Hi, I am kinda new to this community.I am working with STM32L432KC micro controller and using it to control a PTC heater having power rating of 20Watts.The control is basically ON/OFF control with single pin activating the relay and switching the heaters ON.I am continously measuring the temperature of these heaters through k thermocouple and MAX6675IC.The problem is when below a certain threshold temperature heater is switched ON the the temperature immediately drops to zero. Any one having any insights on this Problem?

I am having an STM32F411E board and I am trying to read values of MAX4466 analog mic using the onboard ADC interface(12 bit resolution). I get values starting from around 1000(0.8 V) and whenever I make sounds it slightly increases and that's it. I've checked with my logic analyzer and whenever I make sounds the output momentarily goes up and down until it goes off as expected (I know that the results of a logic analyzer are not relevant for an analog signal yet I just wanted to know if the mic reacts at all). By the way I'm using my own GPIO driver which is tested and has no issues. Hi,    I am trying to interface a graphical LCD (ST7567) with the STM32G0B1RCT6 using the U8g2 library and a software SPI interface. I have the U8g2 driver, but I don't know how to configure the ST7567 driver with the STM32G0B1RCT6. I will attach the graphical LCD ST7567. Can anyone help me?

Hello everyone,I'm currently trying to send and receive SMS with the "Adafruit FONA GSM SIM800H" module and a Nucleo-L432KC board. Initially, I tested the module with an Arduino UNO as described in the Adafruit FONA documentation, and everything worked fine—I was able to send and receive SMS messages. However, now I want to use the STM32 board.I created a new project using STM32CubeMX and configured HUART1 for the GSM module and HUART2 for serial print. The issue I'm facing is: when I send "AT\r\n" with HAL_UART_Transmit, my rx_buffer remains empty. I initially thought it could be a logic level issue, as the Arduino UNO operates at 5V and the STM32 board uses 3.3V, but even after adding a logic level converter, there is still no response to the AT command.I have connected the module’s RX to D5 and TX to D4, and I've enabled interrupts for D4.Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this issue or suggestions on what I could try?

Hi,I am new to developing applications for capacitive touch. I selected the 32F072BDISCOVERY kit, which features the STM32F072RB MCU. I downloaded the STSW-STM32139 firmware package from the product page and successfully built the STM32F072B-Discovery_Demo program in STM32CubeIDE, then flashed it to the 32F072BDISCOVERY board. It worked well. Next, I attempted to debug the application using STM Studio (Version 3.6.0). I downloaded the user manual from this link:https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um1025-getting-started-with-stmstudio-stmicroelectronics.pdfFollowing the manual, I was able to view variables in VarViewer by importing them from the executable. The manual mentions a window for "SNR plugin configuration," but I couldn't find it. Can you assist me in accessing this window?

Hi, I'm currently working on a project using the "Black" STM32F407VET6 board, and on the lookout for a good 7" touchscreen display and 5 MP camera choice.For the display, I'm considering an 800x480 SSD1963 based touchscreen panel that can connect to the LCD connectors on the board.What exactly should I look for? Reading older posts, I'm aware that the STM32F407VET6 not having a lot of onboard memory is a concern, and displaying a UI with LVGL isn't the only thing I want to do. I plan to use Zephyr OS and there will be some PWM controller code that will have to live alongside the display stuff.For the camera, I came across this post that links to AN5020 and recommends a 5MP OV5642 based camera. My requirement is also 5MP so I think that would work for me.Would appreciate any help regarding points I should be considering, reducing memory usage and if this kind of system sounds feasible on this particular platform. Thanks

I have STM32 Nucleo-G0B1RE Development Board. In our application we require OSDP protocol interafce. So that's why we purchase HID SIGNO 20 Reader. Now I want to implement OSDP via RS485. So, How i implement OSDP in the STM controller. Can you please guide me. Is there any sample code or library availbale kindely share to me this would help me for developing the OSDP protocol with STM32 Nucleo-G0B1RE Development Board.

Any idea to examine / evaluate the trx files from TraceX (from ThreadX / Azure RTOS) on Linux? wine TraceX.exe reports "...System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed..." and does not work. Maybe, anybody has written an parser for translating the binary format of trx files into an csv, xml, txt format or something like that.

I’m working on a project using an STM32F407G and a SIM7600 GSM module. After successfully sending AT commands via UART to configure the GSM module, I switched to PPPOS. I’m able to get a valid IP address, gateway, and netmask from the modem: GSM: LTE_ppposInitGSM: status_cb: ConnectedGSM: ipaddr = 100.73.194.248GSM: gateway = 10.64.64.64GSM: netmask = 255.255.255.255However, I’m encountering an issue with DNS resolution. Using netconn_gethostbyname, I can successfully resolve the IP for a hostname. But when I try using dns_gethostbyname, it fails with a DNS resolution error. The DNS server is correctly set (e.g., 1.1.1.1), but for some reason, dns_gethostbyname doesn’t work as expected. I am trying to use DWM1000 for ranging as well as communication but I am unable to do it . I debugged the code and Know that Initiator is sending data but is not being heard . The Rx buffer in responder is geting updated by random values.I have attached the code to both here . Though I made sure that the STM32 NUCLEO-U545RE-Q device was connected to CubeProgrammer, MATLAB Simulink is unable to read it. Any help that can be provided will be appreciated!I appreciate any help you can provide.    

