Hello,I'm currently evaluating STEVAL-ISV020V1 using AN4397 and I'm not reading any voltages from both LDO outputs.Here's my setup:PV_in: 2.6-2.7 V PVBATT: 5v supercapSW1 and SW2 enabledI can confirm that the supercap is charging as STORE shows ~3.9-4V and BATT shows a gradually increasing voltage which reached >3.3V per my last test. SW1 and SW2 are enabled as both LDO_EN pins in CN3 show ~3.9-4V. UVP shows ~1.2-1.3V while EOC ~1V.However, I am not reading any values at all in LDO1 and LDO2 in CN2. Am I missing something in my setup?

I am testing the board with a 14s Li-ion battery, but I am unable to read the cell voltages or configure any register through the GUI. I shorted the X1 and P2 power supply inputs and supplied 12 V to both. This was the only setup in which I could get a green ACK indicator. The results were:Only cell 1 showed a voltage, but it was incorrect (5.8 V).When I try to write or read any register, I receive an ACK, but the register value does not remain as written.I also tried to connect VBAT (P2-15) to C14 (by soldering R22) and GND (P2-9 or 23) to C0, but in this configuration the device does not start and the D13 LED does not blink. I tried several times, resetting all the power supplies in different sequences, but I still could not communicate with the device.I have not been able to start the IC using only the battery or to read the correct voltage values. Any tips would be really appreciated.

We are currently using the L9305 IC to drive solenoid contactors in our project. The hardware configuration follows the specifications provided in the datasheet.We are able to communicate with the device via SPI and read all registers. However, we are facing the following issues:After initialization, the RES echo bit in the PINSTATUS register is reporting low from high, though we are pulling it high GPIO (also in scope it is reporting high)Other echo bits such as SAFETYn, FAULTn, and EN_DR are set high. The POR flag, SPI Timeout, VDD Under Voltage, and CP Under Voltage flags are set during initialization but are cleared in later stages. Yes, they are cleared after the first read. However, the faults related to POR, VDD Under Voltage, and CP Under Voltage are not reported again afterward.  I do not see the POR flag being set again, indicating these faults are not re-triggered. Only the SPI Timeout flag continues to be set.

Hi,Below is the setup I'm using. An SPV1040 connected to a small 2Vmp solar panel charges two 50F supercapacitors connected in series up to Vout = 4.8V. The design is taken from the AN3319 application note of the STEVAL-ISV006V2. Currently, I have many pcbs with this circuit working.So far the circuit does what it is supposed to do: charges the supercaps up to 4.8V using the energy harvested from the solar panel. However, in some pcbs there seems to be a floating voltage in the SOURCE_INPUT node, here's a step-by-step example of what happens:The solar panel receives radiation and SPV1040 starts charging the supercaps.Supercaps are charge up to 4.8VThe solar panel stops receiving radiation so its output voltage should be reduced to almost 0V, however, in the SOURCE_INPUT node there is ~0.5V even after disconnecting the solar panel from the circuit. It's like the SPV1040 lets voltage pass from output to input.Supercaps start to get drained by the SPV1040. I assumed it

I need some clarifications regarding the IC from STMicroelectronics: VN9E30FTR – 6-channel high-side driver with 24-bit SPI interface for traffic signal controller applications.  In the datasheet, it is mentioned that the internally limited current is 35A for channels IOUT0, IOUT1, IOUT2, IOUT3, IOUT4, and IOUT5. Could you please confirm: Whether this 35A limit is shared across all channels ? If possible, provide the maximum allowable current per channel in a tabular format for reference. Additionally, please advise if there are any precautions we need to take when switching the load per channel. The Lamp Driver IC which is being used in Traffic Signal Controller should be capable of driving a load current of at least 5A per channel when all channels are switched ON simultaneously: Channel 1 – 5A Channel 2 – 5A Channel 3 – 5A Channel 4 – 5A Channel 5 – 5A Channel 6 – 5A Total Load: 5A × 6 channels = 30A (all channels ON simultaneously), or as per the maximum load specification

Hi,I have a question about the RUN command because there are different speed to MOVE command.In RUN command the speed min its 0,015 Step/second , in MOVE command the max speed min it is 15.25 Step/Second.I need run the motor at very low speed similar to RUN command but i need set the number of step.Are there a solutions ?Thank you.Giorgio Tessari

