Hello everyone, I am working on a design based on the STM32H7 MCU and I am evaluating storage options.I came across the Micron MTFC128GBCAYAL-AIT device, which is described as a USF NAND / eMMC memory. I would like to know:   1, Can MTFC128GBCAYAL-AIT be directly interfaced with an STM32H7 MCU? 2, Does STM32H7 support this device via SDMMC, FMC, or any other peripheral? 3, If direct interfacing is not possible, what is the recommended alternative (raw NAND, SD card, QSPI/OctoSPI flash, etc.)?   My goal is to use soldered non-volatile storage (similar to eMMC) for data storage or filesystem purposes. Any clarification, reference manuals, or practical experience would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,I am implementing a USB Audio Class 1.0 microphone on an STM32 (Full-Speed only).The device enumerates correctly on Windows and appears as a 4-channel microphone in the Sound Control Panel, but no WASAPI-based application can open the input stream.When using Audacity with WASAPI, the device exposes only 1–2 input channels and recording cannot be started.For USB Audio Class 1.0 Full-Speed microphones on Windows, I have the following questions:Are Sampling Frequency Control requests (GET_CUR / SET_CUR) required even if the device supports only a fixed sample rate of 48 kHz?Is the presence of a Master Feature Unit (Volume and/or Mute control) required for Windows/WASAPI to successfully open the audio stream?Are there any mandatory class-specific control requests that must be implemented (i.e. must not be STALLed) to avoid WASAPI stream open failures?Setup:STM32 USB Device (FS)UAC 1.0, Isochronous IN (microphone)PCM, 48 kHz, 16 bit, 4 channelsIso IN Endpoint: AdaptiveWindows 11

Hello Team,We want to have Standalone Programmer based on ST`s Existing Flash Module Like St-Link V2, V3 Or Mini PCB tools.I should be able to Use External ST MCU to Command this SWD module for Flashing n all task , like CubeProgrammer.Basic Interface like Pushbutton to Start the Flash and Some LED to showcase any Error.   We would not prefer expensive available off-the-Shelf Programmer like Segger..... seriously i just want to design my product around an mp2. literally any. i cant pick one because none of them are in stock.im clicking every single mp2 variant that exists. then im picking the sub variant, and then the package. like 3 trees deep. not a single one ive found so far is in stock. these have been out for like years now. how am i supposed to use this chip in my product if it's availability is near non existent?really bad look for st here. 

Hello,A custom control board using an STM32G0C1 stopped working after some time.  Upon plugging into the board and stepping through the program using the CubeProgramer, it was discovered that the PC was cycling through the same addresses repeatedly and getting hung up.  These memory addresses were traced back to various HAL delay functions using addr2line.  Normal operation involves the board initializing and executing various state machines in a superloop (no RTOS), not getting stuck in a "boot loop" delay.  The entire flash memory was dumped to a .bin file and then an attempt was made to erase the flash using the CubeProgrammer with no luck and an error thrown.  No fuse bits or any kind of erasure protection was enabled during the programming of this board.  Then the CubeIDE was used to compile some code and start a debug session.  Somehow, the CubeIDE had no issue loading a program into flash.  This is where it gets interesting.&nbsp

Hello,I'm developing the software to exchange secure data between a remote host (Linux-OS computer) and a electronic board based on STM32U5 MCU and STSAFE-A110 secure chip. I already implemented the board authentication and I chose to use the symmetric key encryption that the two hosts securely exchange data. For that the two hosts computes each on their own the shared secret after sharing their own public key. That's works fine!But I don't know what functions of stsafe library to use to encrypt and decrypt data using the computed secret key board-side.Could you please help me?Best regards,Alex

Hello, I have been working on a project attempting to get Lua 5.5, Freertos running on a STM32h723.I used cubeMX to generate my project with Freertos enabled.I brought in Lua 5.5 library from their website https://www.lua.org/download.htmlI was able to get it compiling and my project as a whole builds and flashes without errors.Now the part that I'm struggling with. If for any reason Lua has a error the STM32 goes into hard fault and most of the time it seems to be a BusFault caused by IMPRECISERR.I'm trying to figure out if getting Lua to work on the Cortex-m7 is more involved than just adding the library. Dear ST Community,We are currently working on the STM32H747 controller using the MIPI DSI interface in video mode.In our setup, we are using the SN65DSI83TPAPRQ1 bridge to convert MIPI DSI signals into LVDS signals for our display panel.The MIPI configuration and bridge configuration details are attached below.After configuring the CSR registers on the bridge side, we are reading Register 0x0A and Register 0xE5 for status verification, as specified in the SN65DSI83TPAPRQ1 datasheet initialization sequence.We have also enabled the test pattern, and the display turns ON (screenshot attached below).Observations:For Register 0x0A, bit 7  is not reading as 1For Register 0xE5, the expected value is 0x00, but it is reading as 0x01We are observing clock signals at the bridge outputHowever, no data signals are present on the LVDS sideQueries:What could be the reason for bit 7 not being set in Register 0x0A?What does Register 0xE5 reading 0x01 instead of 0x00 indicate?Does this behaviour su

I am not able to view stm32N6 PSRAM @ 0x90000000 with IAR Memory view, it only shows --. And after I tried to access 0x90000000, the debugger seemed to hang up.I tried with STM32N6570-DK XPI_PSRAM_MemoryMapped project. I set a breakpoint at line 197 -- if (errorBuffer == 0) after it read/wrote PSRAM successfully. When it stopped at the breakpoint, I opened the memory view to check memory @0x90000000. It failed.If I did the similar with stm32CubeIDE, it worked fine.  Any idea why the IAR was not working?

