Hi, I'm currently working with a discovery board SPC58EC-DISP and I´m using a SPC5-UDESTK for debug, my issue is the next: The first 2 - 3 days the UDE STK 5.2 works properly, I can connect to the board without problem,  but after those days I am not able to connect with the board, it shows the next message   I delete and installed again the UDE STK 5.2 and I was able to connect to the board again but after few days Im facing the same issue, I have two laptops and in both Im facing the same issue, also the power supply and all the configuration is the same when it connects to the board and when it doesn´t connects, I read in some forums that it could be a power supply issue but definitely this is not the case because nothing changes when it works and when not..  also Im not the only one with this issue: https://community.st.com/t5/microcontrollers/problems-with-ude-visual-platform/td-p/468544https://co

Hi ST team,I'm working with the SPC58NH microcontroller in bare-metal mode and noticed that SPC5Studio only allows interrupt routing to Core0 and Core2 — Core1 is not listed as a target in the interrupt configuration interface.To test serial communication, I implemented asynchronous mode using DMA with LINFlex on all three cores. It worked perfectly on Core0 and Core2. However, when I try to run the same setup on Core1, the system hangs as soon as data arrives via serial. The LED loop running on Core1 stops, which suggests that an interrupt is being triggered but not properly handled.To work around the lack of Core1 selection in SPC5Studio, I manually modified the lldconf.h file with the following define:#define SPC5_SERIAL_LINFLEX5_DMA_IRQ_PRIO INTC_PSR_ENABLE(INTC_PSR_CORE1, 62) Core1 is active and executing code correctly (e.g., blinking LEDs), but serial reception causes it to freeze. Hi everyone  I’m stuck and would really appreciate guidance.What I have,Discovery board: SPC563M-DISP (the MCU on this board needs the L9945_GUIV1.0 ELF flashed).EVK: EVAL-L9945 (L9945 MOSFET-driver evaluation board)  the L9945 evaluation package & GUI expect the discovery board MCU to be flashed with an ELF to run the demoQuestions.1. How many/debugger types does SPC5 Studio support out of the box? Is PLS UDE the only officially supported debugger/plugin?2. I have a PE MICRO Multilink  Can I use this to flash the SPC563M? If yes  what is the exact procedure (drivers, connection pins, which file formats are accepted: ELF / SREC / HEX)? 3. If using UART/FLEXCAN flashing (serial boot), what exact steps  do you recommend? Hello everyone,I am working with an SPC58NH92C5RMI0X microcontroller using SPC5Studio v6.0 and the corresponding GCC toolchain.Objective: I am trying to implement a persistent variable that survives warm resets (debugger or pin resets) but is initialized in a controlled manner on a cold boot (power-on). To achieve this, I have created a custom .noinit section in memory.Symptoms: The system's behavior is inconsistent and depends on the boot type:Under the Debugger (Warm Resets): The system works perfectly. I can write a value to my persistent variable, perform a reset via the debugger, and the correct value is read in the next session.On Power-On (Cold Boot): The system behaves erratically. Sometimes it boots correctly, but most of the time it halts/crashes.Point of Failure: When the system halts, the crash occurs precisely at the instruction that attempts to read the persisted variable for the first time in my main() function.Implementation:To isolate the variable from the standard RAM

Hi,Im new to SPC582 my issue is I need to enable ICU at eMIOS0 Channel 22 , I have enabled the pin in the pin map editor and in the GUI there is channel enabling option for only CH 0 to CH 7 as SAIC but I want it for CH 22, Is there any way to enable the CH 22 as SAIC which comes under Group 2. And also if any examples is available that would be great. Dear,I am trying to setup a channel of the EMIOS into DAOC mode. I walked through an example of using PWM, but I am confused on why in the EMIOS setup i can only set the channels to SAIC (ICU) or OPWFMB (PWM). I tried to manually set the MODE bitfields of emios according to the reference manual by: emiosdp->emiosp->CH[channel].C.B.MODE = 0x01; but any ingeration like that crashes the debugging. I am aiming to setup 36 channels of the EMIOS to SAIC and 7 channels to DAOC for my functionality. Can You please guide me on how to achieve that? Kind regards,TurboMonkey

 Hello,I am trying to program the SPC563M64 microcontroller using the UDESTK programmer and UDE software.Unfortunately, the JTAG interface cannot establish a connection with the MCU and I keep getting errors.What I have tried so far:Carefully checked all JTAG connections (TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS, TRST, and RESET).Verified voltage levels on the board and programmer using a voltmeter and logic analyzer; signals look correct.Tested the crystal oscillator with both 8MHz and 16MHz crystals to rule out clock issues.Set the boot mode pins according to the datasheet.Double-checked power and ground wiring; no issues found.Current Problem:Despite all these checks, the JTAG connection still fails and UDE gives errors such as “cannot identify device,” “flash not accessible,” or sometimes “CHK Fatal Error.”If anyone has had a similar experience or can suggest a solution, I would really appreciate your help.Thank you!

I'm trying to download SR6G7 elf code into internal Flash. So far this MCU seems to be not directly supported from the StellarStudio (?).Is there a way of programming my board using StellarLink from the command line? I found a working solution for other chip (like SR5E1):C:\StellarStudio-2.0\openocd\bin\openocd.exe -d0 -s C:\StellarStudio-2.0\openocd\scripts -f board\sr5e1_evbe7000p.cfg -c "program blinkled_portE13.elf reset exit"However, there are missing SR6G7 configuration files in the latest StellarStudio_rev4.1 and StellarLink releases. The one defining target board I could prepare myself, yet the other describing SR6G7 chip and FLASH_ERASE algorithms are not available.Can someone worked already with that chip and could share the proper config files (chip and algo)?

Hello, I am interested in the Stellar E and P series for the purpose of motor control, with an inverter topology that has 12 independent switches and requires fine control of the offset between some of the waveforms.1) The E series is marketed as optimized for traction inverters. Is there anything it can do in power converter applications that the P series cannot do? Does E series do something better or more easily, or just cheaper?2) Is there any difference between the HR timer peripherals of the E and P series, except that E has 2 x 6 channels and P has 2 x 8?3) How does the GTM4 of the P series compare to the advanced control timer of the E series? I've got the CAN Test app loaded and working as it should. I'm trying to get it to transmit out instead of loopback. I've already uncheck the option for loopback and simplified the code to only transmit. However, I don't see any activity on the CAN pins of the board. I've tried moving the jumpers from CAN0 to CAN1 and I've tried looking at the signal before the transceiver but still nothing. My code is attached below.
