Hello,I was trying to create two heap regions, sing internal RAM and external SRAM. So I tried below, but the code at some point crash and generate hardfault error. Despite my best efforts to populate and boot the the image of the STM32MP157-DK2 using the .tsv files I am met with a mixed result To date I have yet to establish a USB connection despite following the procedures at wiki. The UART connection is working. My environment is as follows ...Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS - stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.6-yocto-scarthgap-mpu-v26.02.18 - STM32CubeProgrammer v2.22.0 and STM32_Programmer_CLI Be it that I use STM32CubeProg or the STM32_Programmer_CLI terminal interface the FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157f-dk2-optee.tsv is not found despite the path being correct. Yet I am able to flash tf-a-stm32mp157c-dk2-optee-programmer-usb.stm32 0x01 or tf-a-stm32mp157f-dk2-optee-programmer-usb.stm32 0x01 using the terminal which was the first value in a sequence of the .tsv file (see kate as an example). The same conundrum occurs using STM32CubeProg. Might you suggest how I might resolve this problem - be it in establishing a USB connection or flashing the sd card usin

Hi, I'm trying to create a project to display data on an OLED screen. Even before programming my screen, upon simple connection, the connection constantly drops, and I can't maintain a stable link. I don't know where the idle setting is located in the SDK. It doesn't seem to be a truly stable parameter. Perhaps my code isn't stable. Everything else works perfectly; my services are added and functioning, but I still experience this disconnection, often after sending data. If I remain inactive for a long time, after a few seconds, the connection breaks. Thank

In STM32CubeMX v6.17.0, in the left side of the Pinout & Configuration panel, if the mouse cursor is within a table that lists peripherals, the scroll wheel doesn't do anything. I expect it to scroll the window. You need to move it outside of the table but still within the bounds of the "Categories" tab in order to scroll up and down. This is super annoying because it means you have to have the cursor on the far left or far right of this window otherwise a table will appear when scrolling and the mouse wheel will stop working.In the screenshot, having the cursor anywhere in the red box will stop it from scrolling. I expect it to scroll the green scrollbar.

I've relocated the .text section of a test project to SRAM1 through the C-bus address (starting at 0x0A00 0000). I have relocated the main function into SRAM1.The code runs fine, and if I suspend the chip and navigate to the 0x0A00 0000 address space on the disassembly view the code and debug information (function names, source code references, etc.) is present and visible.Navigating to 0x2000 0000 on the disassembly view also displays the same assembly instructions but without any debug informationWith main located in SRAM1, the debugger fails to stop on entry into main, despite the debug configuration setting.If I set a breakpoint on any code that is located in SRAM1, the debugger does not suspend on those breakpoints, UNLESS I set a breakpoint in the reset handler (which is in FLASH), hit the breakpoint after a reset, and step into main from the reset handler, then it stops on breakpoints normally. As is well known, the ADC sampling rate is on the order of microseconds, while the display task may only refresh once every 100 milliseconds. In an RTOS, how can the display task and ADC sampling values be synchronized? With such a long display refresh cycle, how are the numerous ADC sampling values handled—should they be discarded or stored in a buffer? If stored in a buffer, would it occupy substantial memory space? How do people handle this issue in actual applications?

My name is Jeongsoo Lee. We are using the L9961 (BMS IC) and have configured the circuit using the L99615C development board to establish a basic framework. However, our battery solution requires a 3-series configuration. The datasheet and development report guide connecting from cell 1, but there is no information on handling the remaining cell 4 and 5 pins. I also have additional questions regarding whether the entire circuit ground should be connected to C0. Our specific questions are: Should the C4 and C5 pins be left floating, or should they be grounded?Should the entire ground of the BMS IC and MCU be connected based on C0? When debugging our BMS board based on the L99615C circuit (5 cells to 3 cells) using the STSW-L9961BMS code, we are encountering an issue where Cells 1 to 3 are read in reverse order. Hey guys.. new here.. I’m building a small STM32F103 board to read temp and pressure sensors… prototype works fine on breadboard but now want to make PCB..Problem is.. I tried to route VCC and GND planes in KiCad, but when I refill copper zones some areas near STM32 pins stay unconnected.. DRC shows some warnings for vias too..Should I place more vias near STM32 or maybe change copper zone settings?? Also decoupling caps.. some are far from pins because of routing.. will that cause issues?? I’m little worried about noise and stability.. never made 2-layer pcb with stm32 before..

