Hi,I’m prototyping with the SPV1050 Eval board (the buck-boost) version and I’m facing the following issue:I had to disable the MPPT since my power source is not a solar panel. It’s a generator (AC) being rectified into a DC voltage. But that’ll come later. For now I’ve been testing with a DC Power Supply, where I set the input voltage, and I know that around 5.6VDC I have around 300mW of available power on the source, so that would be approximately around 53mA. However the most I can get in is around 200mA, an input current of around 35mA. That’s 18mA that I am unable to harvest from the source. The power I get out is not too bad, I’m getting around 78-79% efficiency, and I’m charging a super capacitor up to 3.6V using the STORE pin. However I can’t figure out how to increase the input current.Vin Range: 3 - 5.6VPower In Range: 150mW - 320mWHow exactly is the input and output current limits set when MPPT is disabled?

Hello,I am trying to negotiate set the 2 ports as a source at the same time using the firmware package "STSW_STUSB012_v1_1". When I work only 1 port it is succesfull to be source which has the profiles (5V-3A, 9V-3A, 15V-3A, 20V-5A) and it negotiates for other sink devices. But When I work with 2 ports as a source there is no negotiate any profiles with any device. Can anyone help me on this?Thank you.

Hello.I'm using several STEF12H60M efuses on a controll board.The setup:The CLREF resistor is 20k, the CS resistor is 3.3k and the SS cap is 100nF. This puts the efuse triping on 6.1A.I'm controlling the efuse by pulling down the on/pd pin with a npn transistor. I want to enable and disable the efuse output.VCC=12VThe problem:On start up the efuse powers on and the output is on. GOK is on, DOC is on. All is fine.ON/PD is set to 0 and the efuse disables the output. All is fine.when i release ON/PD pin and it goes to logic '1', the efuse should enable the output, but it doesn, the GOK pin starts pulsing and the output doesn't enable.I've removed the capacitor on CS, but it's the same. I've other boards with the same setup and they work fine. Can someone help with this topic please?  

Hello.I have a bloated M4Z32-BR00SH1 battery which causes my SRAM not to retain any data. Does anyone know where can I get its Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)? Or may be at least an official documentation stating why it does not need an MSDS. Apparently, it is a requirement for safe shipping. Thank you.  

The circuit diagram is as follows，C1 is 0.1uf，VCC is 6V。I have the following problem:with a 100khz pwm signal (Dead Time=300ns) and with a power supply around 50v, When the current frequency is 100hz, the high side driver of the ic stdriveg600 starts to lose pulses and in general work in bad way.The more higher the current frequency, the more serious the phenomenon。What could be the reason?The curretnt  frequency is 100Hz The current frequency is 160Hz  

In my SMPS board input is DC. When I am giving supply to SMPS board, upto 75V input, voltage at Vcc pin is zero and supply current is around 0.15 mA. At 80V, voltage at Vcc pin is 5.27V(mean) (max 5.6V) and supply current is 1.2mA but Vcc voltage is not building up. Further when I am increasing voltage more than turn on threshold supply current almost remains same around 1.2-1.3 mA and voltage at Vcc pin is remaining  5.27V(mean) (max 5.6V). Vcc is not building and IC is not turning on.Questions1) At start up at 80V, IC drawing 1mA current but Vcc is not building upto 14V. it remains at 5.27V means. What is the reason?2) What will be the voltage profile at Vcc pin a) input voltage 80V - Input turn on threshold voltage( more that 80V)Modification 1:In above situation I have removed pull up resistor at COMP pin Observations:1) At 80V High voltage startup generator will start and upto 15V will build up at Vcc pin. Then high voltage generator will stops and Vcc voltage fall

I downloaded the NI Labview-runtime 2014,  NI VISA-RUNTIME and FTDI driver.I connected the EVM to the PC via USB and connected VBAT_CELL pin to power supply with 20V and GND_B to GND of power supply (see below picture). As can be seen from the picture all the LEDs are switched ON which means that the power supply to the module is properly done.Then, on GUI, I did the first 2 steps according to user guide. I saw the firmware version by pressing the 'get firmware version' button as mentioned in the datasheet. After that, we tried to activate Configure IDs button by writing 1 to ID asignment textbox. But the ACK light does not turn to green. Steps are explained below (see below picture).Step 1: Click "Reset COM port" - DONE (Fn is set to B0 and both COM and ACK signs became green)Step 2: Click "Get Firmware version" - DONE (version is 1.6)Step 3: On "Id Assignment" write 1 and click "Configure IDs" - CAN NOT DONE (After clicking, ACK led became red)What could be the problem

