STM32 MPUs Software development tools

Hi,I'm trying to get ADC working on ST32MP257F-DK board. There is no example in ST's sw-package and the example for ST32MP257F-EV1 board fails in HAL_ADC_Init -function giving error messages:stm32_serc_handle_ilac:134 SERC exceptions [63:32]: 0x8000000stm32_serc_handle_ilac:140 SERC exception ID: 59Can somebody help, what is the difference between these boards with ADC? (And why there is no ADC example for ST32MP257F-DK?)     

Can someone suggest me a best gui application as i am using stm32mp157d-dk1

I am trying to get the TTY echo example running on my discovery kit. Everything seems to go fine until I get to the point of starting the debugger. When I click the debug button nothing happens. I am running the IDE in Windows 10 if that matters. I am a hardware guy and I don't have a Linux box to use. More info: When I do the build it finishes with 0 errors and warnings but does say that the build might be incomplete.

I'm having a persistent /!\-icon sticking to my project icon. It's annoying. How can I get rid of this? I cannot see another such icon attached to any object in the project tree branches, if I didn't overlook any.The project builds without any errors.

Hi ThereSome help please! I am using STM32CubeIDE to create and manage a Linux build for the STM32MPU257. I have so far got everything building and working. I used the Import Linux project function in the IDE to point towards all the correct source locations that i set up using the Developer Package method. My question is that when i go into 'build artifacts' and kick off a build, its takes soooooooo long! I have tried to update the make files to run -j12 to parallel up the make in Yocto but I cant seem to do this. if i build the Distribution package i can modify the .conf file to enable this. But when using the IDE to start the builds in the Development Package, i cant see a way to do this. Could you offer some help as to enabling the parallel make features when building this way??? Thanks

Hi,I'm trying to import an ioc file for STM32MP257f-ev1. The original project was build on CubeMx 6.13 for MAC-OS using FW_MP2_V1.0.0 and I'm using CubeMx 6.13 under linux. When I open the .ioc file, It asked me if I want to migrate to FW_MP2_V1.1.0 or continue with the current version. Hi all,STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0I'm debugging the content of a memory area showing the bytes sequence of an uint8_t array.The pointer shown in the Variables pane is correct.If I point the same variable (tmpParameters_Buffer) on Memory pane, the address (and of course, the content) is wrong - see the attached image.Any idea?Thanks, regards

Hi there,I'm working on a STM32MP135 project.I'd like to see some information on the Build Analyzer and/or Static stack analyzer but they always report the grids empty.The project is compiled with the -fstack-usage and debualt Debug level (-g).I checked that for each source files of the project are generated the .cyclo, .su, .d and .o files in the Debug directory.The analyzers windows do not have a button to associate the project: but it seems not to be a problem with the latest relases.So, why I cannot browse the analyzers data? Version: 1.19.0Build: 25607_20250703_0907 (UTC) Thanks, regards

Hi,I’m working with an STM32MP157D-DK1 board and attempting to connect to it using STM32CubeProgrammer. The board is powered properly (measured voltage: 3.23V) and ST-LINK is recognized by the software.However, the debugger is unable to detect the Cortex-M4 core. I suspect the issue is that Linux is still holding the M4 core in reset, preventing the debug probe from halting or accessing it.Does that sound like a reasonable cause? If so, could you please advise on the correct steps to release the M4 from reset and enable debugging access?For context, I’ve already tried multiple combinations of ST-LINK connection settings (mode, reset mode, frequency), but none were successful.Thank you for your help! 

My goal is to create a SSP payload and write it to the OTP of the STM32MP257F chip. The OS running on my KIT is based on OpenSTLinux.To get the SSP Payload, a Secret file is required. I just need secure boot.I refer to the following sources:How to perform Secure Boot from Distribution Package How to deploy SSP using a step-by-step approachWhat is the meaning of Enc/Wrap when create a secret package?How to select format type and KeySize in STM32 Trusted Package Creator?The contents of my Secret file will include the components as shown below. I read the AN5510 at section 5.1 RMA Pasword(s). I am working on STM32MP257F so the RMA pasword is 128-bit as describe in the table 5.The AN5510 also mentions that "The RMA password(s) are chosen by OEM". I understand that I need to generate a 128 bit binary file as RMA Password. So I use the following Command to generate RMA Password.STM32_KeyGen_CLI -rand 16 stm32mp_rma_password.binIs this the correct way to generate RMA Password? 

Hi,When I create a project from CubeMX for STM32MP235 and configure some peripherals, in generated device trees those peripherals contains pin control for default/active state only. No pin configuration for sleep mode is generated. Where as for STM32MP257 CubeMX generates "xxx_sleep_pins_mx" too.What is that I am missing?

Hi Sir,     I am working with the STM32CubeProgrammer to fully upgrade my STM32MP157 MPU system, but I would like to ask how to partially upgrade the system?     For example, the BOOT paritition and the ROOTFS partition has not been changed very frequently, all the focus will be on the changes happen in the USERFS paritition.     So with the STM32CubeProgrammer, how can I just upgrade the USERFS partition? Or how can I upgrade the partition I want instead of doing the full upgrade?
