Hello, I am working on getting the Developer Package for the STM32MP257F-EV1 board up and running. I am confused on the step where tells us to do the following command:[ "${ARCH}" = "arm" ] && imgtarget="uImage" || imgtarget="Image.gz"export IMAGE_KERNEL=${imgtarget}Followed bymake ${IMAGE_KERNEL} vmlinux dtbs LOADADDR=0xC2000040 O="${OUTPUT_BUILD_DIR}"I am assuming that for ARCH I should be writing arch64 which is proved by the fact that when I try to run that I am getting an error for the first Image target, But I keep getting the error *** No rule to make target 'uImage' or whatever I put for the Image, I have tried a variety of Image names that I found in some of the files like: Image, uImage, zImage, Image.gz, and bzImage. The only one that will not get this error is bzImage, which will end up getting errors with the files later about undeclared variables and it seems that it is making it for x86 architecture. Using the latest CubeMX 6.9.0 on Ubuntu  23.04  The following has happened quite a few times in the past years , also on  previous Linux and CubeMX versions. Now would like to raise this  issue as it's becoming very annoying now doing more work in CubeMX. There are now more situations where the keyboard just does not respond anymore. The mouse does.1. When creating a new project and entering an partnumber, the dialog box  sometimes get stuck. Mostly after entering a partnumber that does not exists.  You can continue by  selecting from the drop down list and then creating the project,  but when trying to save you are out of luck, you cannot enter a filename so you have to start all over again. a lot of wasted time.2. When entering a pin number in the dialog box. sometimes this text box get stuck. Luckily you can save the project, but need to close CubeMX and restart it gain. Hello, I am trying to implement a Hi-Speed USB Device on STM32 baremetal project for STM32MP131Axx by using STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0. I am using the internal DMA of USB OTG to get faster the bulk transfer. I have 2 questions since I would like to know the suitable FIFO size when using the internal DMA. Q1I found the following comment in HAL_PCDEx_SetTxFiFo() function in stm32mp13xx_hal_pcd_ex.c.When DMA is used 3n * FIFO locations should be reserved for internal DMA registers I am using the endpoint 1 as bulkout that the max packet size is 512 bytes. Hello, I am trying to install the SDK to work on the STM32MPU257F-EV1 Development board and I followed the instructions for the x86_64 Architecture, however when I use the command echo $ARCH it says the architecture is arm64? Is that what should be displaying? I feel like it should be x86_64 right? Thanks! Carson

HI there STM team! I want to build a embedded linux image where I can load my QT application. Cubeide 1.13 and CubeMX 6.9 can generate the valid code for stm32mp157,but Cubeide 1.14 and CubeMX 6.10 can not! is there a bug or the CubeMX 6.10 have some change for stm32mp157?. I'm on Linux debugging STM32MP1, latest version of everything installed. I used to be able to debug in "production mode" but now I got:"The serial device 'MPU Serial (/dev/ttyUSB0)' is not available."if I start debug"The selected serial device 'MPU Serial (/dev/ttyUSB0)' is not available anymore, please update the Debug configuration."However, I'm able to open the /dev/ttyUSB0 with other terminal softtware, the "/dev/ttyUSB0" appears as an option on debug options, also, the status on bottom right is green.How to fix this?

While creating scripts to build the kernel preparing for the DK2, found that it creates vmLinux and Image (not uImage) even though ST's kernel build readme stated to build uImage . Hello all, I am following the Getting Started guide for the STM32MP257F-EV1 and the current step I am on is (Getting Started -> STM32MP2 boards -> Develop on Arm Cortex-A35 -> Modify, rebuild, and reload the Linux kernel). Specifically I am in step 4 where it says to build the kernel images and device trees. So far I downloaded and installed STM32Cube programmer and I can open the application. Now, I'm trying to install the "STM32Bootloader.bat" but it doesn't do anything. I can't see the device appearing on the device manager even tough the board is connectedWhen I was downloading the file from ST page, it doesn't allowed me to download 64 bit file, only the 32bit. As far as I understand Windows 11 is only 64 bit. Maybe that's part of the problem? Thanks a lot in advance

Hello, I am trying to work on the STM32MP257F-EV1 development board and am running into an interesting issue. Whenever I have both the USB (For booting) and the ST-Link (For power and using minicom) plugged in at the same time booting the image to the board doesn't work, it will boot up to partition 0x03 and then reconnect and start over until I force cancel it. Is there anything I can do in order to allow both of those to be plugged in at the same time? Thanks,Carson

Hello,  I am currently working on bringing up a STM32MP257F-EV1 Development board and I am having troubles. I am working on getting the STM32MPU-Ecosystem-v5.1.0 working so that I can start working on the board with Cube Programmer but all the online resources on how to get that installed are done through Linux and I am operating off windows. Is there anywhere where I can just do 1 install like for the starter-package? Or if not is there anywhere where there are Windows instructions? Hello, I have made a lot of posts over the last few days while trying to bring up an ST development board trying to fix the issue, and I think I finally figured out what's wrong. I am following two guides being these sources: STM32MP25 Evaluation boards - Starter Package - stm32mpu and Populate the target and boot the image - stm32mpu. I am using a windows computer, and I now see that it is because I don't have VMWare, and upon going to your link in the PC prerequisites tab it leads to a download page in which hasn't been working for a while it seems, I am wondering if anyone knows any alternate download spots, I can go in order to get the required software. Hello,  I am trying to populate the EMMC on the STM32MP257F-EV1 development board using a USB connection and I am running into a strange issue. I am trying to download the file from this wiki: Populate the target and boot the image - stm32mpu and specifically trying to download "FlashLayout_emmc_stm32mp257f-ev1-ca35tdcid-ostl-m33-examples-optee.tsv". When I do this everything seems fine at first. But it looks like the download may be in an infinite loop. Hello, I am trying to boot an EMMC with a USB on a STM32MP257F-EV1 Development board and am having troubles. I set the boot pins to what is said in the data sheet for EMMC (That being Boot2 is set to 1 and the rest 0) The USB is no longer an option to connect to. (For reference I am trying to follow this wiki article: Populate the target and boot the image - stm32mpu but only using the EMMC instead of the SD Card). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
