I'm hoping to use the STUSB4700 in a product design.  The product needs to be supplied by normally by a tablet (only 5V @ 100mA required).  Sometimes the product will have external power available and when it does, I want to source power to the tablet.  Understanding the STUSB4700 is not a dual role, can I simply draw from Vbus for the sink scenario and then when external power is available, the STUSB4700 jumps into action and negotiates sourcing?Ref page 21 application example of datasheet.

The Lis2du12 chip is malfunctioning, and the ODR of the CTRL5 register can only be written to 0x4 and 0x8. When writing to 0xa and then reading, it is 0x8, and the register status is always 0x02, and the power down bit is always 1, indicating no operation，please help me 

Hello,I am using BlueNRG-M0A and have a successful implementation working. However, I have a scenario that I'm unsure how to properly program.If I am currently paired to a Bluetooth device (i.e. a phone). The Bluetooth app crashes or the phone goes out of range. Therefore, it never sends a "disconnect" command. My firmware does not recognize that and continues sending data, which causes it to get "stuck" and repeatedly tries to send the data until it times out.  I want to recognize this in a more timely manner, have the firmware "disconnect" from that device that's gone and bring itself back so it is discoverable. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do so?

Hello everyone,I'm trying to write a driver for the ILI9341 display (8 bit parallel mode, not SPI) using the ST HAL. I couldn't get the libraries I found online working, I imagine for the same reason I can't get mine to work. Obviously I have double checked my wiring.I took an existing Arduino library, stripped a bunch of code away and verified it worked on an Arduino. Then I changed the Arduino specific calls (pinMode, digitalWrite, digitalRead and delay) and converted them into ST HAL equivalent.The code I attached is supposed to print the display ID (I have removed the auto-generated comments). On Arduino it prints `0x9341` (which is correct), instead the ST version prints `0x1a1a1a1a`.I'm using a Nucleo 64 STM32L053R8T6 board and STM32CubeIDE. According to the characteristic/features section in this BlueSTSDK documentation page, characteristic data has a 2-byte timestamp. What are the units of this timestamp? In other words, what does each tick in the timestamp represent? The timestamp goes from 0 to 2^16 - 1, then resets. In the data I have collected, the timestamp appears to reset every 2 seconds. This would imply one tick is 2 s / 2^16 ≈ 3.052e-5 s. However, I want to verify exactly what the reset period is. For maybe, e.g., the data is actually resetting every 2.048 s = 2^11 ms, implying one tick is 2^11 ms / 2^16 = 3.125e-5 s.

It looks like BlueNRG-MS doesn't remember that BLE client asked it to change CCCD from 0 (default value) to 1 (subscribe to value change notifications) upon BLE server reboot. Dear SupporterWe make a design using the "VL53L1X" for people counting applications.To test it, we placed it above the entrance of a room (as in the YouTube link "People Counting Using a Single ST Time-of-Flight Sensor" posted by ST Microelectronics). It works well, but it gives a miss count. When we tested it regularly and we noticed it didn't count the person wearing dark clothes especially black and dark blue, and the sensor took it into account if the same person was wearing a small white cloth on his head.Our suspicion is that this sensor is not working in black color. How to fix this problem and are there any other way?RegardsNarayanan P

Hello Everyone,I have issues communicating with my new Nucleo-G431RB using usb driver STSW-LINK009 in win10.  Here is what I found.  After plugging in the use cable to my laptop, I saw an "unknow USB device (Device description request failed)" showed up in the device manager and with an exclamation mark !.  Nothing worked after that.  The driver seemed to be installed correctly, because an "USB Mass Storage Device" showed up when I plugged in Nucleo-F103RB board and communication was working normally.   Is it because the different between ST-Link/V2-1 vs. STLINK-V3 the G431RB had?  It seemed STSW-LINK009 driver worked fine with ST-Link/V2-1 but not STLINK-V3. Is there another driver for STLINK-V3S.  It  appeared the same way on all 3 of my computers with win10. How do I remedy this issue?  Thanks Everyone!

Hello,I have configured the BLE Beacon V1.0 sensor with the Nano Beacon software, I can detect it with applications like nrf Connect or ST BLE Toolbox. I'm starting a project with BLUENRG-LP and I used WiSE Studio to map the pins and generate the initial project. On my board, I have an LED connected to a GPIO pin I would like to blink, so I added to the while loop:HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, LL_GPIO_PIN_11);HAL_Delay(1000);The problem I'm having is that I'm not able to build the project because the HAL functions are not recognized:undefined reference to `HAL_GPIO_TogglePin'undefined reference to `HAL_Delay'I wrote #include "rf_driver_hal.h" at the beginning of the file and included the file "rf_device_hal_conf.h" in the project (which I took from the SDK HAL example), but the error persists.I'm more used to CubeMX and I don't know exactly what the problem is here. Is there any reason why it's not working? Is there any other strategy I can use to map pins and program my board?

Hi all I am using the STW81300 for a project and the Pout level makes sense for 8-16GHz port.  When I set the frequency to 2.4GHz, I am getting only -15dBm or so, while the second and third harmonic of this at 4.8GHz and 7.2GHz are 8dB higher in power. is this normal? in the PLL's block diagram I see the 2.4GHz is coming out of a divider but I expected the power level to be higher than that. When I set the frequency to 5GHz (just to push the second and third harmonic away from 8GHz RFOUT port) I am getting about 3dBm of RF power. Have you seen similar behavior? is this normal, is it possible to fix the power in setting, I can't figure this out. (I have one LO driver and Filter, I could add another amplifier if there is no fix in setting). Thanks Mohsen

Hi. From DS of TS555 I'm not clear about RESET acitve low level. In DS VRESET is given 0.4V(min), 1.1V(typ), 1.5V(max) for +25°C and 0.3V...2.0V for whole temp range, see attachementCan someone help to get min/typ/max level for RESET is active and the level RESET is inactive at +5V supply and -25°C....+85°C.Thx Tom

Marking 1: SPSGRF-915 (Full Marking and the label shows the Full MPN SPSGRF-915)       Marking 2: SPSGRF (Without “-915”, but the label shows the Full MPN SPSGRF-915)   What is the different？We want to verify that Marking 1 and Marking 2 have the same functionality？ Also, what mean for this different markings? Hi Team,I am using X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 along with STM32L476RG board in network processor mode. When I bought the new board (X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1). The LED(D1) on the board flashing and it worked properly. Once I manually flashed the code  of BLUENRG-M2SP_DTM_SPI.hex. Board stopped working. I removed jumper J15 after flashing. May I know the reason for this for the board (X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1) stopped working.?Regards,Vignesh M

I am trying to maximize throughput from a BlueNRG-2 chip to an android phone.The example code I have just spits out messages from the device to the phone as quickly as possible. Payload sizes up to 200 bytes (207 byte framesize) works OK, as seen below. The phone keeps receiving until about 2ms is left in the 15ms connection interval. The device begins transmitting immediately in the new interval after the phone transmits the delayed empty PDU frame. The behavior changes if I add another byte to the payload, to a total of 208 bytes in the payload frame. The phone ends the interval and waits 1947us before sending an Empty PDU, but the device does not begin transmitting any new frames in the new interval. The device only starts transmitting after a delay of 15ms and another Empty PDU frame being transmitted from the phone to the device.This behavior repeats, and therefore reduced the bandwidth heavily instead of increasing it when I move from 200 to 201 payload bytes.