Hello, In pair with the LT8722 I use Stm32 Nucleo U5A5ZJQ and TECF1S Peltier device (7v and 1.2A)  Currently as I am trying to communicate with it through the SPI. Just basic status acquisition packet 32bit transmit and 32bit receive. I send 0xF0001491 and there are three cases. CS pin cycle (high->low->high->low->high) is done twice, one for tx and second for rx, separately. Results in 0x0690XXA5, which indicates acknowledged, but few UVLO alarms that I have no idea how to interpret since, only Vddio and Vin UVLO are explained in datasheet. CS pin cycle (high->low->high) is done. Results in 0x0690XXC3, not acknowledged, same alarms.  CS pin cycle (high->low->high), but with TransmitReceive command, which sends them at the same time. Hi all, I am porting a c++ project from the STM32H7 EVAL board to the STM32H7 Nucleo 144.The project uses CubeMX to generate the project, then I port in all the source code and set the c/c++/linker directories, symbols and settings.The project uses FreeRTOS and one thread of the RTOS is going to an infinite loop in a default error handler (_exit()) when calling new() on an instance of a library. The other threads continue to run ok.The linker puts user data in RAMD1 because it is the largest section and I need the space.Some things I have checked /tried:Library is compiled with same C++ version as project (C++ 14)Hardware FPU is enabled (Library uses floats)Minimum stack and heap are sufficient in linker scriptRTOS Thread allocated stack / heap sizes are sufficientRAMD1 section is enabled with clockTried aligning data to both 4 and 8 bytes in linker 128 / 4096 byte malloc() page sizeStepping through instructions, I can see this is the line that causes the issue. bl 0x80aa7fe <_Znwj&

I find that, every so often, flash download to my Nucleo-U575ZI-Q board from OpenOCD (driven by Zephyr west) fails.  The error reported is usually Error: [STM32U575ZITxQ.cpu] Could not find MEM-AP to control the core, though sometimes it doesn't seem to even get that far.  This happens on more than one board and from more than one PC.  The FW image I am loading is not a secure one. Hello,I am facing an issue while reading M95M01 EEPROM, i figured out that the actual problem is while writing.when i send write enable command looks like it requires a delay before that, though i am giving break point before sending write enable command. just want to know is there need of delay actually, specially when we change the page while writing.I am using M95M01 with TI CC2538 over SPI bus.normally it is reading correct data but as the pages changes 7 i send write enable again, after that it reads 0.Kindly guide me what can be the issue. Help will be appreciated.

I am using an STM32L422RB and I have added the X-Cube-EEPROM SW package (version 3.0.0). After intensive use I noticed that the eEEPROM driver is actually writing 64 bits of 0's to my emulated EEPROM space on every device power up or wakeup.  On further investigation this is linked to the function EE_Init which calls the function VerifyPagesFullWriteVariable(0U, 0U) and according to the code comments performs a dummy write of 0 to get rid of potential instability of line value 0x0xFFFFFFFF consecutive to a reset during write here. Why is this done and can this behaviour be avoided as this is effectively wearing out the flash needlessly, my application needs to go in and out of Standby regularly to save power and these writes will create non-negligible Flash wear. Hello everyone, I have a weird problem. At my internship, I was given a SIM900 and SIM7600 module and told to make projects based on them, yet I cannot find these modules anywhere on the internet. The project I wish to do with the SIM900 is thus: Send an SMS to my phone. Here is the SIM900 module I was given:Here is the SIM7600 module, which is approx. the same:I have decided that the best course of action from this point onwards would be to try to use the pins of the chip itself to suit my needs. That is fine. What strikes me as odd is that I cannot, for the life of me, find these things anywhere. Are there any alternate sources I can try? I wrote the numbers on the cards into Google, I did Google reverse search, I tried to read the pins and figure out any distinct features but the SD card is the only one I can think of--which led me nowhere new. Is my research simply insufficient? Hi, I bought an DevEBox STM32F407 board to experiment with, using it as an Arduino on steroids. I installed al the required stuff in the Arduino IDE and I now have this board available there. But Windows 11 does not know what to do with the board when hooked up via USB. There is no COM port available in Arduino and the devide manager sees something, but has no drivers for it. I installed some drivers I found googling, but to no avail. I have the BT0 and 3V3 pins connected when I connect the board, if I don't Windows thinks of the board is a USB drive. With the jumper in place, device manager calls it STM32 BOOTLOADER, but as said it doesn't know what to do with it. Please advise.Cheers,Hugo
