Hi Team, I have been working on the STM32L476RG board for a week now, I have tested a basec button led program and it was working properly, and I developed other sample codes like I2c and buzzer codes and gave a gap, now suddenly I notice that my board is not able to run the previously running codes as mentioned above. I am having no clue what could actually go wrong!!!! I have also came across the STM32 Cube programmer where you can erase the flash memory like doing a mass erase to recover the board, which also didn't work?Does this usually happen with STM32 boards? Hi,I am working on DAC on Nucleo-H563ZI board. I am using PA4 on ST Morpho header as DAC1_OUT1.In idle state when the USER USB port is connected (irrespective of ST-LINK port connection), it shows a constant voltage of 660mV on output.During sine generation using DAC, there is no offset of this voltage observed and the output is in range.But if the USER USB is not connected, the output remains 0V. What could probably be causing the 660mV idle state output?

Hi,I’m working on a project with an STM32G491 board and need to document our firmware-upgrade process.Current setup:Initial flashing is done with ST-Link/CubeProgrammer.Later updates come from an embedded Linux device that runs a custom binary to flash the MCU over UART/I²C.We already have a basic document that covers the application side, but we’d like to add a brief section explaining the MCU-side flashing flow.Does anyone have a flowchart or reference diagram showing the STM32 flashing process—either using CubeProgrammer (ST-Link) or via UART/I²C bootloader—that we could include or adapt?Thanks!

Hi,I have a custom developed stm32 project with stm32f411ret6 mcu, i have done my full board and got the pcb printed. I have a 4 pin header on my pcb with vcc,gnd, swdio, swclk for uploading the bootloader for the first time. I have done this several time earlier successfully with stlink/v2 programmer, but now it shows the error(image 3 at bottom): Next I bought a stm32f446 nucleo board and tried with the onboard stlink by removing both the jumpers to program this mcu on the custom pcb, still stlink does not connect.  On my pcb header 3.3v power is also coming successfully I have checked it too.    Also, my boot pin and nrst is connected on custom pcb like this:  under both stlink connection methods i am getting this error, trying to solve these for many days and getting the same connection issue as follows, please help me,  

Hi all, I'm using Nucleo H755 I have configured UART with 115200 baud rate and the Rx in Interrupt mode issue: While the STM is configured with 115200 baud rates, when I transmit some data with the same baud rate either the data is corrupted or data is not read/ transmitted, if I reduce the baud rate of the other device by 3 times the baud rate set in ST the Data is read properly. if anyone have any solution regarding this issue, please let me know in this thread I have checked with different STM ide versions, different H755 boards I'm facing this same issue also, I have checked with H723 which is working fine for the same setup. there are different issues with the H755 boards. also, if anyone from STM team finds this message I'm also facing a issue while reconfiguring the ioc file from cube ide some pins get reset every time If any other details required, please feel free to ping me

Goodmorning,I am using STM32L552RCT6 in my design that I intend to use through a USB interface.I'm trying to implement the VBUS sense (compulsory since my device will be self-powered). I have read AN4879, and it's clear to me that I have to add a voltage divider to avoid the situation where I provide 5V to the MCU while it's not powered. The values recommend from AN4879 makes perfect sense too.However, I checked the schematics of the NUCLEO-L55ZE-Q, and the values of the resistor there are very much different!Can anyone explain to me why there is this discrepancy and which one I should follow?Thanks!

I was reviewing the schematic for the STM32H7x3I-EVAL board and noticed that the ETH_nINT pin from the Ethernet PHY is connected to pin PG7 of the microcontroller.I'm having trouble finding clear documentation on how this pin functions. I’m using an STM32 board to drive an SSD1322 128×64 OLED display with my own driver library. It used to work fine without issues. Without changing the code, the display suddenly became completely unresponsive. - Power supply shows 0A current draw (normally it used to pull around ~0.3A).- During debug, I noticed something strange: inside MX_GPIO_Init() the code enters, but it hangs atGPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; and never progresses beyond that line.I double-checked all hardware connections multiple times, nothing seems wrong.When I swapped to another STM32 board of the same model, everything worked again without any changes.This makes me suspect a hardware fault on the original board (possibly ESD damage). My questions:- What should I pay special attention to when debugging this kind of issue?- How can I pinpoint the exact root cause (e.g., RAM/stack corruption, HardFault analysis, hardware measurements)?- What’s the recommended way to solve this and prev

I try to connect by usb cable via stm32cubeprogrammer to new board but windows not see any st-link interface. older st-link v2 work fine but this on boad interfave not work. Com's led light on green and red colour. led 5VLD12 on green display work - whats wrong ?

Removed the ST-Link plastic jumpers and all four pins are free now - as shown on the blue rectangle. As well as, the yellow rectangle shows the 6 pins of CN4 on one column.It seems that pins 1 and 3 are 3.3 V and GND respectively based on the use manual (https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um1724-stm32-nucleo64-boards-mb1136-stmicroelectronics.pdf) but when I check those two pins using a multimeter I get no voltage! Any idea where is the issue?

Hi,I'm buiding a custom board which involve STM32H753XIH6 and  IS42S32800J-6TLI, I noticed that STM32H7B3-EVAL schematic has the following:The SDRAM (IS42S32800J-6BL) does not use A12 and A13 — only A0–A11 are connected.The Bank Address pins (BA0, BA1) of the SDRAM are instead connected to FMC_A14 and FMC_A15.This raises my question:Why does the STM32 FMC map BA0/BA1 to FMC_A14/A15 specifically, instead of FMC_A12/A13?Can you confirm if the schematic is correct for this SDRAM interface given the below configuration. Thanks,Moahmmed

I don't use the internal Step Down regulator. How should the pins be tied?Should VDDSMPS be tied to VDD and VSSSMPS to GND with VLXSMPS and VFBSMPS left open?OR - should they ALL be left open?Documentation only speaks as if they are to be used - no comments on what to do if not used.

We designed a custom made board based on NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q schematic. Specifically, we copied the USB-C connection part including the TCPP01-M12. The design is BUS powered. The devices are only recognized if connected via USB-A to USB-C adapters or if the CC1/CC2 pins are shortly shorted to GND while plugged in an USB-C connector, i.e. forcing an re enumeration.  In the Nucleo schematic capactors (C62 & C 63)are placed at CC1/CC2 between MCU and the TCPP01-M12: The TCPP01-M12 datasheets places them on the CC1c/CC2c pin, i.e. between USB connector and the TCPP01-M12:Furthermore it specifies:After rewiring the caps the boards are recognized more reliable but still some fail. So questions are:-is the TCPP01-M12 functionallity influenced by the placement of the capacitors at CCxc vs CCx?-what are potential reasons to fail negotiations while plugging in (i.e. only voltages at CCxc pins and VBUS is low - disconnected by host) but succeeding if CCxc is shorted shortly?&n

Hi, i encountered the problem on my stm32 G474RE board, that when i use the adc in dma mode i can not use a dac. The dac simply does not work. As long as i dont start the adc in dma mode, my dac is generating the right waveform, but when i start the adc the dac_setValue function is stuck and wont update? Has anybody encountered that problem? Am i doing something wrong?