We are trying to get the L9961 Demo App working, but running into problems. We are following instructions according to document UM3141. In section 3.1.1.1 "Script Selection," it says to select the script entitled "Voltage Acquisition Init - 5Cell + VB + NTC.csv". Where is this script supposed to be?In the folder entitled "en.en.stsw-l9915c", there is a zipped file called "L9961_Script.7z". When I unpack this file, there is only one csv file in there, called "Current Acquistion Init - CC+CSA.csv". The Voltage acquisition script is missing. Thus, I cannot follow along with the rest of the instructions in UM3141. I attempted to make my own bootleg version of this script based on the screenshot in the UM3141 document, but the picture is pixelated so I'm not sure if I have all the commands correctly copied. It doesn't behave as expected. In the Message Log, I get "ERROR" on every "receive" message. The message log reads as shown in screenshot. I will attempt to follow along w

hi all,i have designed DC DC Buck convertor using L6986F convertor for 3.3V, 5V and 12V output respectively with input voltage of 24V DC. we tested the circuit and observed that at 3.5V input we are getting same 3.5V at the output port of 3.3V,5V and 12 V respectively. when we increase input voltage above 3.75V to 24V we are getting only 3.3V output voltage. but remaining output ports ie 5V and 12V we are not getting any voltage. If we switch off and  24V input supply we are not getting 3.3V also. we need to vary the input supply from 2V to 24 V that time only we are getting 3.3V. the design is already working in our other application.please suggest the possible faults. so that its helpful to me.

I am testing the LNBH26S with 430mA load at 18V on both channels of the chip, and on the bench the LNB chip reaches up to 100degC according to a thermal camera. Is this temperature at this load normal for the LNBH26S? My device needs to be weather proof (no airflow) so it is impossible for my device to provide LNB power before hitting the thermal shutdown temperature of 150degC when the deice is enclosed in the chassis. LNB chip is being powered by 16V.

hello  we are going to use ISO808 IC in our project according to the datasheet of ISO808 Short circuit protection on output channels ( ILIM(MIN) )is 0.7A but for Channel Output Current (continuous) it is mentioned as internally limited. could you please provide a data for continuous maximum output current per channel at 25 C ambient temperature or Is there any formula to calculate per channel continuous output current at particular ambient temperature.  Best regards,Nisha Yadav

Hello STM Community,I am attempting to interface a L9958SBTR h-bridge module with a STM32F031K6 MCU. The h-bridge module claims to support 3.3v logic levels, however the VDDIO pin which determines the logic level of the SPI SO (serial data out) pin is missing on this package. I have not received the modules yet so I cannot test the logic levels with an oscilloscope. I'm assuming that all the module's input pins will work with 3.3v signals, but how can I be sure that the SPI output won't fry the MCU (I.E. is outputting 3.3v and not 5v signals)?Thank you for your time

I have a project about using NFC to collect sensor information without power supply, but the current EH output energy cannot be directly connected to the nucleo voltage pin of STM32L476RG, so can I refer to the design of STEVAL-SMARTAG1, adopt the design of STLQ015 and then wake up the MCU? Can this wake up the MCU without power?

Dear experts,I am looking for a solution for PD3.1 adpater. below are my questions.which topology is suitable for PD3.1 adapter, ACF or AHB Flyback? could you please explain why?why the power below 65W, the topology is usually use ACF rather than AHB Flyback? At present, I have contacted the project about NFC power supply, but there has been no progress. The energy output through the EH pin of ST25DV has not successfully powered L4(MCU). Currently we know that SL-CNWLC05801V1 uses STM8, can its MCU be powered by NFC power supply? Is there any other way I can wirelessly power the MCU via NFC?

The above waveform attached shows input sinewave which is stepped down using transformer and I am using voltage based zero cross detection for firing Triac. Above waveform shows TRIAC is fired at almost 10% of Positive and Negative Half cycle. I want to remove that extra energy which getting generated because of Inductive load.I have tried changing resistor and capacitor for my snubber circuit but that didn't help.The main issue is as I try to conduct more part of sine wave like 50% of positive and negative Half the more is the inductive energy. In above waveform I am firing Triac at 50% of both half cycles but the other half is energy coming from Inductive load. At 50% itself the voltage across inductive load is showing around 220 volts because of this extra energy.If I go even more like more than 50% the waveform gets distorted.In my case this inductive load is a Electromagentic Feeder Coil it's used for Vibratory Feeder Controller.How do I remove this energy?My requirement is of
