I am still new to STM and I am trying to perform a task on timer, I have written my code to configure the clock the my desired frequency and also I have written the code to set up my timer but when I downloaded the code to my board (stm32g070rb), my LED is supposed to blink for 3 seconds but it seems nothing is happening.

Hello,Using a STM32H743ZI - rev. V.I'm using ADC3 to convert 4 channels in regular conversion mode, with a 2.5Tcy sampling time, 10 bits, sync clock /2.The measured conversion time is quicker than expected so I'm suspecting something wrong...CPU clock is 400MHz, AXI/AHB clock is 100MHz.DMA transfers ADC results to AXI SRAM. I've fine tune my program for speed (gcc optimization for speed, release mode, interrupt routine relocated in ITCM with only the necessary code). TIM15 trigs the ADC, and also activate an output pin.The first thing I do in the DMA interrupt is to rise a GPIO pin. So, I can measure the total time : TRIG + sampling & conversion + DMA transfert time + IRQ latency + GPIO write.This measured time is 1100ns.The ADC clock is 100MHz divided by 2 (CKMODE=0b10) and by 2 (internal /2 in rev V version) so 25MHz <=> Tck=40ns.Trig time : 1.5~2.5TckSamp time : 4*2.5Tcy = 10TckConv

Hi What is the most efficient method in program logic to generate a sine wave using an H-bridge with an advanced timer?I am using TIM1 on an STM32 microcontroller, which has two channels (Channel 1 and Channel 2) and complementary outputs. For generating the sine wave, I am using the following configuration:Positive Half-Cycle: The MOSFETs Q1 and Q4 are driven with PWM signals, while Q2 and Q3 are turned off.Negative Half-Cycle: The MOSFETs Q2 and Q3 are driven with PWM signals, while Q1 and Q4 are turned off.I am also using center-aligned mode. What is the best and most efficient method in program logic to achieve this?I need programming logic on how to efficiently feed a sine wave to CCR1 and CCR2 via DMA to achieve this. Hello All,I needed a very fast vector addition routine for the H7 so I wrote it in assembly. However, I discovered that very small changes in the code caused huge differences in execution time. Both of the following functions add a 16-bit vector to a 32-bit sum vector. The vectors are 32-bit word aligned. The sum vector is in DTCM and the other is in external SRAM. The first routine adds sequential data to the sum and the second adds every fourth point of a 4x larger vector to the same size sum. So both process the same amount of data, but the first is 3 times faster. Hi,I am working with STM32g491re custom board. With UART communication our STM32 and other MCU communicating.After flashing the firmware with debugger both boards are communicating properly but once power off & on If other board sends the data stm32 is not responding at all. Again if I flash the firmware by connecting the debugger again both boards are communicating.UART communication I implemented interrupt communication.Can anyone suggest what will be the reason both are communicating only with debugger.Thanks

Hello,Since several weeks I had program loading issues using Lauterbach Trace32 debugger on a STM32H753.It came out it is due to the issue described here: https://community.st.com/t5/missing-articles/faq-stm32h7-sram-backup-sram-content-is-not-preserved-after/m-p/49291Basically one 16 bits instruction of my code does not "fill" a whole SRAM word (as explained in the FAQ) and so it is written in the RAM cache and not in the real RAM.When the debugger does a reset after the loading, this instruction is lost.I have several questions:- I feel that the issue should occur with any debugger and on any software. Hi guys,I want to do a dma with HAL library for a 1.3 inch st7798 driver display (uses stm32l476rg mcu)https://github.com/Floyd-Fish/ST7789-STM32I used the library in it works fine. but I want the screen to run faster (no scans should appear on the screen).I made some changes in the st7789 library:I set dma for spi2 from cube mxI changed the HAL_SPI_Transmit() functions to HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA() in the st7789.c file. Data was sent from dma, but there is a shift and color problem in the image on the screen. How can I solve this problem? thanks.

I am experiencing issues with the ADC and DMA configuration. Specifically, I am encountering unexpectedly high ADC conversion time despite following the standard configuration steps. Below are the details of my setup and the problem I am facing: Problem Description I am using DMA to transfer ADC conversion data with a timer-triggered setup. The expected conversion time based on my configuration is significantly lower than the observed conversion time. - AHB Clock Frequency to ADC: 4.604 MHz (HSE) - Clock Prescaler : 2 - Expected ADC Conversion Time: Approximately 23 µs               Tconv = (sampling time + conversion time)/ADC Clock               Tconv =  (36+17) / (4.604/2) = 23 µs (Approx) - Observed

I am asking a question of application rather than capabilities of MCU itself.I hope to build an handheld board that is powered by batteries and using this board update other board's settings, especially date/time configurations.This requires a parser and i hope i can find some JSON for MCU that will work fine. However, i hope to use this method with pogopins instead of dupont or similar to even more simplify this process.It is obvious that as addition to TX RX couple, GND pin should must be included for different power sources. I can start communication with a button on handheld board to simplify process. But during pin connection, it is obvious that some noise will be generated that ruins data transfer.I am not very familiar with UART itself, i just used it on modules. Is there any adequate method for this kind of updating progress? How can i ensure a stable communication randomly just whenever i touch pins? Or what should i use additionally to these RX

We have a new board that uses the STM32H747 MCU and is based on an existing, proven design.Despite being schematically identical, the MCU on the new board cannot be detected by the STLINK-V3SET programmer and STM32Cube software. For whatever reason, when connected it delivers 5V to the TVAPP pin and says "cannot find target MCU". The voltages, connections and passives are identical between the working reference design and our new design.The programmer works on the reference board before and after trying our new board.The programmer works on the reference board even with the TVAPP wire cut. (The MCU is powered by 3.1V supply and the TVAPP is connected to another part of the PMIC that delivers 3.3V to other peripherals.) Again, this works perfectly on the reference design board.

Hello, I am configuring a PWM Timer and I would like it to by triggered by ETR, the PWM is a 99 period, 50 duty cycles, with auto reload enable. I would like to have the PWM to be restarted (resync in a sort) at each etr rising pulse. ETR Pulse does not respect a proper frequency...is it possible ? if yes how to do it ? thanks Vincent

I followed this tutorial and I'm able to transmit UDP packets from my nucleo board to my computer. I've configured the code to use lwIP without freeRTOS. I'm trying to receive packets on my board over Ethernet by setting up a callback and it never enters the callback even though wireshark shows that packets are being sent. I'm also able to ping the ip address of the nucleo board and get a response. Why the uart stops working on stm32h755 device once the core clock has been modified and code has been generated using cubemx. Hello all, I have to develop an application with a 7 inch screen driver SSD1963,for the choice of cpu. I'm deciding between an STM32H7B3 and STM32F7xx, on the card I need RAM for screen storage,touchscreen management, communication with an FPGA in SPI and good fluidity when changing screens.
