STM32 MCUs Products

I see STM32F413VHT6 is a1.5Mb device from the ordering information and the memory mapping in the datasheet. I follow the same procedure I followed to program the range 800 0000 to 810 0000 for the rest of the 0.5 Mb (810 0000 to 817 FFFF) also , but i see the device is not getting programmed. Is there any other way to program this region (810 0000 to 817 FFFF) . Does this follow any other procedure , please help with this.

Hello, I've been using the Nucleo-U385RG-Q for my project and all features work fine, but when I switch the code to a STM32U385VGT6Q, there is a problem when attempting to write to FLASH. My Write function starts with: if (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&flashErase, &error) != HAL_OK) { break; } and it precisely crashes at: FLASH_WaitForLastOperation in error = ((*reg_sr) & FLASH_FLAG_SR_ERRORS); with error code 128 (0x80). Searching for the error leads me to believe that the CPU is attempting to write protected/secure state areas but the Option Bytes says otherwise.I use Nima-LTD-I-CUBE-EE library.

Hi everyone,We’re currently developing an OBD reader using an STM32G473, which includes three FDCAN controllers. Each FDCAN interface is connected to a TCAN3413 transceiver.As part of our testing setup, we built an ECU simulator using an Arduino with an MCP2515 controller and a TJA1050 transceiver, and this simulator works perfectly.However, we’re facing a major issue when trying to send CAN requests from our STM32-based board to this ECU simulator. We’re not able to make the FDCAN controller operate in Classical CAN 2.0 mode and send messages correctly.We verified this by checking both the RX and CAN lines of the transceiver with an oscilloscope. The TX signal from the STM32 does not show the expected data pattern.That said, the transceiver itself is working correctly, when we send data from the Arduino node, the RX pin on the transceiver shows a clean, valid CAN signal. Hello, during my tests I have come across a strange issue. During the initializing phase, my application was hitting a WWDG reset (after ~400ms) constantly. This only happened after a couple resets (toggling the NRST pin LOW).  I have concluded during debugging, that when this repeated resetting of the WWDG state occured, it is because the program is hanging on the autogenerated (via STM32CubeIDE) init function:   HAL_UART_Init(&huart2)   Looking further, it actually finishes most of the function code but hangs on the last function:   return (UART_CheckIdleState(huart));   It specifically hangs when doing the below check:   if (UART_WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout(huart, USART_ISR_TEACK, RESET, tickstart, HAL_UART_TIMEOUT_VALUE) != HAL_OK

Hello I am forced to erase the entire flash page when I write into an address of the flash page. Why is that? Hi,I have this question because the reference manual states:“When flash high-cycle data area on Bank1 is enabled, the code memory map is not continuous from Bank1 to Bank2 on 2M- and 512K-byte devices.”So, does this mean that enabling high-cycle data sectors as EDATA on a 1MB device does not affect the code memory space, while on 2MB and 512KB devices, some sectors are reassigned for EDATA usage? If that’s the case, it seems like the 1MB device effectively has an extra 96KB of high-cycle data memory.Snaku

Hi all,I'm using an STM32U5G7VJT6Q on a custom design PCB. From the application, I jump to the USART (UART1) system bootloader. I then try to connect to the bootloader via STM32CubeProgrammerCLI. The jump to the bootloader appears to be correct and the bootloader is starting ( connect and properly read chipID) . Unfortunately, communication with the bootloader shows some errors. Hello, I'm trying to transfer a 4000 uint16_t buffer from SRAM4 to DTCM. This is working with a basic configuration of the MDMA module :  - Buf size = 32 - Block len = 4000 - No burst mode - in/out size = half word. The MDMA needs 135µs to transfer the whole buffer, and it looks quite slow. I'm questioning about the different way to improve the tranfer, using burst mode and/or packed mode. I have a custom board with an STM32U535RET6. This chip receives data from another processor using UART4 on pins PA0 and PA1. Once the data is received, it should be sent to another chip using USART3 on pins PC4 and PC5.If I transmit a fixed string directly, it works correctly. However, if I try to transmit the data received from UART4 (which is a message of about 70 bytes ending with "X"), it does not work.Additionally, HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback seems to freeze. I added a log inside the callback and I can see it print, but after a few executions, it stops running and no more bytes are received.I hope someone can help me, I can send more files if needed

Hello everyone,I'm facing a weird issue about Flash programming on a STM32g0b1 microcontroller on IAR Workbench for ARM. ContextI'm working on a bootloader project. I am able to lock, unlock, erase and program flash at the beginning of my program. Following a state machine, this is working well.  IssueWhen it comes to save a new bunch of data for the second time (I always program by block of 256 bytes so 32 double-words which is required by the library), it triggers a HardFault exception Remark 1If I go step by step in debug mode, I can program double-word by double-word without any exception. But if I run the program without going step by step (going over the function or without triggering any breakpoint), I automatically trigger the exception. Hello,I am working with an STM32U585I-IOT02A development board and using STM32CubeProgrammer.I changed the RDP level to DC and set a password. After that, I am unable to get back to RDP level AA.I tried entering the correct password, but the unlock option does not disable the protection.I also attempted the "unlock RDP1 level" process, but it does not seem to work.Currently, I am unable to flash any code onto the device.Is there any way to recover the board back to RDP AA level and make it programmable again?What is the correct procedure to unlock the RDP DC level after a password has been set?Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,I’m currently working with the STM32H533RET6 and I’m wondering whether an external crystal oscillator is required (or at least recommended) for reliable communication over RS485 and CAN.From my understanding, even at the highest baud rates, the internal clock (HSI) should be accurate enough for both interfaces, since the STM32’s internal oscillator is fairly precise and stable.So my questions are:Is the internal clock sufficient for high-speed RS485 and CAN communication?Under what conditions would it be better or necessary to use an external crystal (HSE)?Thanks in advance for any insights or practical experience!