I’ve looked at the example files for STiROT_OEMuROT: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7RS/tree/main/Projects/STM32H7S78 -DK/ROT_Provisioning/STiROT_OEMuROTI’ve tried that out, and now I’d like to generate my own keys, but what I’m missing are the OEMuROT_Data.obk and STiROT_Data. obk files. I can generate the OEMuROT_Config.obk and STiROT_Config.obk files with their corresponding XML files using STM32TrustedPackageCreator_CLI, but how do I generate the _Data. obk files? They don’t have any config files, and I can’t find anything online either. Hi all, I have reached the point of desperation, and I am all out of ideas how to get my STM32U031 project working.I designed a very simple PCB which has only a few components. I have attached the KiCad files in case it is helpful. I followed guidelines for decoupling capacitors and broke out the SWDIO and SWCLK pins. The issue I have is this: I can not program/connect to the chip over SWD. When I power the PCB from 3V, the first noticeable problem is GPIO PA3 goes high. You can notice that because that pin is connected to the gate of a mosfet which is used to switch some LEDs, so when it goes high, the LEDs turn on. It is especially strange because I put an external pulldown resistor on the pin, so the fresh unprogrammed MCU is driving it high for some reason. I also connected my ST Link to the PCB, but when I try to connect with any speed or reset settings, I see this error:02:27:47 : UR connection mode is defined with the SWrst reset mode02:27:47 : ST-LINK SN : 003B00

I am using a STM32WB05KZ of a custom PDB, and I can not read a correct value of Vbattery.I have programed the ACD (+DMA) usgin CubeMX.  I use DMA to read the analog inputs:ADC_Conv_Cplt = 0; HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1, value, 3); uint32_t start = HAL_GetTick(); while(ADC_Conv_Cplt==0){ //timeout if ((HAL_GetTick() - start) > 3000){//wait 3 seconds break; } }; HAL_ADC_Stop_DMA(&hadc1);According de manual, the formula for ADC converted data after calibration is the following: Code = Integer(4096/3.6 * VIN) [clamped at 4095]. The result of conversion from Vbat is 0x271, applying the formula I get 0,549V when the Vbat is 3V.I also use 2 analog inputs in PB2 and PB5 and nome of them read correctly. Hi,I have made up six boards and three of them had an unusually high standby current (35mA instead of 1mA).Eventually, when the IC was removed, we found Pins 5 & 6 of the removed IC were shorted internally (0.3R)They were also shorted to pin 45 with 3.7R. The other two boards are showing similar shorts.The board worked fine with a new MCU.Does anyone know what might cause this short?TIA,Patrick. 

The sensor box pro is a neat device.  If I use the CLI Example program and the USB cable, I can get 8000 data points per second, if I use a traditional C# program I get 8 data points per second.  The CLI yields dat files, which can be read with a simple C# program, although why you would mix 6 and 4 data groups is beyond my skill set to understand, but it is easier to use than Python and MEMS Set.   And it is easier to do the byte data in C#.  (It took less time to write this program than I spent trying to get Python to work.)CLI Example makes me type enter to start.  I have many ST.COM accelerometers all over the world and I am not going to type enter to start, but the main.cpp and main.h and the cmake lists file will not compile in CMAKE or Visual Studio.  So I cannot fix the challenging feature. Could we get VS SLNX file and the C++ code for this program as part of the SLNX so it is easy to take out the enter statement and break the outpu

Dear al!i need your help, i design PCB use STM32H755ZIT6, i set up mode PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPLLY_LDO via STM32CubeMX 6.12.1. I expect core M7's clock is 400Mhz, M4's clock is 200Mhz. I measure voltage after L2 is 1.8V, at each Vcap pin is 1.0V, The MCU warmed up to about 35 degrees Celsius and chip didn't run. can you share me my mistake, this is the first time which i handle with SMPS block

I have a project that will be using the LIV4F chip. I downloaded and installed X-CUBE-GNSS1 but its description says it is for the LIV3F. Is it compatible with and will it function with the LIV4F chip? I will be using it on the STM32G474CEU6.Thanks!

I have been playing with the n6-dk for a while and today something unexpected happened.When I try to run the stock code provided in the model zoo services, the board flashes for a moment at startup and the debugger and the board become unresponsive (requiring power cycling).Another weird thing is that if I flash the code and connect the board to a power source the code seems to be running correctly. I tried with another desktop experiencing the same issue. I also tried to do a mass erase and fresh flashing of fsbl, source, and network code.This was not a problem before, for weeks I run the code with the board connected to my desktop, I have never seen the code crash like that (normally, if something in the code is wrong, I hit a fault and the board get stuck in a sig handler loop).Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hello, I have a setup with a processing unit connected to two IMU sensors via SPI.One of those IMU's is the IIS3DWB.I am configuring the IIS3DWB with FIFO in continuous mode and I can read data properly from FIFO.I decided to make long run tests. With these tests, I noticed that some times after 10 minutes, after 2h or more, I can't read data from the IIS3DWB FIFO since the values read from FIFO_STATUS1 and FIFO_STATUS2 are 0.I wrote a piece of code to only run after this transition from proper read to read 0's, where I read the CHIP_ID and the FIFO_CTRL registers. The result is a proper read of the CHIP_ID and the all FIFO_CTRL registers are read as 0.It looks to me that some reset occurred to the internal registers. Aren't the capacitors of the STEVAL board making his job?As a note, the other IMU continuous working properly and SPI bus also does not present any issue.Do you have a suggestion on how to mitigate or debug further?Thank you.
