Hi, I was trying to create a small 8x8 / 4x4 point cloud using a VL53L5CX sensor, and I can get the depth data for each zone, but I was wondering if there was a way to get x,y,z from this information? Like if there was a way to know the vertical and horizontal angle for every zone on the VL53L5CX and then calculate the x,y,z location of the points using that and the depth data. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello STM32 Community,I am developing a system on the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q using ThreadX and NetX Duo and I am having a hard time to make the ethernet work. I want to implement a web server in my system but I cannot make the Ethernet communicate.Problem:I am unable to receive or transmit any Ethernet frames. The PHY link establishes successfully (from what I see on my linux terminal, autonegotiation completes, Link is UP, and the LEDs on the plug turns on normally), but pinging the Nucleo's static IP yields no response. Wireshark shows no ARP or ICMP packets originating from the Nucleo.Trying to debug, I see that the the MAC/DMA interrupt `ETH1_IRQHandler` is never triggered by incoming network traffic. It fires exactly twice during the initial board boot sequence(where, for what I understand, some DMA errors flag are raised), but remains completely silent afterward. From the logs that I send to the serial port it appears that from the NetXDuo point of view is everything fine.The D-cache is

I am now trying to perform new tests on the device, but I believe I am unable to bypass the current protection settings. I would appreciate your assistance on this matter. A TFM application was previously installed on the board. When connecting via STM32CubeProgrammer, I observe the following: 1. Hello, we are seeing a weird symptom in our application in which all LTDC registers are reading back the same seemingly random number.  This is during a debugging session via system viewer (we are using Keil 5.40 and compiler 5), OR when reading and printing out values to serial at runtime.  The LTDC seems to be operating properly (mostly, working through various issues but it's displaying graphics at least.  I'm stumped, and so are the AIs I use.  Any ideas as to why this might be? 

I have some questions regarding the L78M05AB regulator IC.1. Could you please investigate the temperature at which this IC's the thermal protection actually activates?2. I have been informed that the thermal protection mechanism shuts down the output voltage.    However, when we applied heat, we observed behavior suggesting that the output appears to remain at a constant level.    If the temperature is kept at a specific value, will the output remain constant (for example, 3V)?"3. Could you please clarify the behavior when SOA protection is triggered?    Does the circuit limit the output, or does it enter a shutdown state?4. Related to SOA protection, is there any case where the voltage is reduced and latched at a certain level?5. Are there any restrictions or specifications regarding harmonics or noise on the input voltage of the regulator IC?

Hello!I am using a 32.768 kHz TCXO (TG-3541CE) as the LSE to count the RTC.The MCU is an STM32L452RE.At room temperature, the RTC operates correctly, but at high temperatures (around 50 °C), the RTC stops.Strangely, once it has stopped, touching the MCU by finger causes the RTC to start running again.Suspecting an issue with the TCXO, I tried a different TCXO, but the same behavior occurred. When I added a 200 Ω damping resistor between the TCXO and the MCU, the RTC no longer stopped even when the temperature was raised to 60 °C.This seems to have solved the problem for now, but I am concerned about whether 200 Ω is an appropriate value and whether this is truly a fundamental solution.If you have any ideas about possible root causes or considerations, I would really appreciate your advice.

Hello everyone, I have a NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board and I am trying to use the HRTIM to output a 50Hz pwm signal. I hook the output to an oscilloscope and I see that the pulse has a period of 19.2ms instead of 20ms, meaning that while I have configured the clock for the HRTIM to run at 2MHz (meaning that it needs 40000 ticks to complete a period) it runs at 2.6MHz. Can anyone help me understand what am I doing wrong? I have attached the .ioc file. Thanks in advance!

I am currently trying to interface it with a BME668 environmental sensor and an AS7265x Spectral Triad sensor. However, I am facing an issue while attempting to view the output through a serial monitor. Hi all, I am trying to implement simple USB-FS communication on a BlueCoin board (STEVAL-BCNCS01V1). I am following the official STM tutorial on USB CDC and referencing the official SW package for BlueCoin. So, for USB I need PLL source from HSE clock: BlueCoin schematic shows that there is a crystal oscillator @16Mhz (NDK NX2520SA) installed directly on the board, so I configured RCC HSE as Crystal/Ceramic Resonator; the problem is that the function HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) in SystemClock_Config retrieves HAL_TIMEOUT as a result. Timeout value is default at 100ms. Clock configuration in STM32CubeMX is as suggested in the official USB tutorial: My current debug configuration has BlueCoin connected via SWD to a NUCLEO-G0B1RE, as suggested in UM2240 (see page 14). Could you please help me? Am I missing something? Thanks to anybody who can help!

Hi, The L9945 driver used in our proprietary automobile controller unit responsible for controlling actuators and pumps in exhaust system regulating harmful exhaust gases adhering to emission control policy. Case1: OUT 2 channel: Nominal frequency = 800 Hz, Max = 1000Hz Short to Battery (STB) •        Function is consistent till 99.99% and no failure detected till the range. •        However, setting the frequency to maximum requirement 1000Hz caused failure even at 80% TON itself. HelloCurrently I am working with NUCLEO-N657X0-Q by using STM32CubeIDE_2.1.1 STM32Cube_FW_N6_V1.3.0MxCube v6.17.0Trying to investigate and migrate CDC ACM feature in to the my own project. As basis I am using Ux_Device_CDC_ACM Example provided by ST as reference.It was discovered that Ux_Device_CDC_ACM example would not work properly after MxCube project regeneration -- it goes to the HardFault_Handler() at some point (not defined currently at which point)The investigation showed that the issue is connected with the Optimization level (MxCube updated STM32CubeIDE project files) just only for the one single source file: "stm32n6xx_hal_rcc_ex.c". If optimization level is set to "-O0" for the mentioned file -- HardFault_Handler() is observed. By changing it to the "-O3" -- the application works successfully.Could you please explain this "hidden" dependency, and what is the reason of this?

Hi all,I designed a custom STM32 board that powers up, but the firmware starts only after I manually press the reset button. Once reset is pressed, everything works normally.The clock source is an external crystal, and BOOT pins are configured with resistors.Questions:Should I suspect reset timing, clock startup, or BOOT pin state first?Would increasing reset delay with an RC network help?On the PCB, how close should crystal traces and load capacitors be placed to the MCU pins?