Hi,I am using HVLED007 in my 80V, 45W SMPS (Input voltage range 160V-300V). Is it possible for the IC to operate in primary side regulation mode instead of the conventional opto-coupler-based secondary side control? Unlike other ICs, I cannot see an internal E/A or its characteristics mentioned in the IC datasheet.However, from the datasheet of the HVLED007, I found the following paragraph: "The IC is provided with a control input intended for being driven by the phototransistor of an optocoupler to close a secondary-regulated isolated control loop. However, with the addition of a simple external circuitry, it can be used to close a primary-regulated voltage loop as well."Is there any reference document that can clarify whether the HVLED007 can be used in PSR? If so, what modifications or external circuitry are needed?Thanks!

I plan to use the LD1086DT33TR LDO to output 3.3V with an input voltage of 5V. However, I am not aware of the requirements for the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of the output filter capacitor for the LD1086DT33TR, and this parameter is not mentioned in the datasheet. I intend to use either the GRM31CZ71C226ME15L or the CC1206KKX7R6BB226 as the output filter capacitor, and I am considering using two such capacitors in parallel. I wonder if this configuration is appropriate.(Or a 25YXF47MFFC5X11)? 

Hi, I'm working with this VNQ7E100AJTR IC , I have a connected the solenoid of rating 2.2A rating at one output channel. the particular output pin got damaged and irrespective of the input the particular output pin is always High (12V). what is the maximum output current of the IC at each output channel? what the recommended output current maximum to be connected at the Output(OUTPUT0)? 1.I wanted to know whether this IC will work if PWM input is given at the INPUT0-3 in VNQ7E100AJTR IC and will the Output of this IC will be PWM or not ?2. what is the max output current of this IC for each output Pin (4 channel).Is the output current of each channel 2A or less?3.For OFF-state open-load with external circuitry,4.For RPU , the value of IL(off2)min @ 4V is 3uA ?Kindly do the needful as soon as possibleRegards.

We have a prototype board with the STSPIN958 full bridge but we see that it cannot measure positive current (in coil) when the voltage is switched negative, output shows current = 0.We switch from 48V to -48V on the coil. (turning the magnetic field off fast)When the current becomes also negative then we have a measurement again.So we have a blind spot after the voltage polarity on our output changes. Is there a configuration with this IC to keep measuring the current after the voltage polarity switches? Thanks

BMS - to what extent is there a mature ecosystem and codebase for scalable battery management - not only for varying call capacities, but for varying configurations? I am interested in the MCU and control behind a 3S2P config up to even something like 3SxP (x probably no greater than 4), or 4SxP. I am looking at the 18xxx series of LiPo batteries. Particularly - STM MCU platform/dev/daughter boards, any associated peripherals, and code references.2.) I am also looking for similar solutions as above for research into grid forming and grid following inverters - preferably on a scale suitable for lab work, but in pursuit of what we would see on utility scale units.If anyone could point me in the right direction to get started, I would appreciate the assistance! Hi!I have an issue with stm32 Nucleo F767zi power setup.When I power up the stm32 Nucleo F767zi on 12V, the regulator ic and the controller chip heats up. Why?I have also changed the JP3 jumper to (Vin-5V) option. And the JP1 jumper is off.What's the problem and how I can resolve it?

After visiting the ST website the new GAN 700V Fet's got my attentionPart numbers starting with with SGT are under evaluation.Tested a few mastergan4, I found those very fast and could reach easy the 3 MHz with low rise and fall times (below 10ns)My question: is there any information about speed and rise/fall times available?Is it possible to join a testing program or get some samples to test? 

I have been trying to use the EV-VNF1048F with the vnf1048f high side switch on it to act as an SPI slave to an external ATSAME54 microcontroller master. I just want to read the current that the efuse experiances when connected between a DC power supply and a load. However I cannot seem to turn on the high side switch functionality and reliably read the current output. The datasheet for the fuse is very confusing. I follow the steps of sending an SPI frame to set the unlock bit to switch the fuse into unlocked state of CR3. Then I set the enable bit and the high side switch bit of CR1 to go into the unlocked state and turn on the HS MOSFET. I also toggle the watchdog bit every 50 ms. However, the switch does not behave with the correct functionality. I have attched my main.c file for reference
