write data to a characteristic in BLE device. I sent 35 bytes of data, but the device receives data 20 bytes per write operation and then receives 15 bytes more. How to receive all the 35 bytes with single write operation.I tried change BLE_INIT Parameters i.e changed MAX_ATT_MTU_CONF to 250, but it behaves the same way no change.How can I achieve that?

Hello to all,I succesfully upload the DTM_SPI firmware on my X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 board, , using the SWD, but the BLE chip is no more responding. I'm using the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 with a STM32L476RG-Nucleo, and I tried the "SampleAppThT" application to set up the BLE chip, but, as I said, I have no responce from it. I updated the DTM_SPI Keil project with this specific define for the BlueNRGM2SP: HS_SPEED_XTAL=HS_SPEED_XTAL_32MHZ, LS_SOURCE=LS_SOURCE_INTERNAL_RO and SMPS_INDUCTOR=SMPS_INDUCTOR_NONE, as indicated in DT0137 document. But without success. The "SampleAppThT" program outpus is:HWver 0, FWver 0 Setting BD_ADDR failed 0xff. GATT_Init failed. GAP_Init failed. SERVER: BLE Stack Initialized Error while adding Sample Service. Error while adding service. General Discoverable Mode 255Could someone please tell me how to run DTM_SPI software for BlueNRGM2SP chip on X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1?Many many thanks.Clemente

hi,We designed a board using BlueNRG-2 and we uploaded the GPIO demo code available in BlueNRG-2 navigator (to toggle DIO14) to the board using the BlueNRG-ST- Link utility. The board didn't detected with high Frequency(.9MHz-4Mhz) so we changed the SWD frequency into 480Khz. Then board connected and programmed successfully. But code didn't work. could you please check on this issue and please update what we can do in order to work our board.Please find the attached Schematics and the demo code for reference. The problem is that the convert/chip-select pin needs to be asserted for about 700ns for the conversion to complete.The NSS signal of the stm32f4 only is asserted a very short time, so that would not do.Maybe use a timer to generate the convert pulse that somehow also triggers the spi transfer?Can this be achieved?And would that involve an interrupt every 1 microsecond? Hi,I am trying to implement CSMA feature on S2-LP. I am working with SDK_Csma_X examples. The SDK_Csma_A example is a transmiter and the SDK_Csma_B is receiver. I have to have the transceiver. When I combine the two examples there is no acnowledgement IRQ_TX_DATA_SENT and the second node does not receive the data. I tried to enable CSMA just before send a TX command and disable it after receive IRQ_TX_DATA_SENT in status. I also tried to switch S2-LP to ready state before enable CSMA with no result. Is there the clear guidance how to implement CSMA feature when RX mode is necessary all the time but sometimes the device have to respond by transmitting data ?Best Regards

Hi,I am at a complete loss, so I would really appreciate any direction you could give me.I have bought a STEVAL-IDB011V1 evaluation board for the BlueNRG-LP and I would like to edit / extend one of the example applications. But this is my first time ever with STM MCU products. My question is then, which compiler do I have to use here? I see in the user manual of the evaluation board the Keil and IAR are mentioned, but these require a paid license. Isn't it possible to use any free of charge compiler?EDIT: I have tried using the Atollic TrueStudio, but apparently the BlueNRG-LP is still not supported. Can somebody confirm that? Any other option, apart from that?/Nikos

After the call returns BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS, but the target BLE Peripheral slave device stops advertising forever (i.e. a race between scan result, connection request and peripheral stop advertising/go out of range)?It would be nice if a connection request timed out in a similar way to how a general scan times out (with a GAP procedure complete, 0x02). Now I have to babysit the BlueNRG-MS with my own timer after making a connection request - is there an easier way?Thanks,

Hi,​I'm trying to configure my STUSB4500 by following the STSW-STUSB002 quick start guide.I have everything ready except for the NUCLEO-F072RB board.Instead, I have Nucleo-H743ZI2 and the STM32F769 Discovery board, but I'm pretty sure I can't just drag and drop the F072RB board binary to my boards.Is there a way to tweak the binary or create a new binary to work on Nucleo-H743ZI2 or the STM32F769 Discovery board?I can buy the Nucleo-F072RB for $15, but if I could use my current boards, it will be great.Thank You

Do we need to do a software reset or any additional function in order to trigger the downstream device to adjust their sink settings and reset the power contract that is in place? Or is the power contract automatically renegotiated when the POD current setting is updated via I2C?

I have connected Stm32f407 discovery board with Simcom A7670 via USART6 but in asynchronous mode, connecting UART Tx of A7670 with USART6 Rx of STM43f407 discovery board and UART Rx of A7670 with USART6 Tx of STM43f407 discovery board respectively. I am using STM32CubeIDE, so I have enabled USART6 Global Interrupt in NVIC Serttings and added USART Rx with mode Circular in DMA Settings and using 115200 bits/s as default. Hence when I burn my program into my MCU, using Putty connected with PC with 115200 Serial connection, doesnt shows any thing into its screen. Hello, I hope this post is in the right place.I've been trying for a while to integrate an ATWINC1500-MR210BP module in my custom board with a STM32L151VeT6. Project is done with STM32CubeMX and later with STM32Cube IDE. For debugging purposes I am only trying a simple code, sending a command with SPI and checking that response is the good one.The problem is that I am not getting the right SPI response in my custom board but when I use a NUCLEO-L152 board with a ATWINC1500 (same one) module I have the correct response.SPI config is the following : CPOL = 0, CPHA = 0, 8bits, MSB First, 1 MBit/s (using MSI RC with prescaler 2).