I’m using a NUCLEO-H533RE and CLion as my development environment. Configuring and building my STM32 project works fine, but I haven’t been able to get debugging to work. I receive the following error:Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: Unknown. Please check power and cabling to target.Using STM3CubeProgrammer I can connect with the board and did the full chip erase.The attached images show the current settings.Does anyone have any idea?

Hi, im doing a line follower and using the mcu stm32 f411, its a small development board arduino nano style, and i conected it to the motor driver tb6612fng, and it seems to have backfeed motor suply voltage on the logic pins and it burned my mcu.My question is how to prevent this?

Hi,I have STM32H755ZIT3 controller, and I am tying to read voltage sensor AMC1333M10 and sensor has internal clock of 10 MHz . I am trying to read on controller DFSDM channel 7, core M4 with clock 64 MHz . Problem:    nRST appears to leave the STM32U5 inoperative when applied at any time other than followingapplication of power. Serial traffic is expected through UART4 following a reset. I have built a project with CubeMX where:Timer1 -> DMA -> FMC -> DAC904Short sine buffer in RAM-D1 and DMA as circular bufferIt works but I am getting maximum speed of 12.6 MSps.I have tried to modify the timer frequency but I am getting a limit at that speed Is there a way to make if faster?Thank you Benny

Our goal is to establish MQTT communication with AWS IoT Core by sending AT commands from the MCU to the modem.Working Standalone Test:Before integrating with the STM32 MCU, we tested the SIM7022 module using a USB-to-TTL converter connected to a PC terminal. HiHere is my scenario:I want to use USB Type C Connector for Power Delivery(upto 65W) and also, for communicating with STM32F767ZIT6 on my Hardware.Power Delivery is used to charge a 14.4V Li Ion Battery using Battery charger on my hardware. So, And USB Communication takes place with STM32F767ZIT6 Full Speed. Charging and Communication don't need to happen at the same time.So, USB-C Connector will either be used to charge the battery using a AC-DC wall adapter or communicate with STM32 on my hardware using a USB-C Cable from PC. Only one of these things will happen at a time. I was thinking of using STUSB4500 for Power Delivery such that it negotiates 20V, 3.25A with Wall Adapter but it looks like VBUS Sensing PA9 would be a problem when PC is connected(VBUS= 5V) or wall adapter is connected(VBUS= 20V).So, wondering if there are better/easier options to do this? Changing the STM32F767ZIT6 to something like STM32 UCPD MCUs is unfortunately not an option. 

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a project using an STM32 Nucleo L476RG and a Velleman VMA302 Bluetooth module (HC-05 type), and I’m trying to send data over Bluetooth to my Mac.I configured USART1 at 9600 baud in STM32CubeIDE, and my code is continuously sending a simple message like "Hello". The module is powered and appears to be working (LED is blinking, pairing works with my Mac).On macOS, I can see the Bluetooth device and pair with it successfully. I also see the serial port (e.g. /dev/tty.HC-05-xxxx), but when I try to read data using the terminal command:screen /dev/tty.HC-05-xxxx 9600I don’t receive anything.I’ve already checked:TX/RX connections (crossed correctly)Baud rate (9600 on both sides) Bluetooth pairing (successful)What I’m trying to achieve:Send data from the STM32 to my Mac via Bluetooth and read it as a serial stream.My questions:Is there something specific to configure on macOS for Bluetooth serial communication?Could the issue come from the STM32 confi

Hi I have a USB-C Connector that will be used for Power Delivery Sink  for charging and USB Full Speed Mode(12Mbps) for communicating with onboard STM32F767ZIT6. But only one thing will happen at a time.    As seen in the attached schematics, I have used STUSB4500 as PD Sink controller. I will communicate with it via I2C using STM32. I understand that this STUSB4500 will negotiate 20V(60W which i want for charging) with the source(which in this case is AC-DC Wall adapter) in Power Delivery Mode. But my question is during USB Full Speed Mode Communication with STM32, when that USB-C Receptable is connected to a PC instead of Wall Adapter. As during charging mode, USB_VBus is 20V and in Full Speed mode, it is 5V and my STM32 is Self-Powered and VBus sensing is mandatory. But due to USB VBus varying between 5V and 20V, I cant connect it to for example PA9 VBus sensing pin of STM32 using a voltage divider.  So, i was thinking maybe there is another option to sense

Hi, We are using an STM32F103 as a controller for a Half-bridge dc-dc convertor running at 110Khz. We are facing an issue where the microcontroller is resetting every minute when output crosses 12A. We disconnected all peripherals, removed all protections and kept only the PWM and reset problem sustains itself. On further inspection, we found that the PWM duration increases for a few cycles and then the microcontroller resets. It seems to us that the microcontroller clock slows down and then finally stops forcing a reset. We do not have watchdog timer implemented.We are using a 8MHz crystal. Please check attached image (CH1 - reset line, CH2 - Independent PWM, CH3 - Half bridge high side) The fun fact is that if we place the microcontroller on an external PCB and connect to the gate driver with wires, we do not see the microcontroller resetting. (even without the crystal). Sometimes, attaching an oscilloscope probe (1Mohm) also prevents restart. Currently,
