Hi community, I am getting error in my stm32 microcontroller system which is used to communicate data of the sensor uart.  Initially everything is working fine the adc data is coming perfect. Able to send data through uart without any error. But after 1 to 2 hour of communication through uart rx, tx & enable pins are getting stuck to high. Not able to transmit data. At that very moment data through adc is been fetched & displayed by the controller as required only issue is the pins are not getting to low state after transmitting data. Please help & let us know if you have any particular solution or recommendation.

Hello,I'm currently preparing a program for steering a telescope at my University. Everything was working fine, until I started to have a problems with generating a specific frequency for one an axis. Generally, the problem is that I cannot set a specific counter period value in the code that would be updated. Surprisingly, everything works correctly in the same code fragment, when changing this value is inside the condition with the button (for speed corrections), but in the "else" condition, which is used to return the telescope to a given specific speed, for example 1065Hz, it no longer works. The change occurs only when I press the button or when I change the counter period value to a significantly different one, for example from 1000 to 500. Then I see on the oscilloscope that the frequency has doubled. When changing from 1000 to 900, nothing changes, it is still exactly 1000Hz. Hi,  I am using STM32F072RB-disco board to implement SPI communication with an external system. SPI MODE :Slave mode full duplex communication (for both SPI) From the external system I have to receive and transmit the 63 bytes of data with 2 SPI's (SPI1 & SPI2). The data is coming continuously i.e. every one millisecond . I need to receive the data's using SPI1 and SPI2 simultaneously. I have to implement simultaneous SPI(SPI1 & SPI2) should send and receive data's. for SPI1 & 2, I am facing the following issues  using HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA function I am not able to receive 63 bytes of data as expected (data alignment issues) and transmission  is not happening(not able to transmit data).  I also implemented the SPI transmit/receive DMA separate  function using the HAL library.(please refer to commented section in the below code)

Hi, I basically have two PWM signals going into two pin that are set to be TIM4_CH1 and TIM4_CH2.I setup both channels in slave mode and enabled the input capture mode on Rising mode.When I enable only channel 1 and the code below get executed I retrieve the correct CCR1 values and consecutively I calculate the correct duty cycle.Problem: When I enable both channels I get the same CCR1 and CCR2 value, all the time, so the duty cycle is always 100% Input capture mode on "Both_Edges" mode work strangely because instead of getting the rising and falling edge captures consecutively I get them randomly: sometimes I just get the falling, sometimes only the rising and most of the time random pattern ( ex. rising, rising, falling, rising). Hello, I am working on CAN communication which is between various STM32G474 controllers. As the product is power electronics, we are facing noise issue which disturb the CAN communication and hence product is not working properly.  We are thinking to add fiber optic in between all CAN communication. Means CAN to fiber optic at one end and fiber optic to CAN at other end. we also need optical splitter to share the fiber optic between various controllers of the system. If any have done this before then please let us know how to proceed ahead. Thanks, Nikhil 

hi I'm using NUCLEOG4 series controller. configuring TIM1 in both normal and complimentary PWM. PWM is generating, no problem in that. but i want 24 micro seconds of dead time between top and bottom pwm. but i can able to achieve maximum of 6 micro seconds only. As per the datasheet and calculation, dead time insertion value for 24 micro seconds is 244, but output dead time is maximum 6 micro seconds. can anyone suggest how to achieve 24 us deadtime in nucleog4 and I'm running at 170MHZ.

My question might be dumb, but I just received my STM32H747I-DISCO chip and plugged it to my computer and I would like to know what to do next in order to use it, what could be a starting guide (how to launch a code on it, how to use a model on it). Hello, I am wondering why the led (LD10) stays red on the board after plugging in a micro USB cable to power it on (thus I assume that's the reason the screen stays black).The USB cable is connected to the board (CN2 ST-LINK V3 port) and to a laptop on the other end. The JP6 jumper is on STIk on the back. See the attached pictures for details. Is there anything I did wrong ? Or should I launch something else to make the LED green?

The library works mostly correctly but due to unfortunate timing of downloading file through IDE flash is not properly initialized effectively making one of the sectors invalid to use. I need to place the application code at address 0x08100200. I'm having a strange issue here. I have a custom board design using the STM32L452RETx.I have 17 boards in front of me, and most of them work as expected: bootloader runs at power up, and when it times-out, it jumps to the main app ( at 0x08008000). Perfect.However, 4 of theses boards don't correctly make the jump. Everything seems to run as expected stepping through the code, but then when the time for the jump comes, they will jump to some address like 0x40010400.All the boards are running the same boot loader code. One thing is that I think that some (maybe all) of the that aren't working correctly might have been programmed with from CubeIDE, were as the others were programmed using the .bin file with STM32 Programmer.... but, I'm not totally sure if that is a perfect 1-1 relationshipI have gone back and reprogrammed some of those failing ones with STM32 Programmer app, not the IDE, and it didn't resolve the issues.Any ide

Hi Community,I am getting started with STM32 chips and I recently acquired the 32F072BDISCOVERY dev kit (https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/32f072bdiscovery.html#overview). I downloaded the STM32CubeIDE and have been able to write,compile, and program simple code to blink one of the LEDs in the board. I was wondering how to set up a com port to serially print data? When I plug in the board to my computer through either of the USB ports (USB USER or USB ST-LINK), I do not see a COM port come up in my device manager, I am assuming it is because I have to set it up. If anyone has any guidance on how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it!  Best regards,Kevin
